Thank you so much, sweet anon. I'm doing my best to be there for my family and take care of myself. It's still hard, but I'm doing more things that will make me happy, since I know that's what dad would want. I'm going to a big concert in a couple months, trying for my JLPT N5 certification later this year, and I've started saving up for a trip to Japan at some point. :D (Dad lived in Tokyo for a while in the 80s, and while not on my level, he shared an interest in weird JP media. He went to a midnight showing of House with me a couple years back, and it's one of my favorite memories with him.)

Heya, anon! I was actually just about to make a "*stumbles back out of my grave*" post.

I, uh. Took a social media break due to real-life stress. Namely, my dad passed away suddenly due to complications from what should have been relatively routine surgery. I've been grieving okay, and I'm getting back to enjoying fannish stuff, but I've just been busy with taking care of all the life changes that come with losing him.

I actually just started reading the post-hiatus HtF updates and I ran here to make a "go off king" post about 244 blurting out that he's ace but still dtf. Go off king.
