𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑏𝑒 𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛
a greenflame royalty au (oneshot)
“Kai!” The blond screamed from the floor, staring up at another man with defiance in his bright eyes. “Come down and face me!”
Lloyd inhaled slowly, dusting off his outfit as a nervous habit. His heart raced, a rhythm not unfamiliar to him, and he found himself longing for the floating feeling sleep brought him. The plan could not fail though, the entire kingdom was relying on him and him alone, so he could not rest until he was done.
He hovered in the doorway, the silence in front him weighing on his ears. There was no turning back after this. Lloyd glanced to the black-haired man behind him, feeling a tad bit more at ease when his brother rested a hand on his shoulder as silent support.
From the throne above Lloyd, Kai sat. His eyes were narrowed into a sharp glare, his legs crossed lazily yet with a tension only Lloyd could recognize. He felt nothing at the moment, an aching void in his chest waiting to be filled.
“I do not regret anything,” Lloyd thought, though to who he wasn’t sure, as he began to climb up. Kai would not come down to him.
Even then, the man remained motionless, his eyes following Lloyd’s movements. Hesitating for a heartbeat longer, Lloyd gazed down at his love — although he had doubted that word at first, he now knew it was still true. With a soft sigh, Lloyd met Kai’s eyes, extending a gentle hand to cup his cheeks.
“What—” Kai’s voice was quiet, broken, as he flinched back from Lloyd’s touch.
Lloyd didn’t let him go, though, his hand following Kai’s movements. He took a second to summon his thoughts once more, before beginning to speak, his thumb tracing over Kai’s features in a familiar way.
Encouraged by his brother, Lloyd carefully entered the room, a hand at the sword on hilt. Spotted nearly instantly by the guards, he dropped into a defensive crouch, his gaze on them careful yet challenging. They charged at him, and he raised his blade — not to kill them, no, merely knock them unconscious. These people used to be his friends, after all.
With bodies scattered beside him, Lloyd rested a hand on the doorknob, sucking in a breath. He heard footsteps behind him and turned his gaze, watching his brother step over the bodies with a face of amusement. Shaking his head slightly, he turned back around, finding himself silently stalling after a beat.
“You’re scared,” his brother whispered, his voice oddly serious. He came up to Lloyd, and the blond felt a tap on his shoulder. “Look, I’m not usually one for emotional support, but you can do this. He loves you — as gross as that is.”
Lloyd couldn’t help the dry laugh that escaped at his brother’s words. “You know, Morro, you should really work on your pep talk skills,” Lloyd muttered, though nodded his thanks and stepped back to open the door. Here goes nothing.
“What are you doing?” Kai’s voice was harsh, unnaturally so, and it made Lloyd’s heart ache.
“Shut up for a moment, will you?” Lloyd muttered, not at all meaning the harshness of his words but regretting nothing.
He leaned in after a beat, his lips meeting Kai’s. Lloyd’s other hand reached up to trap Kai’s face when he tried to pull away, and he resisted the urge to wince when he felt a tear slip from his own eyes. He missed this sense of familiarity, of closeness, of home.
“This isn’t you,” Lloyd whispered finally, breaking the kiss to gaze down at Kai. More tears were filling his eyes, blurring his vision, but he persisted.
“You’ve gone blind, you forgot what you have,” Lloyd continued, his voice cracking and not at all romantic. Oh, how things have changed. “You don’t need all this power, you don’t need more land, you need a home.”
“And I want that home to be with me,” Lloyd paused, taking in a shuddering breath. He suddenly felt the pain he’d spent months repressing, and he had to bite back a sob. “But — but if you want someone else, that’s fine too, just please come home.”
When he blinked away the blurriness to look back down at Kai, he was met with a similar sight — Kai was staring at him, trembling the slightest bit with wet cheeks. He looked lost and absolutely vulnerable, amber eyes dark with the loss of so many.
“Lloyd, I —” Kai whispered, unsure, and Lloyd cracked at that.
“Its okay,” Lloyd rushed, voice shaking, and he moved his hands to pull Kai into an embrace. The brunet’s head rested on his chest and he cried, tangling his hands into Kai’s hair as if that would keep him there.
“I get it, I really do, you’re scared,” Lloyd continued, not even really paying attention to what he was saying. “They're telling you lies, you don’t need power and land to be king. You taught me that, do you remember?”
