Oscars producers promise cameos and surprises for Sunday’s show
LOS ANGELES
With just day to go until the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday, the show’s producers are feeling good about what they’ve put together.
The nominees are some of the best the Oscars have seen, including some true blockbusters like “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie.” Ryan Gosling is singing “I’m Just Ken” during the show. There will be a live orchestra in the theater. And the ever-reliable Jimmy Kimmel is back to host the proceedings for the fourth time.
“We’re really excited about this year,” said Molly McNearney, who is executive producing the show for the fourth time. “It’s a phenomenal year of movies. And we have great movies that the home audience is familiar with, which makes our jobs easier.”
The producers were hired earlier than usual, meaning they’ve had more time to plan and study past Oscars broadcasts to try to home in on what works and what doesn’t. One thing they’ve learned is that if the room is laughing, the audience at home is usually laughing too.
McNearney, who is married to Kimmel, said that they’re focusing on jokes over big, highly produced comedy bits. Kimmel will do his 10-minute monologue to kick off the show and will be sprinkled throughout.
“I think an evening that just makes people feel good is a win,” McNearney said. “Our job as producers is to keep that feeling good moving quickly because it is a long show and we want to make sure people are staying throughout.”
Another thing that works: When the speeches are good and people feel invested in the winners. Last year there were a lot of great comeback and underdog stories, from Brendan Fraser to Ke Huy Quan, which helped. This is not something the producers have any control over, but they are optimistic about the nominees and setting up scenarios with presenters who have a genuine connection either with each other or people in the audience.
“We want everybody to feel included, that they are part of our story,” said executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor. “I hope that we have put another kind of modern take on it that really focuses on storytelling and connection and that the audience in the theater and at home will just feel immersed in the experience all throughout the evening.”
Kapoor noted that the live performances of the Oscar-nominated original songs should be a real highlight of the show too, from the Osage singers to Gosling. They’ve also re-designed the stage so that an orchestra of 42 musicians can be in the Dolby Theatre and seen on camera. And Kapoor teased that the In Memoriam sequence is something they’ve put a lot of time and thought into and that it is poised to tug at audience heartstrings.
“There’s going to be entertainment and lots of surprises and a few cameos and things that haven’t been announced yet. We’re just really excited for everybody to come watch with us,” Katy Mullan said. “The Oscars is one of those last giant tentpole pop culture moments that everybody looks forward to and gathers around that TV set. It’s co-viewing at its best. And we’re in this moment where there’s more interest around these big live moments than there has been in years.”
Their main concern at the moment is that the global audience remembers that the broadcast begins an hour earlier than normal, at 7 p.m. EDT. It’s also the first day of daylight saving time.
“I think people are going to bed earlier and people are very excited, hopefully, that it’s starting at 7,” Mullan said. “It won’t be so late for everyone hanging on for the best picture announcement.”
The 96th Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 10 with the pre-show beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Rain fell on her window pane, it was going to make even more snow that night. She held her mug of hot chocolate that her mother sent from the Philippines, it was the closest to home she would have right now. She sat on the ledge of her apartment with all of her lights turned off and only the soft hum of her Selena Quintanilla record playing in the background.
Her year was fine.
Nothing extraordinary, but fine. She got into NYU on a scholarship for English and her citizenship was finally going through. She couldn’t say much for her parents since they were sent back to the Philippines, but they were happy for her.
She hadn’t met anyone yet, but maybe it was for the best. She took a sip and sighed.
Her cup of hot chocolate tasted like warmth and love. If she closed her eyes, she could imagine the late nights her mother would make this and would heat up some bread or rice cakes to eat with it while they bonded in secret, secret because if her dad woke up-
Well let’s just say he would have eaten everything.
She smiled fondly then frowned.
The only things she had to eat with her hot chocolate were some stale chips, day old rice from her broken rice cooker, and left overs from a gross Chinese place she ate from on Christmas. It made her shudder.
