Chapter 2 (Once Upon a Time there was a Demon King who slapped himself to death.)
Little Orchid suddenly heard him mutter something under his breath. Before she could react, she saw Dong Fan Qing Cang make his way toward the staircase.
“Where are you going?” She stared at him. “Hey, don’t go wandering off like that, there are a lot of magic barriers in here… You’re in my body right now! Hey, are you even listening to me right now?”
He let her shouts get louder and louder as he ascended the staircase without even bothering to look back.
“Ayo! Dong Fang…” Before she could finish saying his name, his head disappeared behind the stone staircase.
Frightened, she inhaled a gust of cold air. She watched as he continued upward; first his torso disappeared, then his legs, then the rest of his body was out of sight! Refusing to believe what was going on, she rubbed her eyes, then look a closer look at where he was going. It was then that she noticed where he had disappeared was the beginning of the second floor of the tower.
Could it be that there was a hidden paradise in the tower? To be fair, it made perfect sense that they would put one up there to tantalize the prisoner. Little Orchid rubbed her chin, considering the possibility that at the bottom, it was only possible to see the very top, and not the second, third, fourth, or fifth floor.
If that were the case, then there were other prisoners in here.
According to what she remembered, she never heard her master ever mention the opening of Hao Tian Tower or anything about imprisoning demons. She had to find that out for herself. Therefore, if there are other demons trapped in here, that must mean they’ve been here for a very long time. And if they’re stuck in the most fortified tower in the three realms, it doesn’t take a lot to conclude that they’re definitely not puny and weak.
Hao Tian Tower consists of nine floors total, and it’s pretty darn possible that there are more than just a couple of extra inmates in here. If Dong Fang Qing Cang were smart enough, he could let those guys out, and blowing this up wouldn’t seem so impossible.
Little Orchid rubbed her hands together, feeling a bit excited.
Then there was the problem of what would happen to the rest of the world after they blew up the tower and released all the prisoners…
Oh well! She decided to maintain her conservative opinion that she was in no position to do the Heavenly Emperor’s job for him.
She watched expectantly as she imagined him marching back down with a bunch of monsters, an air of intimidation trickling down the staircase with them. But for a long time, Dong Fang Qing Cang was nowhere to be found. It was as if he really disappeared into the tower, not a trace to be found.
Little Orchid was very worried that she would never get her body back.
Day after day, her worries piled on, and she felt her energy waning. She started to have hazy dreams— sometimes it was of her master gently watering her, sometimes it was of Dong Fang Qing Cang ripping out all her hair. She even dreamed about that day…
That day of the great Heaven-Demon Battle, she had frantically descended from the heavenly realm and accidentally bumped into the newly revived but heavily injured Dong Fang Qing Cang. He had grabbed her, and without hesitation sunk his teeth into her neck. She vividly felt her soul get sucked out of her body, along with her blood.
Before she passed out, she vaguely heard him use her body to tell the heavenly guards that were in hot pursuit of him, “I am willing to go into the Hao Tian Tower to watch over this demon, a deed worthy of my thousands of years of cultivation.”
She wanted to curse at him. Worthy my ass. I haven’t even lived a thousand years…
When she awoke, she was with the demon lord, her inside the cage and him outside. This was what happened in reality, but in Little Orchid’s dreams, she was somehow in the cage with him. They hadn’t swapped bodies yet, but every day he would grab her by the straps of her undergarments* [(t/n): 肚兜 is a type of undergarment worn in ancient China; you can imagine it like a type of cami top with spaghetti straps] and grin at her hideously, “Are you going to obey me or not? If not, I’ll yank out your hair tuft by tuft!”
She cried so hard she lost her voice, but the big demon guy [1] remained indifferent. At last, she was helpless to do anything, so she started to undress. Just then, her master appeared with a sickle, threatening her with the consequences of betraying her people. I’d rather feed you to the pigs than let that devil eat you clean.
Little Orchid was scared pale. In her panic, she heard a cold scoff.
“Get up.”
Startled, she shuffled up with a head of cold sweat. The woman outside the cell looked at her coldly.
“Big…” Little Orchid began, then suddenly noticed that there was another pair of eyes staring at her. She turned her head to see that behind Dong Fang Qing Cang, there was a black-haired man dressed in red.
Reinforcements!
The word flashed in her mind in bold, bright letters. Big demon guy actually found reinforcements and let them out! But upon closer examination, Little Orchid found herself unable to muster a smile. She may not have known much, but she could recognize the fire emblem between his brows: it was the mark of a fallen adeptus. A fallen adeptus that was imprisoned in the Hao Tian Tower.