Lloyd let out a humorless laugh, his head tilting back. Kai was quiet, but after a moment he tugged away from Lloyd's grasp. The blond jolted, fear burying a sharp hole into his gut, thinking he’d lost Kai again. But his fears were proven false as Kai pulled him close again.
“Why are you doing this?” Kai muttered. “Why are you bothering, despite all I’ve done?”
“Because I love you,” Lloyd replied instantly, without a second thought.
“....Thank you.”

How do you cope with Sanji being obsessed w women while loving zosan. Does watching the show just blow for you? I know it does for me, its just so over the top some times
i choose to interpret sanji as bisexual and trans but REALLY repressed.
oda forgot how to write sanji because he has brainworms and is an idiot. my solution is to just ignore the parts of canon that i dont like, especially because those parts really do feel so out of character LOL… honestly sanji pre-TS (especially early sanji) was an excellently written character who was just regular sexist instead of super gross sexist. instead of developing sanji’s character and helping him overcome his ingrained sexism, oda just completely lost that early characterization along the way because of his compulsive need to write nosebleed jokes about disrespecting women. (his brainworms….they’re killing him)
but yeah i absolutely get what you mean. i just cope by interpreting the show/characters the way i think they Should be written rather than how they’re written in canon, because i honestly believe my interpretations are better. sanji’s character gains a lot more depth if you view him as struggling to accept his sexuality/gender after an abusive childhood that was reinforced with ideas of toxic masculinity. also zoro is just fucking gay, no two ways about it
unfortunately theres no way for me to assassinate oda and write the rest of one piece, but i make do with my own ideas and my friends in the OP fandom who contribute really good ideas and headcanons as well :)

i think what i'm most excited about with the live action series is how different it's gonna be.
like, obviously, it's live action, so there's limits on what they can do in terms of the crazier stunts, places, and people. the actors will have their own mannerisms and quirks they'll add to the characters that will make them distinct. it looks like it's gonna be a bit more grounded and less cartoon-y. but most of all, it's just so so so much shorter.
season one looks like it's gonna cover all the way up to loguetown, which was original a little over 100 chapters and 50 episodes, in about ten episodes. that's a lot to cover, and while they're gonna have to cut a lot of stuff, i'm so curious how they'll condense and change the story.
(it makes me wonder, with oda working with them, if it'll resemble oda's original plan for the story, which was gonna be much shorter than it ended up being. though, we won't know that unless oda says something).
it's just going to be so different than the original one piece, and that makes me really excited, cuz it'll kind of be like watching one piece for the first time again.
needless to say, i'll be ready to burst into tears

Law watches Luffy as he sleeps. He finds it so calming how peaceful his partner is when he is asleep. How his rubbery arms are wrapped around him, keeping him in place as he buried his face into Law's chest.
It used to annoy Law when they were first dating. But now, ten years later, ten years after he got together with Luffy, he loves it. Law loves to be held. Luffy's strong hold on him reminds him how much he is loved, how much he is protected.
He loves me. Law would always think gleefully as he watches Luffy sleep on his chest. Law hugs him and holds him back just as strong as Luffy holds him. He never thinks that he could ever show Luffy how loved he is as equally as Luffy shows him love. But, Luffy knows that Law loves him eternally.
He sighs dreamily. Out of all people, he chose me. I feel so honoured.
Before they got together, he was so worried that he would loose him. He eventually lost everyone he loved, with the exception of his crewmates. But Luffy was his special boy. He couldn't stop himself from falling in love with this ray of sun.
When he first felt feelings, he tried so hard to get away. But he couldn't. He admitted defeat and ran into Luffy's arms.
Luffy reassured him, "Torao, it's okay, I won't die. Even if I do, I won't ever regret meeting you. If I die soon I don't care. Because I'll have the pleasure of loving you my darling."
The thought of anything happening to Luffy scared Law a lot. He had nightmares sometimes. He hugged the boy tighter. Luffy was Law's own personal teddy bear. Law loved to cuddle. So nighttime was always his favourite. Secondly, was the morning. The morning when he woke up in his partner's arms. His Luffy holding him close, like a promise.
He wondered often to himself, would his parents be proud of him? Would they really? He was a pirate, he killed people, he was bisexual, he got tattoos all over his body, he screwed around before he met Luffy, the list went on and on.
Would they like Luffy?
Would they still love me?
Are they mad that I'm the only one that didn't die?
If they are then they are probably are upset with how I spent my life.
Law hated being alone with his thoughts. Honestly, he loved it and hated it all at the same time. It really depended on what he was thinking about. Right now, he hated it.
