what's crazy to me is that supernatural is a whole ass incest show they have father and daughter kissing they have the son calling his mother a babe they have brothers named after their (married) grandparents they have said brothers being soulmates they have big brother and little brother drowning in homoerotic subtext and the list goes on and yet SOMEHOW people still act surprised when they find out sam and dean are shipped 😭😭 like????

If you think The Eclipse has “bad writing” because the kids are protesting over dumb little things like uniform rules boy-o-boy do i have some information for you about the actual real life student led protests that have been going on across Thailand over the past two year that started due to little things like uniform rules and resulted in military police shooting hundreds of thousands of youths with tear-gas laced water from water canons, mass arresting protesters and people simply supporting protestors on social media with even celebrities getting their careers ruined over it.

The Eclipse presents a microcosm view of what happened and continues to happen in Thailand. It’s not about WHAT the students are protesting; it’s about the students not being ALLOWED to protest. It’s about being forced through intimidation and threats and eventually violence to stay meek and quiet and oppressed. The point is that the students make the choice to stand against the suppression of the thoughts, feelings, and voices of their peers. THAT is why The Eclipse is so good.
