Why are most of you so ironically about PRedux and her sources. It seems to me she knows a lot and has information before everyone. She also knows that Sam wasn’t at Cologne nor did he compete.

I don‘t understand all the hype about Cait’s last IG story. She didn’t tag the company nor marked the product as advertising. For me it’s obviously that she did this for private reasons and not for making money.

If I have an IG account with almost 2 million followers, then every product I talk about (paid for or not) is advertising.

How many of those 2 million do you think will be inspired by the post to test or buy the product?

Please don't be so naive to think that this won't have an effect on the buying behavior of the fans. If it didn't, companies wouldn't pay influencers generously to promote their products.

Why are you all so pissed with Starz? We should be happy that they give us a season 7 and 8 at all. If you are so frustrated with the November airing and have a problem to live without your Outlander fantasy then I suggest you go and buy Diana’s books, they will keep you entertained until then.

Oh Anon, don’t think Starz is Mother Teresa. They don't give anything out of charity. The only thing that decides whether a series is continued or not is profitability and not whether the fans want it or not.

And if I don't make an effort for my viewers, then I shouldn't be surprised if the figures are no longer valid at the end of the day.

But thanks for the advice, to give the money to DG instead of Starz. But after reading her last book, I prefer other authors which keep me entertained in my spare time.

There are not many things that leave me speechless.

But today was one of those moments. When a sick princess is put under such public pressure to talk about her illness for weeks, that she has no other option but to declare herself publicly, that is more than pathetic!

Don't get me wrong, I‘m not a fan of the royal family nor of monarchies, but I think everyone, whether princess or celeb, has a right to privacy and what is more private than your medical history?

Imagine you are undergoing chemotherapy, have to deal with the fear of such a diagnosis and have three small children at home, and feel the need to explain yourself to the whole world.

Anyone who has ever been confronted with cancer themselves or in their family knows what such a diagnosis means. How much strength, effort, exhaustion, fear, etc. it brings with it.

It is a shame that people who insist on maintaining their own privacy, do not apply the same standards to people in the public eye.

I don't disagree with your list, but I would also say there are factions within the shipper community that are as equally vitriolic as those they claim victimhood from, and continue to perpetuate the fandom toxicity. Having been in several fandoms prior to OL, it's a rare fandom that isn't toxic.

It's less about the grouping in the fandome and more about the fact that good manners, an appropriate style of speech and tolerating other views are increasingly falling by the wayside. The number of people who think that they are most likely to be noticed when they shout the loudest is increasing all the time. Out of 5 questions you get today, 3 are insulting and at least one is written in such a way that I wouldn't repeat it in public. It's annoying and ridiculous.

You don‘t like high school drama

You don‘t like communication at kindergarten level

You don‘t like to be harassed because you have a different opinion

You don’t like people who make fun of you because of your linguistic skills

You have a problem tolerating other people’s views

You don’t like being put into a generalized category

You don‘t like to worship everything a celeb does

You like to think critically and express it

You don‘t have a thick skin

You don‘t want to be dragged into a fan war

You take everything too seriously

You have a hot temper and problems to cool down

You believe everything you are told

Do not want to be insulted because of your skin color, sexuality, religion or views

You don't like belonging to a minority of the fandom that is blamed for everything in general

You don't want to deal with people who try to poison you with negative energy

Join a fandom if you like a happy place, away from your real daily craziness and where you don't take everything too fanatically. A place where you can meet nice people from all parts of the world, with different backgrounds and different opinions.

Don't let the increasingly negative energy here dominate you.

I find that in this fandom we are turning round after round, year for year. Every picture, every interview and ever appearance (whether Sam/Cait or Sam/Tony) will be analyzed and it’s always the same, like push and pull in different directions. Why is this so, even after 10 years and why is it so hard für most here to accept that they never were a couple and that everything they said in the IFH was true? Is it be most here are too romantic so what is it? Even after so many years here, I can’t pinpoint what is the reason for.

I've always found it funny that the IFH serves as confirmation for so many different theories. - They're not together - They're together, but have to deny it - He loves her, she doesn't love him - He’s gay, she just served as his cover - They had an affair, then she meets the love of her live and since then it’s over - They were naive in their dealings with each other in the early days, that is now being rectified - She now has a serious relationship and in order not to hurt her boyfriend, it is important for her to make it clear that she and Sam are not a couple.

I mean come on, this was an official interview during OL promo and not a serious personal one with a acknowledged and professional journalist for times magazine.

So let’s all that put aside and see one simple fact.

Have you ever heard of two actors confirming their relationship in a promo interview? The general statement is always the same "We are friends"

And that’s legitimate because let’s be honest, even as an actor you have a right to privacy (although many seem to forget that) and what is more private and personal than your relationships status.

So no, the IFH proves absolutely nothing.

What says something is your body language, which happens naturally and can only be controlled to a limited extent. In general, however especially in situations when you are surprised by questions, you do not expect to be observed or you act contrary to your natural feelings or feel uncomfortable.

It's the same as having your picture taken at work with your boss shaking hands and smiling, even though he's one of the most unpleasant people for you. You're smiling, but it's obvious that it's not real.

I guess that’s the reason why most are here, because we see that something doesn’t fit and it‘s different from what we are told.

I usually don‘t talk about others, especially not this blogger. But today, after a worse day, I‘m not in the best mood, so let me say just one thing that bothers me for a while now.

This lady leads a crusade against shippers in an insulting and sometimes more than crazy way. Condemns others for commenting on Cait's personal life, but shares every photo of Cait that can be found and has crossed more red lines then can be drawn.

So let's just say madness occurs in all parts of the fandom, not just in shipperville as is so often communicated.

I don't believe in the motto that the end justifies the means. And for my part, I have too much self-respect to use all the (questionable) means just to prove my point.

I'm so sick of seeing post after post on Instagram of celebrities saying "I love you" for media attention and publicity. But maybe I'm just too unromantic. I know you have a family, do you celebrate Valentine's Day?

In this case I am unromantic too. I prefer small gifts and tokens of love throughout the year and not just on a specific day of the year, just because that's what the majority dictates.

Apart from that, I think it's ridiculous to film myself kissing my husband and then post it online. That makes no sense to me, I prefer to enjoy some things in the moment and not while filming.

I don‘t know why so many here don‘t respect Sam and Cait. They are both hard working actors, this should be something you all should show respect for. Normally a fan should support their idols, not criticize them.

First of all you may be at the wrong side of the fence here because I can’t remember being disrespectful to anyone.

Secondly, I always try to show everyone a basic level of courtesy.

But respecting someone is a completely different matter and for me has nothing to do with their profession (as an actor), their financial circumstances, the color of their skin, their religion or anything else.

For example, I respect the cleaning lady in our company, who has 3 jobs and works hard all day for a minimum wage to be able to feed her children, much more than some CEO or politician who has dozens of employees who relieve him every day, but doesn't find it necessary to find a kind word for them.

I respect many people - people who show kindness, perseverance, empathy, compassion, ambition, who admit mistakes and stand by them, who accept/tolerate others and their different opinions and views, people who fight their way back into life after traumatic experiences or illnesses despite everything.

But I certainly don't respect anyone just because of their profession as an actor.
