I spent 8 years on Effexor. My doctor added in Wellbutrin and that helped me get off Effexor once and for all. But no one tells you that Wellbutrin is like the crack cocaine of antidepressants. For me it caused MASSIVE panic attacks, crippling debilitating anxiety, no sex drive, anger, agitation, and depressive thoughts. Thankfully she also prescribed Prozac 20mg. So I stopped taking the Wellbutrin. I just couldn’t do it anymore. I’m on day 2 of just taking Prozac and I still feel way better. Having a little trouble getting back to sleep, but all in all I’m so much better.

I still suffer from extreme anxiety and weekly if not multiple times a week panic attacks. I do try to manage it with deep breathing and calming techniques, but sometimes it just has to run its course. Which doesn’t exactly mesh with having a full time job that requires my undivided attention 50+ hours a week. That last GIF got serious, but it really gets like that sometimes.