She remembered her master say, only those that harbored great hatred would become a fallen adeptus. These guys that often had twisted minds, distorted views about the world, and whose actions and emotions were more unpredictable than the average demon, were not to be provoked. Little Orchid quietly took a step back, but she still managed to catch the eye of the red-clad man in front of her. “Oh, so there’s also a pretty man here?” He said coquettishly, causing her to furrow her brows.
Not waiting for her to observe him further, his figure turned and rested his hand on Dong Fang Qing Cang’s shoulder. Smoothly sliding his hand down, he pulled him into his arms. “Hey beautiful.” His blooming peach-blossomed eyes were almost dripping with aphrodisiac, “So you let me out just to save him, eh? That really breaks my heart.”
What! This… this guy was a straight up player!
“You let go!” Little Orchid yelled furiously. “Claws off!” I’m an innocent and precious orchid girl, how could I tolerate being toyed with like this!
Her gruff, masculine voice caught the attention of the two outside the cell. Dong Fang Qing Cang side-eyed her, completely unbothered by the actions of the other man dressed in red.
Intrigued, the red-clad man raised an eyebrow and laughed, “Darling, what’s your relationship with this person, hmm? It’s making me terribly jealous.”
“There’s nothing going on between us.” Dong Fang Qing Cang said calmly, making Little Orchid’s anger seem completely out of the blue.
The man outside looked at Little Orchid and chuckled, “So this guy thinks you like him back and wants to be your little cupid?” He narrowed his eyes and looked her up and down, sizing her up. Then, he furrowed his brow slightly, “You do look quite familiar though…”
“You don’t seem to want to leave this place very much, huh?” Dong Fang Qing Cang cut him off. His voice dropped to subzero temperatures as he said, “If you don’t want to leave, I’ll just lock you back in.”
“Darling, don’t be mad.” The man in red withdrew his hands. “Alright alright, let’s talk business. You said the Hao Tian Tower’s critical point was where now?”
Dong Fang Qing Cang walked forward a few steps to the center of the tower, and raised a hand to mark four cardinal points. “Today at noon, the four points will shift, especially the true east, where the orb will cast its shadow.” He pointed towards the wall Little Orchid was facing. “At that time, this place will become the Hao Tian Tower’s weakest point. If we blow up this area, the tower will collapse without a doubt.”
The man in red rubbed his chin, pondering for a while. “Darling, you seem to me an immortal from the heavenly realm. I’m afraid you don’t know the vast surpressing power the tower has over fallen adepti and demons like me. The greater your power, the stronger the suppression; it takes everything in me to use even a fraction of my power. You sure that I can blow up a primordial artifact in its split moment of weakness?”
He had a point, and Little Orchid didn’t believe it either.
If Hao Tian Tower could be destroyed that easily, then it’s too lame to deserve the title as a primordial artifact.
Dong Fang Qing Cang smiled, “Of course I’m not sure.” He continued, “I will cast my spell here, and at the same time, you just use your little bit of power to blow up that wall over there.” The man in red was speechless for a good while, dumbstruck at what he’d just heard. “That’s weird, you’re neither a fallen adeptus nor a demon, and you have little to no cultivation… why do you know so much about the Hao Tian Tower’s weaknesses, and why do you have the guts to say all this? Who are you, really?”
“You only need to know that right now, we both have a common goal.”
The man in red licked his lips, a glint dashing across his murky black eyes. “Girlie, you are so mysterious and hard to read, it really makes it hard for me to… hide my feelings. I’ve met countless women, but never have I seen a woman with such a temperament…” As he spoke, he made his way to Dong Fang Qing Cang, but once he got within two steps of him, he suddenly feigned spraining his ankle and screamed, “Oww, I rolled my ankle.” Reaching forward, he laid his hand across Dong Fang Qing Cang’s chest. The undergarment with its meticulously embroidered orchids was pulled down a little, and revealed some elusive curves.
After a sneaky grope, he looked up and flashed her a flirty grin, ready to use his gaze to tease the girl even more. Who would’ve thought that he’d find himself looking into a pair of calm, cold, and emotionless eyes?
Huh?
This girl who just got violated by him was now staring at him silently with the gaze of a dead fish.
That’s not how it’s supposed to go…
What happened to the bashfulness? The anger? The fit of hysteria and craziness after being toyed with? The high-pitched, girly shouts that make his heart melt?