Looking down she saw her neighbor. She was pretty, rich, kind and funny.
“Happy New Years!” (Y/n) said from her ledge.
The girl looked up and beamed brightly. God her smile was brighter than the Rockafeller tree.
“And to you too, neighbor! Whatcha got there?”
“Hot chocolate. Wanna join me?” She asked.
Kate thought for a moment and shrugged, “I don’t wanna intrude if you have family over. It is New Years.”
“You don’t have to worry about that. I had a Zoom call with my parents yesterday.”
Kate nodded, “Yeah… time change and all that. Just give me one second, okay?”
She didn’t actually expect Kate to follow through. But when (Y/n) heard a knock on her door, instantly she regretted even asking! She wasn’t dressed! She was in black joggers and some old Goo Goo Dolls tee. Her hair was a mess in whatever style it was in with her one chopstick she found in the junk drawer.
She opened the door to Kate wearing a stunning black and gold pantsuit with her hair left down and (Y/n) could have sworn she saw an angel.
“I-I didn’t think you’d come.” She said jokingly and let the girl in.
“I noticed you were alone and I couldn’t help myself. So, here I am. Plus you did invite and it would be rude to blow you off…” she trailed off to a ramble and (Y/n) could only laugh.
“Well I’m touched. Come and make yourself comfortable. I don’t have much going on.” (Y/n) walked into the kitchen and made another cup of hot cocoa.
“I brought some food from my…my boss’ dinner. It’s left overs but I thought we could warm up some of this ham, greens, and bread.” Kate came in and set some things down on the counter and (Y/n) looked at her in shock.
“Yea! That’s loads better than what I have…” she looked at the girl then smiled bigger, “Thanks.”
They ate and laughed and at some point they ended up on the couch watching the ball drop. (H/n) had her leg pressed against Kate’s thigh, but she didn’t seem to mind.
“They should have Keanu Reeves do the ball drop,” Kate said as she picked up her cup and sighed.
“Or Katherine Zeta Jones.”
“Or both.”
The girls chuckled.
“For real though! It’s like Middle Aged actresses don’t age! Have you seen Kate Blanchette? That woman could rail me every day of the week.” (Y/n) sighed.
“Yeah but… what about Demi Moore.” Kate smirked and leaned forward a bit.
“Honestly, any woman at this point.”
Their eyes met and (Y/n) swallowed, making Kate smirk even more.
Kate leaned forward and put a hair behind her ear.
“I would have expected you to be at your girlfriend or boyfriend’s place.”
“Don’t have one.” (Y/n) sighed and leaned into her touch more.
“Hm… good to know.”
She pulled back and (Y/n) breathed heavily, using a sip to cover her blush.
“10!”
“9!”
“8!”
Kate looked over at her for a second. She was still drinking.
“7!”
“6!”
“5!”
(Y/n) pulled her cup away and bit her lip slightly.
Was this how things were going to be?
“4!”
“3!”
“2!”
They looked at each other and Kate was first to grab her gently and press a kiss on her lips as the New Year came in and the TV went loud with music.
(Y/n) could feel the smile of their kiss and pressed her lips onto hers more.

This is a very pivotal cosmic luve post were the communication was focused on Emma Watson’s new paradox refillable perfume release. I called it hope because that’s what this cosmic luve communication has brought me. Other themes include asking for permission and asking ‘do you care?’ Before we go into the similarities and why this is pivotal cosmic luve I’ll give an update since last post and give a breif outline of the theory. It seems like we’re picking up right were we left off from last month’s cosmic luve post (coast) because I have “paradox” as a lyric in my song “Vibe on the Wave” which was featured in last months post as a track that is similar to Hailee Steinfeld’s “Coast.” It seems like a roads lead and point to Emma.