Almost immediately, Luffy reached up to touch his face, "Hey, go to sleep, you're thinking so much, I can hear it." He whispered to him, in a loving yet stern voice.
Law turned to his love, his beautiful man that he calls his boyfriend, "Yes dear," He joked with him. He turned onto his side and held Luffy to his chest.
He got so, so lucky.
And with that, they fell asleep blissfully.

The Nightmares we dream
@lawluevents - Day 8: Hurt/Comfort / Memory @onepiece-bingo: Blanket fort
Alternate summary: there is so much trauma in this boy
[ Read on AO3 | series ]
—————
It was hot.
So incredibly hot.
It felt like the fire that had engulfed his parents’ hospital was licking at his skin as well, scorching his tiny, ten year old body black—just like it did to everything else that stood in its path.
Law couldn’t breathe. Why couldn’t he breathe?
He gasped, trying to get some oxygen, only for it to turn into a coughing fit. Ash was filling his lungs, the heat burning him from the inside out.
Blinking, Law tried to look around himself but there was too much smoke and his eyes were stinging, filling with tears he couldn’t stop. With a shaky hand, he tried to rub at them, to clear his vision a little but he startled at how wet and slimy they were.
With a frown, Law’s eyes turned down to look—only to scream at the sight of blood dripping from his fingers, the red staining his pristine white skin tainted with amber lead. He screamed, except his voice wasn’t coming out. And yet, he continued screaming voicelessly, to the point his throat hurt.
Was he covered with blood?
Why?
What happened?
He couldn’t remember.
“Brother…”
Law’s head whipped up at the quiet whisper. He had to squint against the bright, so painfully bright and blinding fire but finally, he managed to find the small figure standing in front of him.
Lammy!! he cried—but his voice still refused to come out.
He reached forward, trying to grab for her but she was too far away, just out of his reach. He tried to stand up but his legs gave out the moment he tried to put weight on them, making him fall into a heap on the ground.
Lammy…
Gritting his teeth, Law forced himself to look up, his eyes searching for his little sister.
“Law.”
Mom?
“Law.”
Dad!
“Why didn’t you save us?”
Law froze, his breath hitching in his throat.
“Why were you the only one who survived?”
I… I tried to save you! I was only a child, what more could I have done?!
“Law.”
Law turned around quickly at the new voice coming from behind him. Cora-san! Where are you?!
“Torao.”
Law frowned. Who was this?
“Torao!”
Another person he loved—and whom he had failed? Another person who died because of him? For him?
But then, why couldn’t he recognise the voice?
“Torao!!”
Law gasped, his eyes snapping open into the darkness of the captain’s cabin in the Polar Tang. His breathing was laboured and he was covered in sweat, clutching at his blanket as if his life depended on it.
Exhaling deeply, he raised one shaky hand to rub at his eyes. He winced when he realised how wet his face and hands were—he almost expected there to be blood when he glanced at his fingers. After all, he could still smell the smoke from the fire, taste the ash, feel the heat. Flevance had happened so many years ago and yet, it still felt so real…
“Torao, are you okay?” someone next to him asked quietly, uncertainly.
Funny. In his dream, Law couldn’t place the voice at all but now, it was almost ridiculous how easily he recognised it. And even more ridiculous how it immediately grounded him, both his heartbeat and breathing slowing down to a calmer and healthier pace.
“Straw Hat-ya…” he sighed as he forced his body to relax. When would these nightmares stop haunting him? “I’m fine, just a bad dream.”
Straw Hat hummed thoughtfully and when Law looked at him, he wasn’t surprised to see him chewing on his bottom lip as he studied Law’s expression. It was too dark to be able to tell what to look in his eyes was like… but Law didn’t have to see it to know it was full of worry.
Law huffed, the corners of his lips twitching upwards. “Don’t hurt yourself thinking so hard.”
He expected Luffy to puff up, to grumble about Law being mean and how he wasn’t thinking that hard… but for some reason, Luffy did neither of those things. It made Law curse the darkness of his room—he had no idea what was going on in Luffy’s mind, unable to see his eyes or really gauge his expression.
“Okay,” Luffy simply said after a long while.
Law was grateful he didn’t pry. He didn’t feel like talking about his stupid nightmares—about Flevance, about Lammy and his parents, or about Cora-san. He knew Luffy would just get angry at the World Government and Doflamingo if he did—like he always did whenever Law told him even a little about any of his past—but more than that, Law simply didn’t have it in himself to talk about any of it right now.