“Aghhhhh!”
The silence that stood still like stagnant water was suddenly broken by an explosive, tiger-like roar from behind the bars. “Aggghhhh! Get your mitts off!”
The man in red was astonished, and quickly whipped his head around to see the beautiful man in the cage stare at him with a pair of red eyes filled with murderous rage, screaming “Let go let go let go! Take your hands off! You bastard! I want to kill you! I want to kill you!”
The rough shouts made the man blink a couple of times, before turning to ask Dong Fang Qing Cang, “What’s… this about?”
Dong Fang Qing Cang, with a blank face, fixed his top that had been pulled down a bit earlier. “You standing firmly?”
“Ah… yeah… wait! You’re not mad?”
Dong Fang Qing Cang’s lips curled into a smile that was crazier than the one he wore on his face when he was being molested. “Why would I be mad?” He pushed aside the man that was frozen dumbstruck. “Move aside, I’m going to cast the formation now.”
The man in red was shoved and stood foolishly on one side. The man in the cage, meanwhile, was still hoarsely screaming, “I’m going to pulverize your hands! One day I will literally pulverize your hands!” He looked to the side to see the beautiful man in the cage kicking the wall, completely abandoning his image.
Turning his head again, the victim of harassment was pacing around the corner, then suddenly took off his shoe and threw it at the cage. “You’re so noisy, be quiet.” He then continued walking casually without his shoes on.
The man in red blinked again. Is it because I’ve been stuck in here for so long that I can no longer understand the world these days…
(T/N): [1] in the original she calls him “大魔头,” which literally means “big demon head/big demon boss,” but I changed it to “big demon guy” because it does lose the humor and sense of endearment when you translate it it so literally in my opinion :’)

Chapter 1 (Little Orchid Had Basically Imploded)
Little Orchid sat in the jail cell, staring at the girl outside that sat in intense meditation, who was so silent that even the sound of breathing could not be heard. How many days has it been… Little Orchid stuck out her chin, expressing great concern. That dude outside… is he even breathing properly? If he dies like that it would suck so much for me to just be stuck here alone!
Plus, the body outside is her actual body!
And the one she’s in right now…
Little Orchid grabbed the long hair that fell to her waist, and used her huge hands to rub her flat chest for the hundredth time. “It’s. So… firm.” She choked out.
Those few syllables came out of her mouth in the deep, rasp voice of a man, and it echoed throughout the Hao Tian Tower. But the sound disrupted the long-held silence, as the woman outside the cell finally exhaled. With her eyes still closed, she said, “Little flower demon, if you feel my body up one more time, I will not hold back from doing the same to you.”
“You’re so whiny. What’s wrong with touching your chest, you’re literally a grown man…” Little Orchid trailed off, suddenly feeling a wave of heat over her face. “Ayo hold on, where did you think I was touching? Ew! You’re actually so disgusting!”
The woman’s almond-shaped eyes opened, and her face held an expression that was completely out of place with her features. “He” chuckled sarcastically, “A girl who can say something like that can hardly be so innocent herself.”
Little Orchid blew a raspberry at Dong Fang Qing Cang, before taking a breath and finding something new to squabble with him about. “By the way, aren’t you the primordial Demon Lord? Legend says that you were quite the “stealth-lord.” He lifted an eyebrow, causing her to gulp before she continued, “If… if you’re that smart and stealthy, then you should have some way to get out of here…”
Dong Fang Qing Cang closed his eyes once more. “If you want to leave, start by not making this harder for me.”
Little Orchid’s eyes widened in anger. “The one in the cage is me! How is this making things harder for you? If you want to talk about making things harder, I think you’re the number one, super expert at making everyone’s lives so much harder!”
If not for him, why would she be here right now, stuck in the Hao Tian Tower? Why else would she go from a small, orchid girl to a rough, barbarian of a man… to be fair though, this demon guy does have really delicate and soft skin… and a nice body… and nice hair… and pretty features… and long fingers… with pretty fingernails…
Little Orchid shook her head vigorously. “…in any case! If not for you unlucky demon, I wouldn’t be stuck in such a horrible place!”
“Unlucky?“ Dong Fang Qing Cang’s eyes reduced to slivers. “Addressing me as such, I see you really have some guts.”
Seeing those eyes that were clearly her own yet now somehow had the most frightening gaze, Little Orchid felt her insides freeze up and her stomach churn. Maybe, just maybe, her kidneys were beginning to fail too. But the bars of the cage in front of her gave her the courage to retort him. She puffed up her cheeks and huffed, “If you’re so powerful, try hitting me!”
