My helix took like 2 months to heal e the right daily care, just make sure to clean it often and change it every 2 days if the earring tarnishes and cover your ears when spraying anything!! Dw it's definitely gonna be worth it

cell fusion ☆ wen junhui x gn!reader friends to something, the "there's only one bed" trope (0.5k)

there are two beds in this hotel room.

this is the conclusion you reach after a painful few seconds post-entrance of rubbing your eyes, blinking, then refocusing on the generous centimeter of space between them. no matter how many times you look, your beds are still engaging in a painful reenactment of cell fusion.

jun, unperturbed as ever, marches forth and dumps his bags onto the bed nearest to the door.

you think about going back down and asking for a different room, or for some furniture rearrangement, but you've already spent so much time in the lobby trying to check in that you don't feel like bothering. plus, you know that if you mention it, jun will huff and act offended all week.

it's decided then, you suppose.

you stare at the duvet while jun takes a shower, seated in the plush armchair by the window and soaking it all in. after a few minutes, he emerges from the bathroom, fluffing his hair with a towel then laying it on the floor.

before your eyes, he flops onto the bed, sighing in satisfaction. your lips curl into a smile as you watch.

after four slow breaths (you count, but it's hard not to, with the way his back rises and falls dramatically) jun shifts to look at you.

"hey," he calls in a whisper. "when are you gonna sleep?"

you open your mouth to say in a bit, but his pupils are huge, staring at you unabashedly like a kitten, or a cyclops, so you have no choice but to stand and shuffle over to to your side of the bed molecule.

as you climb beneath the covers, you hear him murmur a quiet "good."

"what are we doing tomorrow?" you ask, shifting so your arm can rest under your pillow as you face him.

"shua wants to go to this omakase place, i think."

you hum, letting your eyelids flutter shut.

"jetlagged?" he frowns.

"there's no time difference," you chuckle.

"tired, still." jun yawns into his shoulder, then continues, shifting a little closer. "traveling always makes me sleepy."

"a little, yeah," you surrender, and he clicks his tongue.

“give me your hand.”

after a pause, you do, because you assume jun is going to do something junhui-esque, like reading the lines on your palm, or measuring how far his fingers extend past yours.

instead, he laces his fingers through yours, letting your hands rest between you and squeezing every once in awhile. it's like this that you finally fall asleep, counting sheep and the pieces of sashimi you'll eat in the morning and the number of times his thumb traces softly over your knuckles.

so no, you and junhui do not share a bed.

but when you can feel the heat radiating from his side of the room; when you shiver at the unconscious brushing of his arm against yours; when your hands remain interlocked for the rest of the night.

when, in the morning, you catch him "accidentally" bumping into his side of the bed to nudge the two closer on his way to the bathroom, what's the difference, really?

hello!! i just read your fic, “stars on your ceiling“ and i need to say that it’s so so amazing! i love the plot progression, and all the twists and climaxes had me on the edge of my seat! the plot was so interesting, and the imagery you used felt like i was watching a movie. i have no more words but i just really love this fic <33
