Don't get me wrong, I will NEVER get tired of hearing how much Jem adores his wife and kids, but I want to see Jem from Tessa's perspective. How much she loves Mina, how Jem seems happier and healthier with her, her life in Devon, more of Tessa admiring Jem, Tessa having secret meetings with Lily where they give him more nicknames. Give me Tessa experiencing happy family life again.

This is honestly the best thing I have seen in here. Truer words have never been spoken.

I’m just going to take a moment to talk about the Infernal Devices

Not gonna lie, I have never been so satisfied with the outcome of a “love triangle” (if you could even call it that exactly) in my entire life.  Usually I can at least take a side, you know?  I can claim one as my team and find some kind of animosity for the other one.  But not with this.  Nope.  Will and Jem are both near and dear to my heart.  And I appreciate so much that they didn’t fight over Tessa for a couple reasons.

A) It’s refreshing in a genre rampant with boys fighting over a girl, and a lot of the time, it’s two friends turning on each other

B) They’re damn well parabatai.  They’re essentially soulmates.  No way in hell either Will Herondale or Jem Carstairs would be able to find even the slightest ounce of dislike for each other under any circumstances, and y’all can fight me on that one

But being on both sides kind of sounds like a recipe for not being entirely satisfied no matter what ending you get, right?

Yeah, no.  ‘Cause Cassie Clare is a GENIUS.

Thanks to her, I get both of my ships, and Tessa gets to be with both of the boys she loves.

There are no words to describe how agonizingly beautiful this bittersweet story is.