Upon hearing that, Dong Fang Qing Cang’s face broke into a smile. He grabbed the hair that was neatly draped over his shoulders, and before the tongue-tied orchid could say anything, her hair fell to the ground with a snap and a swish.
She sat there, totally frozen.
M-my hair…..
Dong Fang Qing Cang played with the cut hair in his hand, “You don’t have the brightest head around here, though your hair did grow out pretty nicely.” Once he finished, he casually tossed away the hair. Her luscious black locks, like the tail of a peacock, beautifully spread across the ground. Dong Fang Qing Cang sat there, toying with the hair that had already been sliced to ear-length. Sitting back now with his legs crossed, he flashed her the most outrageously cruel smile, “How’s that? You forgot that right now, you’re in my hands.”
What a monster! A perverted, sick-in-the-head monster!
Little Orchid felt her knees give out as she looked at the ground littered with her cut hair. Finding the heart-wrenching pain unbearable, she burst into tears. After crying for a while, she decided that she wanted to seek revenge. Angrily, she ferociously stared him down. “I’m not done with you yet!”
Little Orchid reached behind her and grabbed a strand of those long, silver locks. Imitating Dong Fang Qing Cang, she tried snapping her fingers.
That made her want to cry even more.
Inside this guy’s body, she had no way of doing any magic. She had no idea if it was because she had no idea how to control the power, or if she had no powers at all.
As if Dong Fang Qing Cang had anticipated it all along, his smile grew even bigger. “Good luck cutting off my hair! You might need to cultivate for another good 10,000 years to do that.”
Little Orchid grit her teeth. “I don’t buy a single word you say!” As she spoke, she grabbed a few strands of his hair and yanked really hard, pulling them out completely. The pain sent shivers down her spine. Dong Fang Qing Cang froze, and his smile waned a bit. Pretending to not feel the pain, she mimicked his evil smirk, “Today I shall make you bald.”
His face visibly darkened. “Stop it.”
Before he could finish, she plucked another four or five strands of hair from his head.
Dong Fang Qing Cang’s eyes narrowed. “If you continue to be so reckless, I will fracture your elbow.”
Hearing that made her blood boil. “If you break my elbow, I’m going to slit your throat!”
“Speak another word and I’ll slice your tongue off!”
”Do that, and I’ll have no choice but to castrate you!”
Having no comeback to her last remark, he grew silent. The two of them sat and stared at each other for so long that Little Orchid felt her eyes become sore. She shifted her gaze, and blinked a couple of times, taking in the image of her hair that was strewn across the ground.
She felt upset and wronged, and totally helpless to do anything about the situation. So she chose to bury her head in her knees and bawl her eyes out.
It’s gone.
I’ll never be able to tie up my hair in pretty braids, or put cute flowers in my hair ever again. All thanks to this demon guy, I’ll have to live out the rest of my life in this sad jail cell… I have nothing else to live for…
From outside the cell, Dong Fang Qing Cang saw the girl curl up into a ball in his body and let out the most agonizing sobs with his deep, husky voice.
He couldn’t even describe how dismayed he felt at the sight.
“You’re not allowed to cry.” He requested rigidly.
She was so heartbroken that hearing that made her cry even harder.
To Dong Fang Qing Cang, her cries sounded like the claws of ghosts scratching at the insides of his head. It more intolerable than the feeling of Chi Di’s black ice needles coursing through his veins.
“Get up!” He commanded.
Little Orchid lifted up her head, face covered in tears and snot. “Give me back my hair!”
Seeing his own face in such a mess, he did his best to contain his shock. “You get up first!”
“Give me back my hair first!”
“Fine! Here!” Dong Fang Qing Cang flicked his wrist and all the cut hair on the ground flew up, and each strand filed neatly back onto her head where it belonged. It only took a moment for her hair to neatly cascade down her back and be perfectly restored to its original state.
She stared dumbfounded at her newly reconnected hair, so amazed that she had totally forgot about seeking revenge. “Since when was my body able to do magic like that…”
The man in her body only flashed her a look of disdain. “Clean up that face of yours for me.”
Now that her long hair was restored, she wasn’t so sad anymore, so she started to wipe her face down with her sleeves.
Dong Fang Qing Cang sat back down and looked at her, “Being able to successfully threaten me… you really are the first person in history to do that.” He sighed, with a strange tone of admiration.
