Though, his canon story from BC & CCFF7 is greatly acknowledged and the survival verse of this blog highly follows FFVII Remake continuity.

That thing.

The same weird thing that had followed him since he escaped from the mako tank. The hollow creatures that was untouchable but could sway him not to hit the trooper in front of him. The one that it's mass could make a dome of huge city on his sight and exploded.

He had no idea. What he knew is they hindering him to reach Midgar.

And now, he couldn't just stand to see them bugging her. But how could he pass this unseen gate? How could he approach her? She's just close in an inch, just like the moment he walked down the wasteland as he sensed something next to him. He just let it pass because he wasn't sure what it was--a familiar sensation, but it's enough to make him smile as he imagined her face already since Midgar was on the eye.

Now he knew it was her passing him by.

'I'm on my way' Seems easy to be said than done.

But he had to fight this destiny, right? He always fight against 'em just not once! It's frustrating but he wouldn't give up. So he brandished his sword, hoping it cut the barrier and brought him to her side. He put all of his power to this swing up to the limit.

“HEEEAAAAAAAAAH~”

It contrived a wind slash, a big one that look like a mini hurricane swep out the surroundings in one blow. And from behind the dust, he came shielding her with broad blade.

Aerith shook her head when she heard Zack’s voice. She felt so LONELY right now, and she was surrounded by those Whispers of Fate. How could she hear him ? She heard the voices of her ancestors sometimes, but this time felt different. Maybe it was because Zack wasn’t a Cetra. She still had felt him, when he had returned to the Planet. How could he talk to her ? And how could he be on his way ?

She stood, trying to use her magic to deal with the Whispers around her. “Zack ? Where are you ? How can I hear you ?” She asked.

Be My Valentine, Aerith

One thing Zack memorize ‘bout Valentine’s Day... 

Midgar would be full of a certain color, a heart shape, and fancy ornament stuff; a weird view when all seems forced to be romantic in an instant–a minor annoyance since it makes him want to flirt and ask a girl to be his valentine for a day. Just one date! But he has no one. So, he forgot if it existed till he walked down town and see pink everywhere.

But that’s not after he met this girl.

Her characteristic merged every feminine in one complete package. Her giggles were pure and her love for flowers was classic, but still, she wanted a pretty ribbon for her hair. Not too camp it up not too underrated, average but adorable; giving your heart a desire to be a man she deserves. Building three carts is just a simple case. Tho’ she wasn’t that weak. She could be spunky, but still feeling safe more with him as a woman who reflects the need of a man to be a hero for her. And it was him.

Wait, still one thing remained so she’d be perfect, looking good. 

She's dressed in pink!  So she would stand out already. And that also means, she is always his valentine.

Also, he loved food. So he think he would get chocolate cookies she bakes with her mom, but he lied he didn’t want it from her. Aerith herself was priceless and it already make him speechless. It wasn't just a little desire only for dating her on this special day, nope!! He wanted to…

Treasuring her, dancing with her, kissing her, just spending one night with her. Even more in the future!!

Not build a family yet, Mom, he could hear his mother’s voice asking that. But don’t worry, it’s already on his mind.

Speakin’ of Valentine’s Day…

He imagined he must be the opposite of dudes looking for special gifts they need to buy for their girl. Such an advantage already! Yes, he would teach ‘em how to treat a special lady in their life; handed her flowers! Though, he dunno if she already had an idea to gain money for this circumstance. But hey, she could arrange a bouquet and he would help her. Not to mess it up!

Special day, special order, special price… good.  It’d be a very successful day for selling flowers. 

And in addition to attract more customers, he’d love to make an effort for decorating the wagon again to be cuter. It was also about promise--a dream, as they could share their happiness to be together and to see other people in Midgar in joy with their loved ones too thanks to the flowers!! And as the wagon being empty, wallet becomes full, with all sunshine and clouds above covering ‘em up; wouldn't it be a perfect date? Perfect day, mhh?

Speakin’ of Valentine’s Day…

He was now in somewhere area that far away from her. Three months seemed to have passed and it meant he had yet fulfilled even a single word he had vowed… to make her happy, to make her not wait too long. He wanted to see her smile right on his face, with a gloves hand swirling over her brown bangs; this mouth would begin to speak.

So many phrases, so many feelings; but he had learned from her 23 tiny wishes how to summarize ‘em up in one sentence. Just make it straight!!

Sounds cheesy, but it’s true.
