The reason why au!michael had to be the one to possess Dean in season 13 is that if Michael had to possess another vessel Adam would be So Fucking Annoying about it. There’s nothing else on the planet that can make him jealous. Every single step Michael takes in Deans body Adam is waiting there just like “That it? We good? Alright let’s go come on. What, you need an official yes again? Yes, yes, yes, Ja, Sì, Oui, Tak. I would say yes in enochian but I think it would blow out the windows.” And Michael just has to sit there like. “The task is literally not complete yet, me and Dean still have the deal.” And Adam just collapses like a widowed housewife from the Second World War. Power imbalance and graceless human nature be damned, Adams about to pick up a crossbow and kill Lucifer himself just so Michael doesn’t have to spend another minute with Dean. He sees Michael possessing Dean as a punishment on Michael because he thinks Dean is that fucking annoying. Adam the type of guy to write “When will Michael return from the war?” In his journal.

Adam Milligan should’ve been the final boss of Supernatural. Betrayed by everyone, furious and revenge-driven, just out from Hell, knowing that his brothers had tried to release him only once (and even then he wasn’t the first choice). The Winchesters had an ex-angel and a powerless nephilim on their side, but Adam had the first Archangel, the Prince of Heaven, completely in love with him and willing to do whatever Adam would want to. Only one thought — nothing more, they don’t need words after all those years spent together — and Sam and Dean would be gone from the face of the Earth. Adam had all the hate, rage, motives and all means to do that. Of course, the main characters always win, they would’ve found the way to defeat him, lock him up for another thousand years, but at least he would’ve done something. Some kind of revenge. Nobody escapes Hell’s most terrifying prison, a place so terrible that demons thought it was only a legend, looking like they are happy with their life, asking only for an apology from those who abandoned them. Lucifer wasn’t always a monster. The Cage turned an Archangel into the Devil. What would it in fact do with a weak human soul?

Michael is not a angel btw, but a winged creature. The only thing better then a medieval AU, is a winged Medieval AU!

Surprised by the two-body-midam? Yes, me too xD Drawing Michael with this face was so strange. I always have this face in mind when interacting with AU midam (reading, rg-ing) but it was still a new experience.

Anyway, I had so much fun with this artwork. It has been a while that I had the time to just exist within a work and sink into details. The outlines alone took 9 hours and I couldn't be happier!

The piece I made for the fifth SPN quarantine Zine! The theme was “witch and familiar”. Check out upcomming projects here: @supernaturalquaranzine I had a lot of fun with this one. Michael is a crow because of that on time a crow was used to show his arrival at stull cemetery. And because I couldn’t do without drawing wings. XD There is a whole story for this that exists in my brain (and as bulletpoints in a Google doc xD) and hopefully I’ll be able to write that fic some day!