“You are also the first person in history to make me cry with the voice of a man.” She wiped her face with exasperation. “I don’t want to stay with you for a minute longer! Do you even know how to get out of this tower?”
“Of course I do.”
“What’s the plan?”
“We blow this tower up.” He said nonchalantly, as if it were as easy as killing a mosquito.
Little Orchid was absolutely dumbstruck, hanging her head down sadly. “That’s it. I’m never going to see my master ever again in this life.”
Who could blame her? Hao Tian Tower was a primordial celestial object, and it was no easy feat to blow it up. Besides, they switched bodies, and she had no way of determining the power contained in his body; even if she were able to tell, she wouldn’t be able to use his demonic powers anyways.
But Dong Fang Qing Cang…
Little Orchid could only let out a laugh. She knew exactly what she was capable of, and even though he was able to completely restore her hair, it wouldn’t change the fact that her body only had a tiny bit of power from her few hundred years of cultivation. With that power, it would be a piece of cake to kill a couple of small demons. But to explode the Hao Tian Tower? Maybe, after hundreds of thousands of years of more cultivation.
The tip of her nose felt a bit acrid, as she recalled the moment she first met Dong Fang Qing Cang. She really gave up her whole life in exchange for that moment of curiosity.
“How are you stupid enough to still be stuck here? Since you’ve already switched into my body, you could’ve stayed that way and ran out,” She explained regretfully. “Then when you got out, we could’ve switched back and our chances of escaping would’ve been much greater.”
He scoffed. “Doesn’t the heavenly realm love to boast about their moral altruism and selflessness? But to escape, you would go as far as to ‘switching back’ with me once I got out? You really trust me to not wreak havoc in the outside world, and burn all life as we know it to the ground?” Dong Fang Qing Cang leaned in, imitating her posture. “Where’s your integrity, hmm?”
Pouting, Little Orchid replied, “I already thought about that. That’s the job of the guards out there and the Heavenly Emperor. My master once told me that the worst thing a person could do was to steal another person’s job. So nope! It’s not my problem anymore once you get out there.”
Dong Fang Qing Cang rubbed his chin, deep in thought. After a moment of silence, he finally said, “How about you join me and enter the ranks of the demons? Seems to me you have quite a few qualifications, little flower demon.”
“Nope! My master would feed me to the pigs.” She paused, then let out a deep sigh. “But if I’m in here, she can’t really feed me to the pigs… If only you’d stayed out there, you might’ve had a chance of getting the demon bad guys to help you out. Now you’re stuck in the tower alone with me with no one to depend on, with no chance of escaping ever again…”
“Who told you there’s no one here to help us.” He said, looking at her quietly.
Little Orchid froze. “If we’re not alone, who else is here?” She looked around, searching for any signs of life.
Inside the tower, there was a spiral staircase that hugged the inner wall. The center was empty, save for the shining orb that hovered overhead. With the way the place was structured, one could pretty much take in everything at a glance. If there really were other people there, it should be more obvious.
Dong Fang Qing Cang smiled again, showing off that annoying grin. Apparently, having another person live in your body was really quite the experience. As Little Orchid pondered over who else could possibly be in the tower, she heard Dong Fang Qing Cang mutter under his breath, “It’s about time.”

Prologue
“I, the Great Lord, art an immortal being; the three realms may be vast, and the universe an endless expanse, but never has there ever been another to contend with for my position.” The shadow delicately reclined on the bed of molten rock, and playfully grabbed a piece of red-hot lava. “And you, a mere woman, wish to slay me with thine sword?”
Murderous intent swirled around the longsword like a raging snowstorm, as the woman that wielded it stood in the air, smirking with even greater recklessness and impudence than her opponent. “Dong Fang Qing Cang, are you afraid to challenge me?”
“Hahahaha, afraid?” Dong Fang Qing Cang let out a hearty laugh, and the scorching lava in his palm, glowing a wrathful shade of red, morphed into an illustrious longsword. The hot air quickly expanded, sending shockwaves through the fabric of the woman’s clothes.
“Chi Di, those good-for-nothings from the heavenly realm made you their God of War. You have the guts to challenge me, so you probably do have some skills.”
His eyes became crescents as he let out a soft chuckle. He stood up, his silver hair unraveling to his ankles. He took a step forward, and even the volcanoes seemed to tremble and shake in fear.