To summarize, the theory is that the Earth is conscious through it’s internal dynamo and magnetism which gives it access to your mind, as I talk about in my book “108 The Story of Discovering Earth’s Consciousness” where I cite Dr. Micheal Persinger’s “No More Secrets” Experiments. How would the Earth Communicate? We explore the belief the Earth is communicating through Sentientism which basically states the Earth is communicating through trance (through drugs or rituals) or cosmic randonauting and ‘points of realization.’ Basically the Earth makes you have deja vu or epiphanies about things by highlighting cognition in conjuction with your environment. It seems if she would communicate she would do it through communications of love, like scientists interfering with a birds mating dance.
For more details on this theory from Yummi Yetti’s perspective read the Cosmic Luve July 2022 - Smoke Blunts Response Treatise post. But Yummi Yetti is saying the Sun might take a long time to talk if you check out this TikTok of him hypothesising on how the stars communicate. This is important because one of the theme’s from this month’s log is me wondering if the Sun is asking for permission.
I haven’t wrote poetry in a long time but a couple week back, right before Emma released paradox I wrote a poem where I cried in what I can only describe as a shaman channeling the sun, which is what it’s about. You can see me recite the poem in this casual live about the notes from writing this post. I will leave the written version at the end.

Now, to get into the coincidences, I published “Hey Emma” on April 15 Emma Watson‘s birthday and Emma launched her New Prada fragrance on my birthday August 22nd. It made me feel very happy, special, and seen by Ms. Watson. The truth is though, these coincidences happen all the time and I need something more direct to act. Still it gives me hope.
This made me think about my lyrics “Hope is a paradox, tell me do you care or not?” from my second release “Vibe on the Wave.” This connected lyric of “do you care or not” is also similar this August’s release “Talk to me” (which is about Emma) where I rap “Tell me what you scared of. Tell me should I care, just, tell me should I give up. Tell me is it real love?” So there seems to be a focus on hope as a paradox and asking if you care.

To be clear, hope is a paradox because you need it to motivate yourself to keep going. Especially in the most deperate of times, when nothing is going your way, all you have is hope. But it’s also a paradox because you have to make sure you are not hoping for the impossible. In that same way hope is a paradox bringing us out of the depth of despair but also making us hold onto nothing but the promise of pain, nothing, and failure.
The sun and asking for permission semantics came through first with Emma’s behind the scenes video to her directing debut for Paradox where Emma says “I had to give myself permission” to ask to direct. I want to say that is a semantic cosmic luve communication and Emma is giving me permission to pursue her romantically, but that’s just wishful and schizophrenic thinking.
What makes me think this is a communication from the sun is along with a couple other sun related semantics that I’ll get into, Emma posted a circular artwork on her instagram that semantically reminds me of a sun. In the last month there has also been a new series called “Found” on Hulu who’s cover art I think is semantics pointing to the sun.
Before I go into more semantic of permission I actually think many people would be effected by the sun trying to communicate. It would come forth like cryptomnesia but instead of previously remembering it, it would be a thought given to you by Gaia, Blue, or the Sun. For a deeper understanding watch Yummi Yetti’s quick Tiktok on how the sun would likely communicate. This could be evidence of the sun trying to communicate like yummi yeti described, maybe a sentence takes a week so it’s really a feeling and for the most part we act out local atmospheric and celestial vibes without understanding it’s even affecting us. The result is a semantic communication that is overlooked but resonates within our collective conscious.
Keeping up with other cosmic luves. Selena Gomez just dropped a song called “Calm Down.” The song reminds me of my soon to be released song “Just Like You.” In “Calm Down” she sings “Don’t you ask, you know you’re allowed, allowed,” seemingly giving permission. Selena is saying she can’t promise she’ll stay, consistent with the narrative from her (third) verse in my song cosmic love 2022. The song also has the lyrics “I see this fine girl, for my party, she wear yellow.” This is significant because Emma Watson is the girl in yellow for me. I talk about his in the Feburary 2020 Emma Watson Cosmic Love post.
