Herbalist Decor - 4t2 Conversion of Nolan-Sims' Decor

Happy Halloween (again)! 🎃 Here is some herbalist-themed decor for your Sims! Because even at Halloween, it's all about the plants over here. XD Swatches, details and an updated download below!

This set is comprised of 4t2 conversions from @nolan-sims' Simblreen 2019 and Simblreen 2018 collections, and includes two hanging plants (wall and ceiling), four picture frames and two skull planters. I slaved objects whenever possible to save on space, so please be mindful of that if you don't want everything in the set. Also, a few of these meshes are high poly! The skull planters in particular are quite high, so please keep that in mind as well.

I've included numbered swatches for the artwork, so if you're an arachnophobe like me, you can easily delete anything that's too crawly. XD The ones that are numbered "01" should actually read "mesh", since those are the 01 recolors. Whoops!

The frame recolors are attached to files mesh - 05 for these. Please pardon the wonky swatch, there was no other way to do this one.

And the frame recolors are attached to all the recolors for these, which I'm hoping won't be a problem since there's nothing 8-legged here.

@kayleigh-83 sent me a message and let me know there was a problem with one of the herbalist hangs recolors. If you already downloaded during Simblreen, please download again for the fixed version! It was sils_herbalist_hangs_v1_08 which wasn't working properly; you can just overwrite that file. If there are any other issues, please let me know!

Popped Color Curtains - 4t2 Base Game Conversion

Sul sul! I've been wanting to convert these curtains for awhile, finally got around to it today. Details below!

I can never have enough curtains, especially full-length ones. These are the Popped Color Curtains from TS4 base game and they come in 20 colors. I separated the rod and curtains into subsets so I could add a few recolors of the rods as well (they're attached to the mesh and recolors 10-13) and removed the shine. The right curtain is slaved to the left.

A numbered swatch is included so you can easily keep just what you like (just bear in mind the rod recolors if that's important to you).

A successful conversion yayyy (I mean, I even managed to manually fix the bone assignment on the wrists of the AF one)

This one is really a classic and a must-have!

Hinterlands Kitchen - 32 New Items for Your Cooking Spaces

This has been a long time in the making. I originally threw around the idea of a Hinterlands Kitchen back at the end of 2021, but tried as I might, I just could not come up with a design I liked. At the end of 2023, a full 2 years later, I finally nailed the design and the rest came together easily. I love having a another country kitchen design available and i think would look great in the homes of Henford on Bagley.

The Sims 2 For Rent - CC EXPANSION PACK

Last week the Sims 4 got a new pack, this week Sims 2 players get that same pack! In a collaboration with @platinumaspiration and @tvickiesims and a HUGE assist from @episims, we bring you "The Sims 2 For Rent CC Expansion Pack!"

This is a large set, and advisable that it does not get merged even further than it already is! - I ran into some issues when trying to do this!

When you explore this pack, please take a look at the marble ring rug, it has some surprisingly cute rug swatches! I put a swatch in it to remove the marbles themselves, so you have a cute small rug! - I only mention this as I was going to bin the rug off once uploaded, but then I found it had some lovely swatches!

FUNCTIONALITY

So most of the items will function as they should and intended as. Its just not just deco items.

There is two collection files included, separated into build buy! Please note that fences and stairs and spandrels cant be but into a collection!

The squatty toilet that took me over 12 hours to make, yeah they squat, animation can be a bit bouncy but such is life. This toilet also can be flushed, get dirty and is cleanable!

Outdoor plants are seasonal!

Counters are animated with insides built, there is no drawer on the counter, I did not want to change the shape of the unit, and saw EA did the same - ignore the fact they grab something from a non existent drawer

Wardrobes have interiors elements, and have working doors!

Each Kettle have two versions, choose only one, one for the colour traits mod / one 'normal'. They function as Tea makers! Huazzah!

Spandrels in build mode are classified as fences. I made a variant with fence / no fence.

Several of the larger deco pieces such as the Arch Gate, or umbrella are actually lights!

Radiators act like radiators!

