Happy New Year guys!

Thank you all for an amazing first year on tumblr! This year hasn’t been easy for anyone - but being here and sharing this with all of you and being able to live through my sims, well it has made my year a whole lot better.

I especially want to give my thanks to @luckiselki @honeythefangirl @kaleidodreams @theshove @mclennonism @a-midnight-luna , (and more) for beeing extra supportive and keep making me happy for beeing here. I've allways enjoyed building, ever since I was a child. I don't think I've actually played with my sims this much before but building is still my favourite. Especially to recreate builds like my Grand Budapest hotell, the house from Call me by your name and the house from Parasite... those were so much fun and the perfect combination of prestige free creativiy and my neverending passion for scenography. Sims really is a happy place for me and it's a delight to share it. (I might ad I'm allways open for request)

Happy Birthday to Victor! 

Yuuri sneaked out of bed and went downstairs before anybody else had woken up. It was Christmas today and he knew Victor was excited about it - but Yuuri had something else on his mind. Victor, and only Victor. It was Victor’s birthday and nothing mattters more than the love of his life. Therefore, he wanted to surprise him and - even if only for a brief morning hour - make it about him. 

And guess if Victor was happy? Yes, yes he was. The luckiest man on earth, in fact.

Christmas stay over

Victor and Yuuri are spending (an untraditional) Christmas in Russia and are staying at Lilias apartment (since that’s where both Yurio and Yakow are living) and Victor promptly wanted “the whole family to be gathered!”. They could have spent their nights at Victor’s appartment, as Yakow pointed out, but Victor was determined. “This is our first time celebrating Christmas this way and the first time I’ve had a family to do so with, of course we’re staying over!” 

“I don’t get it”, Yurio grunted. “he’s Japanese- not some American or whatever. Why are we changing it for him?” 

“Don’t be silly Yurio! As I said, it’s a family thing and we’re going to have so much fun!” 

Yuuri leaned to whisper in Yurios ear as Victor, full of excitement, began to carry their bags up the stairs.“He may have seen a little bit to many American Christmas Rom-coms and gotten inspired...”

So, here they are. Yuurio is a bit grumpy, as could have been expected, but Christams is getting closer and my boys are ready! (Even though Victor isn’t loving the inflatable mattress...)

A Christmas on Ice - Act two

(part one, casting)

Out of a broken heart and a desire for revenge - The evil magician (Georgi) decides to capture the spirit of love (Mila) and by doing so, stealing away love for  everyone. 

In the blink of an eye, the beautiful prince is gone and Victor is left in despair.

Luckily! A poor errand-boy (played by Yurio) saw it all go down and decides to help. With the quickness of his mind and swiftness of his blade - he succeeds to trick the magician and with the help of Victor, finally defeat him, freeing the spirit of love. 

And there he is ones more, the man of his dreams, the man in is heart. And they skate together - happily ever after (and adopts Yuurio.) 

The end!

Christmas on Ice - Act one

They’re in an ice show! I had so much fun with this and I have taken more screenshots than ever before… so it has been a rough process of selecting and killing darlings… but I am okay now - hope you will enjoy it! But wait!! There is a story too! I wrote shortly about the casting in my last post, and I guess it´s kind of enough information there to get the picture. After all, it is a cliché Christmas-love story. But no harm in me being a bit of a narrator anyway. SO, prepare yourself for a story of love, longing and revenge, that most likely will have you “aw”, shed a tear and fear for your life. Dramatic!

Story:

Victor is a young, handsome man whit all he could wish for - except the one thing he longs for the most: love. Something his strict parents (Lilia an Yakow) does not understand. What they want is for him to be successfull, (maybe take over their family business? Idk, doesn’t matter)

One day an enchanting prince (Yuuri, ofc) from a land far away, comes to this certain town and bewitches the most beautiful man (Victor) who is easily swayed. Mila is the spirit of love (and why not even the spirit of Chirstmas - it is a Christmas show after all.)

But in the shadow lurks darkness - and an evil magician, portrayed by Georgi! The magician is mad out of a broken heart an simply can’t stand the sight of the young couple so deeply in love - what will happen?? Let’s find out - in act two!

Haha, I know my writing skills aren’t the best. English isn’t my first language and I find it quite difficult - but hey! Hope you enjoy my little story anyway. <3

Let me present a teaser poster for my upcoming: A Christmas Ice Show - by the Russian figure skating team!

Featuring: Mila Babicheva as the magical ice princess who also is the spirit of  love. Yuuri Katsuki as the handsome prince from a foreign land, who comes to a certain town and bewitches the most beautiful man (whom is easily swayed), performed by Victor Nikiforov. Yakow Feltsman and Lilia Baranovskaya in the roles of his rich and grumpy parents. Georgi Popovich as the evil magician who wants to erase all love - as revenge out of his own lost of love. And finally: Yuri Plitsetski as the poor errand boy who nobody expects to be the one who saves the day.

How about that? Pretty good right? I would looooove to see this in real life! Haha! My favourite thing this time of year, is to watch the Christmas ice show at the funfairs Christmas market. I guess this is some kind of mix between previous years A Christmas carol and the Swan lake…