“Lucky for you, I’m terribly bored today.” Dong Fang Qing Cang lifted up his burning red sword, concealing part of his face and revealing just enough to see the gaze that could kill behind those hooded eyes. “Allow me to challenge you to a duel.”
“Lord of the Demons,” Chi Di said as her frosty sword took its position. “Underestimating the enemy is a strategist’s greatest mistake.”
Dong Fang Qing Cang’s face broke into a smile. “Only the weak make mistakes.” The light behind his blood-tinted eyes glowed faintly, and his fang-like canines seemed to emit the same fiery light with an intensity that treaded the border of insanity. “And I have no such qualms.”
The primordial Demon Lord and the “Protector of the Wastelands” Chi Di battled, causing the world to lose color and disrupting the order of day and night. Even the stars and time itself were affected. But it was also in this battle that the unbridled Demon Lord fell to the blade of Chi Di. Since then, her name and glory spread far and wide, and Dong Fang Qing Cang was dealt a blow he could not recover from. In the end, the gods and adepti came together and executed him.
The people of the demon realm were then driven to the wastelands, and have since disappeared into obscurity.
“Did Dong Fang Qing Cang die?”
“He’s an immortal being and doesn’t reincarnate. His soul will never disappear, so when the time is right, he will return.”
The orchid sitting in the dish waved its little leaves in distress. “Then when will he come back? Master… I’m afraid of death…”
“We won’t let him come back.” Si Ming lifted her brush to write another fate. “I, along with the Heavenly Emperor, the current God of War Mo Xi, the guards outside the Southern Heavenly Gate, and even the fairies that came to water you yesterday won’t ever let him return. So rest assured, you won’t die, okay sweetie?”
While she was listening to her master retell the story of ancient times, Little Orchid Lan never once thought that she would one day see the Demon Lord come back to life and return to the three realms. It was even more unthinkable that she would find herself face to face with this primordial demon lord, waving and staring blankly at him.
But never in a million years could she predict that she would one day confront the eternally youthful, omnipotent, and endlessly evil big demon guy… in his own body?

Okay, so Baal’s trailer basically solidified for me that all the archons being named after demons isn’t just a coincidence or some really interesting Easter egg.
I know we’ve already been making theories about Tevyat is upside down and shit since for ever but I want to take it a step farther. I think there’s a chance that Celestia is a warped version of hell, assuming that other ‘gods’ *cough* demons *cough* live there and the Abyss was/is a warped version of heaven. And Hu Tao’s story quest could imply that there is a warped version of purgatory that you can find on Tevyat. DISCLAIMER: I’M AWARE THAT THIS IS AN INSANELY HUGE REACH AND A LITTLE INACCURATE LET ME LIVE
Venti is able to speak to Davlin, Barbatos(the actual demon) is known to give the ability of speaking to animals. Barbatos is also regularly depicted with four king sounding horns. He has four kings as companions. Venti has The Four Winds. Davlin holds the label King in his title so we’re going to assume the other three beings hold the same title.
Zhongli, my beloved. Demons and contracts have been a trope since forever. There’s no need for explanation on that part. Morax(the actual demon) is explicitly stated to have a vast knowledge of precious stones. The name Morax also means ‘that delays’ or ‘that stops’. Zhongli has ceased being a archon. He has also ceased or delayed the creation of Mora with his ‘death’.
Ei is the one who struck me the most(haha struck, lightning, I’m sorry). Her symbolism is the most outright to me. She’s associated with visions excessively. You know what also has a vision? Eyes. Her elemental burst shows a giant eye. Which leaves me to believe that the Statue with visions is supposed to represent eyes imbedded into its wings. Also the eyes on her ‘halo’ that she often has. Looks kinda

like a corrupt biblically accurate angel reference, there, buddy. Also we know that Ei is not the original electro archon. Baal(the actual demon) is stated to have many versions of himself that have been worshipped in the past (kind of a reach). He also has a giant house on a giant mountain, above a city that he flashes lightning from after he kills another god so there’s that reference.
Long story short, me thinks the ‘gods’ aren’t just named after demons for shits and giggles. They’re actual demons and Celestia might be hell.
DISCLAIMER: I KNOW THERE MIGHT BE INACCURACIES, I LOVE THEORIZING AND IT MIGHT HAVE MADE ME A LITTLE DELUSIONAL. THERE ARE ALSO HIGH CHANCES THAT FUTURE LORE WILL SPIT ON THIS POST AND CURSE ITS FAMILY LINE WITH STUPID, TAKE IT WITH A GRAIN OF SALT