It’s worth mentioning that in a since deleted post from (probably) 2017 called “The Situation,” I talk about how the music industry was reflecting me and I remember one of the semantic being that the girl in Yellow from Charlie Puth’s “How Long” was (Selena pointing to) Emma Watson. It’s also worth mentioning that when it came out I thought Taylor Swift’s “Calm Down” was cosmic luve about me too.
Basically, Selena and Hailee have been acting as a vessel that leads me to Emma and ultimately Gaia. And by that I mean the cosmic luve semantics point to Emma. I’m also getting the vibe that, in this case, Hailee, Emma, and Selena represent the past, present, and future respectively.
Besides the rhetoric from my cosmic luves about permission I have been trying to get permission from Marcus Lemonis for months. Basically I have a song based on Marcus Lemonis’s business philosophy called “the three p’s” from his show “The Profit.” I have been emailing him and messaging him on twitter for months to years with no response.
Basically I really need his permission and a picture for the song, and I also wanna know if he wants to sponsor a music video or would invest in a project. I have been thinking about this for years. Basically I want to meet him, so I’ve been thinking I would get couch surfers and hang out in the town he lives with the hopes of getting to know the locals and his employees to get him to respond. I basically don’t know how to approach him so he’s not offended, will hear me out, and potentially say yes.
So I’ve been thinking about this and then I saw Emma’s picture, where she doesn’t have make up on and you can see lines on her face with a pixie cut, and I though of Marcus’s wife Bobbi. It seems like the semantic are pointing me to try and get ahold of and ask permission from Bobbi.
This is only difficult and an issue because I don’t have the money to travel. Of course if I had the money I wouldn’t be chasing Marcus, I would be chasing Emma. I would probably be in England trying to meet Emma but I don’t have the money. I’m trying to get to Marcus for a business deal so I can get the money to chase her.
To conclude, like the Charlie Puth lady in yellow picture, it’s worth mentioning that a local cosmic luve sent me a picture that made me laugh on my birthday. Yes I have local cosmic luves, but I just don’t talk about them because their not public figures like Hailee, Selena, or Emma. However, I want to explain the coincidence real quick because Gaia has basically been building off previous semantic and also interjected in this month’s evidence.
I have since deleted the post but when I was in the throes of my schizophrenia I essentially said (in a treaetise about Hailee) that Hailee Steinfeld was semantically representing R. Miller in her song “Most Girls” specifically at 1:49. I dismissed this because I was severely mentally ill until I wanted to contact Master P. Basically I like Master P as a businessman and want to do business with him so I looked up his real name. Turn out his name is Percy Robert Miller. I immediately thought of R. Miller.
If that wasn’t enough, and tying in with the theme and coincidences, Miller recently featured a picture on her social media of a beautiful sunflower. R Miller is a friend and I asked if she wanted to be tagged and a picture of her sunflower picture but she hasn’t responded. With the theme I wanted to ask for permission especially because I think her instagram is private. But keeping with the coincidences, another Michigan female influencer (Megan from Detriot) I follow went to a sunflower festival. And I came across this message about bugs in food featuring a sunflower.
Some other tid bits. “Get a job” is trending from Games We Play, which he has been all on TikTok promoting the song. This came out the same time I quit my job. I decided to “coast” because I’m a year ahead on releases and the song is about quitting your job to work on your music career. Beyonce also has lyrics about quitting your job in her new “Renaissance” album which recently came out.
So basically we have permission or need it. The question now seems to be “do you care?” The “Vibe on the Wave” hook that is similar to Hailee Steinfeld coast is overshadowed and pointing to paradox and by that I mean I hope. Hope coming in the form of Emma‘s product release on my birthday with a theme of the sun, asking for permission, and the throwback lady in yellow.
To end I’ll ask this question. What’s crazier? Someone contacting you because they love you and have something to offer? Or Having a blog that with with your theory about your love for them and never have tried to contact them? I try to contact my cosmic luve’s and the people I talk about here because I think it’s kinda hollow unless I try.
