hi, sweetpea! i’m glad you like them. they’re probably one of my favourites to write. they do definitely end up with a kid. or two, actually. in my head, the first comes about six months later (or, i guess, that plus nine months) and they’re ecstatic. jungkook’s the best dad. he’s a doting father. sets his away message on his emails as “learning how to be a good dad!” while he’s on leave. always wakes up for the baby, even if yn says it’s okay. he’s involved all the time and happy to help. sometimes yn finds it adorable, other times she just needs some peace and quiet to rock baby back to sleep and he’s hovering about. they get better at it as time goes on, though.

(if we’re talking when they’re older, it’s honestly more of the same. jungkook tries hard to be involved in all things, doing drop off and pick up duty. volunteering for any events. he’s the cool hot dad that people watch as he drops off his best boy. yn always makes appearances too, though, and as their son gets older, she tries to guide jungkook to be a little less helicopter - because he is, even if it’s in the best way possible. by the time he’s in his teens, he has a younger sister and yn sees it all over again. her adoring partner and their watchful son. but she always has their daughter’s back, and doesn’t mind being the one to remind them it’s okay to just be sometimes. yn and jungkook try to walk the line of friend and parent, but the latter tends to overreact a bit more, leading yn to be the one the kids go to with problems and secrets. at least first.)