The Aircon Unit is completely functional, doesn't lower bills, but it does lower sims temperatures!

"Water Heaters" act like solar panels, they get money off your bills!

The Electrical Fuse box has 2 versions, I kept them both in, one wall deco and one functions as a burglar alarm - I wanted more alarms.

Most Sofas / Chairs have morphs!

Slots added to the Vanity and Bathroom Cabinet!

FENCES / SPANDRELS / STAIRS OH MY!

I have included swatch images of each of the spandrels, fences and stairs and labelled them to match, this is so that you can go in and take out any of the swatches you do not want. This is because there are lot of new fences and the menu can feel cluttered with them in for some people.

Tasteful Tots - Infant Set with 27 Items and 1 Default Replacement

Well this set has been a long time coming. I first mocked up the cot back when Growing Together released, but put it on the backburner while I worked on other things. I finally had the inspiration to finish the set and here we are. I decided to focus on infants and not toddlers but maybe in the future I will revisit and add to this theme. But right now I am really pleased with it as a standalone project.

Once I did a sloppy replacement of Am & Tm Dreadsband blue hair using this AF hair mesh without knowing much about hair defaults - so my default clashed with LeahLillith Lemonade hair for AM. Here's custom version if anyone's interested:

Mel Gown (a mashup & collab with @episims ❤)

So, Epi's Mel needed a wedding gown and we ended up engineering one 😂 It's a mashup of MDP's 4t2 Sifix Angelica dress and Mermaid Side Tie, which uses parts from Jellymeduza's 4t2 Blouse Side Tie. AF only, has all morphs. There are 6 recolors. Texture credit also goes to Freepik :)

This hood is going to take forever to build up. I've still only got the grocery store and magazine/gaming shop finished. I've been working on a clothing boutique, but I struggle with keeping the exterior to theme. The interior is slightly modern looking as far as furnishings go. I don't mind it quite as much, but now I am wondering if maybe I shouldn't have separated men and women's items to their own floors. I like how stuff is set up though, so I probably won't dismantle it. Also just realized I forgot to put a bathroom in. Maybe I could convert the main floor changing room into one.

That said, I'm struggling not to install all the doors and windows known to man. I remembered Veranka's conversions of the bakery build set and grabbed those. Sadly there are no diagonals, and as far as I could tell no one made them.

I kind of want to make a little trailer park somewhere too. While I didn't see any parks, there were a surprising amount of trailers along the coast. Many of them had weird roof designs I've never seen before, which I don't think I can replicate. I don't want it to be run down or anything in that stereotypical fashion, just cute little places. (But can I just say, pastel colored 70's era trailers with carports and palm trees on the front lawn are the cutest fucking things? We saw a bunch of them in Florida a few years ago and I was dying.)

Anyway. Maybe the next thing I'll do is a library/computer lab/logic-focused type place. I should probably get started on homes and families, though.

Ever since I saw this tree house I've loved it and wanted to convert it! I didn't really mind it being just decorative but then I got the idea to try and clone it from the SuperTower from GoPlay! (that playground thing children sims can climb onto) and make it kinda functional? 🦊

Well, it kinda is! Your simmies will climb onto it and their fun will go up, but unfortunately due to the way it was built, you won't be able to see much happening inside. Also, since the SuperTower has 4 ladders on 4 different sides and the Tree House has only one, only sometimes will the children climb the actual ladder and not the invisible one. 🐌

Soo, if you don't mind all of these specs and would like to have it in your game for fun and cuteness purposes, here it is! Big thanks to @tvickiesims for extracting the mesh for me. 🦝

It has 8,376 polys and one swatch. It can be found in Hobbies > Recreation. The file's been compressed, enjoy! ♥

I realized yesterday that the chances of me reinstalling Simcity to make a map weren’t very high, so I started looking around. While it’s not really as rural as I want, I found a terrain that is smaller and will work well enough. Of course then I felt like I needed to change my terrain and road defaults, because I couldn’t imagine sidewalks everywhere.

Why did I not try the rural charm defaults sooner? It already looks so beautiful with absolutely nothing on the map!
