not even a hot take but it makes me mad that people sympathize with medusa for being a victim but call odysseus a cheat for being a victim of the exact same thing.

This is a drawing of my dear British friend @elliotthesmelliot holding a British flag, because he is a little Brit (fun fact, he is so British that he smells the flag everyday!), wearing his British clothes, because he is a little Brit (fun fact, he is so British that these are his only clothes!), drinking British tea, because he is a little Brit (fun fact, he is so British that it is the only thing he can physically drink without getting an allergic reaction!), in front of his favorite place, the British clock, because he is a little Brit (fun fact, he is so British that he actually lives inside the clock!) Love ya, My little British Brit! (fun fact, he is so British that he actually fought in the Battle of Yorktown in 1781 against the Americans!) (Fun fact, he is so British!)

Thanks to the Odyssey, every time I hear a sentence with the word “nobody” in it I imagine it referring to Odysseus. Like haha the Greek hero was there for you during your darkest time? Lmao

This was 7 months ago and I’m still keeping this up
When talking to them I kept accidentally referencing hot coals (what actually happened) instead of soup so I just said I thought about Porcia dying that way a lot because hot soup is a pathetic death so I “headcanoned” otherwise
My friend also made a theory all “What if her soup was actually poisoned with spices but they didn’t have different words for hot and spicy yet” and I had to be like “oh that’s so clever” knowing damn well I made the soup up
I tricked my friend into thinking Porcia died from drinking really hot soup by editing a screenshot of a Wikipedia page (I made a joke about how she died by not blowing on her soup before drinking it and realized my friend doesn’t actually know how she died, so I went with it)
It’s literally in a different font and not aligned with the rest of the text
