So, our “Lung” is on fire.

It is already threatened by huge deforestation, to the point it lost 20% of its width in less than 30 years.

It’s been burning for around two weeks and almost no word has been uttered about it. I, sincerely, have come to find out about it just now. I’m shooketh ™️ because we’re really burning away this planet.

The Amazon Rainforest holds 20% of global waters, it’s an area of incredible value in terms of biodiversity and, nevermind, it’s a crucial climate regulator. Spread awareness, demand help.

Reblog to save his life

This is Rhys, my 2 year old cat

You can do whatever you want with him, he never bites or scratches anyone and he loves playing fetch and sucking on soft plushy blankets

Another cat has bitten him and gave him this bacteria called Pyo Thorax which causes fluid behind his lungs. It's a deadly condition, but thank god my mom and I noticed on time so he's now in an animal hospital where they're cleaning his lungs and

He's doing really well at the moment

Unfortuately, the bacteria won't completely be gone unless the vets do a surgery where they open up his chest and clean every little corner of the lungs so they know that all the bacteria are gone. Then again, Rhys is a strong lil man and he's doing fine so the surgery will, according to the vets, go well and he'll recover like any other cat.

But

The surgery is expensive and my mom, who has all the money for the surgery but planned on spending that money on buying new furniture for the house, thinks

"It's a waste of money to spend it all on a cat"

This is why mom wants to put him to sleep tomorrow

I'm not asking anyone here for money.

I'm asking if you can REBLOG this post to convince my mother that little Rhysie's life is worth the money and it's sad to give up on him because he is already getting so much better and he is just soo strong

Man, I love these guys. This song is to my husband. I have had this on repeat since I first heard it. My hubby has always been there for me and pulled me up from the hell I was in when I was in my early 20s. I’ve always loved rock music because bands like Atreyu, I Prevail, Hollywood Undead, From Ashes to New, Skillet, Breaking Benjamin, Bad Wolves, and Linkin Park put their heart and souls into it and without them, I would not be here.

 Rock and rap solo singers like MGK and Diamante have also made a massive impact on me as well. MGK is the only rapper to bring me to tears aside from Mike Shinoda. Kelly’s (MGK) song Hollywood Whore (don’t judge it by the title) made me remember how it felt when I first heard Linkin Park and when I first met the band getting a hung form Chester and Mike. I proposed to my husband there at the 2015 Hunting Party tour meet and greet a day and time I will NEVER forget. In the song, there are visual and audio elements from Linkin Park’s Crawling video, the audio of Numb, and “RIP Chester Bennington that hauntingly flys across the screen at 2:49 to 2:50. 

Diamante is a badass rocker chick who rarely has a song I don’t like. One of the songs I am fond of in particular is Sleep Walking. Rock music and those influenced by it have a special place in my heart and soul. There are times when I wanted to die and these people old and new have continued to keep me alive. I am doing much better nowadays.
