*Tales forum flashbacks* That it's the best Tales game. Maybe not the most popular or even my favorite (though close), but definitely the best crafted all around.

idk if she's a good example but, Musee, kinda? Like, she did slaughter a bunch of random villagers for funsies(*), but it tends to be pretty much glossed over because the X2 writers decided to treat her as comic relief (even then, her comic relief antics are... concerning to say the least)

(*) yeah I know it wasn't just for funsies but she did seem quite gleeful about it

Which is a shame tbh bc I loved villain Musee, she had quite an edge.

This isn't exactly what I had in mind but I really wanted to draw Weylin with all five magic rings. They're artifacts in the game that allow you to use (from left to right on my pic) Fire, Life, Cure, Blizzard and Thunder at all times, without needing a magicite. The pink one? It's just an error; Esuna ring doesn't exist lmao.

Then you have Holy, Gravity and Meteor rings that are new in the remastered version, but I haven't included them here. Although that's pretty cool too. Especially Meteor that you couldn't normally cast (unless you have one of the Selkie's ultimate weapon... <3)

The default ring design is the Fire one. I went slightly "creative" for the others. =P

Finally finished my Lorelei Day fic! (I'm only a month late, it's fine)

Lorelei/Yulia, Not Rated, about 2k words. One brief mention of suicide, but other than that, no warnings. It started as a shitpost about tone deaf people but then I got too invested in the Lorelei/Yulia side and here we are.

Oh boy I'm the worst person to ask this question to because I tend to have the opposite view (not finding the appeal in fandoms' fave hotties).

So I honestly don't know... all characters I consider hot are usually seen that way by the fandom at large as well.

That Gaius was planning to destroy Elympios. He wanted to destroy their spyrixes, not the whole country. Idk who decided to spread this misinterpretation as fact but seeing it repeated on wikis or tvtropes drives me up the wall.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

See above (tho idk if that counts as 'everyone' lol). But speaking of Gaius, I can't stand ship stuff where he's portrayed as (genuinely, not like as part of play) super dominant/pushy/rapey. Like yeah he's pretty intimidating and looks like he'd be the type if you only have a very surface view of him, but considering his history I can't see him not being really careful about the power dynamic. Plus come on, he's a big softie deep down (one good thing of X2's portrayal of him is showing more of that side of him). Tho again idk if that counts as 'everyone', just that I've seen it often enough to dislike it...

💕: What is an unpopular ship that you like?

Gaiwin, tho it's not popular due to small number of ppl actually interested it rather than people disliking it.

For the latter, Jumilla. Like I can get preferring other ships and stuff, but the amount of vitriol it sometimes gets when it's such a well-balanced, mutually respectful and caring couple is sad to see. It's also not much of a threat to other ships considering the ending (on top of being rather low-key on the actual canon romance stuff aside from a few scenes here and there), so I don't get the need to put it down to prop other ships up :/

ifk if it counts as theory, rather than headcanon, and idk how popular it actually is, but I disagree with the take that Mithos is an adult just bc he's thousands of years old and has an adult form. He froze his growth at 14, and I think it's obvious he hasn't matured at all despite the long life. Cruxis Crystals shenanigans and all that.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

That she's useless or annoying or a bad match for Lloyd (three guesses as to who my fave is)

💔: If you had to remove one major character from the series, who would you choose?

Hmm, it would change the story a bit, but as much as I like him, I feel that removing Regal wouldn't have too much of an impact. So him ig? Could probs say the same about Presea but she's cool so... :p
