I don't think we will have a virgin Colin as many fans are hoping, both the trailer and cast hinted that Colin seem to be more "experienced", but I also don't think they will show him with other women like the article said, they most likely will hint that Colin had been a bit of a rake when he was away in his travel ( probably during conversation with his brothers) and leave it at that.

See, that I’m okay with. In my head, during his travels, Colin would probably have a dalliance or two. The show has shown that in that era, men’s reputations didn’t hinge on their virginities like women’s did.

I just hope that the writers prioritize the characters they’ve established for multiple years and don’t cheapen their personalities for shock value.

I just don’t think there is enough time for Colin to be doing all the stuff. The only way that it would make sense to me if it was a brief flash before he returned to England.

From the promo pics, we have him returning to England, going to the ball, Pen telling him off, him coming to her (and apologizing?), agreeing to help her, coaching her, balloon thing, more balls, looking at Pen with longing, and etc.

That doesn’t even count all the time spent on the Cowpers, all of the other Featheringtons, the other Bridgertons, Francesca (and possibly John), Ben (and his stuff, possibly Sophie), Kate and Anthony, and the Queen and Lady Danbury.

Yeah, that was another thought I had. How could they possibly squeeze it in with such a packed season?

If they wanted Colin to be a rake I think they should have done that in s2. I don’t really wanna see them shoehorn that into s3 alongside falling in love with Pen ☹️

Exactly. I get this is Bridgerton and it’s not terribly deep but we don’t need the same cliché of the guy being a rake every season. That’s never been Colin’s character.