He just wanted to grab a book and distract himself from the ghosts of his past. After all, this wasn’t his first nightmare; he was used to sleepless nights, used to staying up with nothing but a cup of coffee, dim light, and his small library.
The only thing he wasn’t used to was someone else being there to see it.
“Go back to sleep, Straw Hat-ya,” Law said softly as he himself sat up. The least he could do was to take his anxiety elsewhere.
Before he could even pull the blanket off, however, Luffy’s hand closed around his wrist. Law paused, glancing at Luffy questioningly… to which Luffy’s grasp on him only tightened.
“You’re gonna leave and stay up all night again?” Luffy asked, and Law could just hear the pout on his lips.
“Go back to sleep,” Law simply repeated instead of confirming it… or denying it. There was no point, after all. They both knew the answer anyway.
“No.”
Law startled at the tone. It almost sounded like Luffy was scolding him, while also begging at the same time and Law…
Law didn’t know how to respond.
Thankfully, he didn’t have to when Straw Hat continued only a second later. “Stay here. I’ll go make you your coffee—”
“Please don’t,” Law said automatically. He still remembered the last time Luffy attempted that and used so many coffee beans that the resulting beverage was basically a murder weapon.
“—and we can make a blanket fort and cuddle while you read. And hey! Sanji taught me, okay?!” Straw Hat finished.
Law couldn’t help the chuckle that made its way past his lips at the unhappy addition at the end. He could just picture the adorable frown that was undoubtedly gracing Straw Har’s face as he said it. Law wished it wasn’t so dark in the room; he wanted to see it.
He wanted to kiss it away.
Not fighting the urge, Law leaned forward, pressing his lips to Luffy’s in a quick kiss. “Fine, let’s see if anything stuck from Black Leg-ya,” he mumbled against Luffy’s mouth.
A wide smile spread on Luffy’s face then, present still when he kissed Law back before he jumped up, ready to run off. “Yay! Get the fort ready, I’ll be right back!”
And he was gone… but not before turning on the light on the way, causing Law to wince and close his eyes at the sudden brightness.
When the door shut behind Luffy, Law basked in the silence for a moment. Suddenly, he realised how calm he was now. As if his nightmare didn’t happen, as if his memories were back in the drawer in his mind where they belonged instead of spilling all over the floor, slowly drowning him.
Of course, they were still there. They would always be, Law knew. He didn’t want them to disappear either, didn’t want to forget.
But…
As long as breathing became easier, as long as the weight he carried became lighter, he would take it.
Inadvertently, Law touched his left arm, his fingers tracing his soulmark like his mother used to do when he was a child. He still didn’t believe a soulmate was a blessing—hell, his own was a menace more than anything—but maybe, just maybe…
That was enough.
And when Luffy came back with a steaming cup of coffee that smelled like liquid heaven and had the perfect amount of milk, whining about the lack of a blanket fort that Law didn’t bother making—but still smiling like the idiot he was, shining brighter than the light above the bed… Law wasn’t even surprised at the warmth that spread from his stomach through his entire body.
Yeah, this was more than enough for him.

@lawluevents - Day 10: Pirate King Luffy AU/Confessions @onepiece-bingo: News Coo
Alternate summary: can't hide shit from Morgans...
HAPPY LAWLU DAY!!

—————
Stretching her arms over her head, Nami sighed in content. Peaceful days spent sunbathing in the Sunny’s garden were always the best.
“Caw!”
Nami paused, shielding her eyes carefully before she turned her eyes upwards, looking at the sky… just before a bundle of papers the News Coo dropped fell right on top of her head.
“Hey! I don’t pay your insanely expensive subscription to be treated like this! I’ll sue!” she threatened.
She only got another “caw!” in response. Somehow, it sounded to her like the stupid bird was laughing and she was so going to have a word with its employer.
Clicking her tongue in annoyance, she grabbed the tightly wrapped papers, trying to untie the cord in a way that didn’t tear the news inside. She really should go grab some scissors. Who the hell tied this thing?!
She barely managed to finish the thought when Robin’s hand grew right in front of her, bearing the very scissors she so needed. Huffing out a small laugh, Nami thanked the archeologist who didn’t even move from her chair or so much as put her book down the entire time Nami was struggling with this stupid News Coo delivery.
The moment Nami snipped the cord, the tightly rolled bundle unfurled and Nami winced at being greeted with her own face smiling seductively up at her from a brand new wanted poster. Why did it keep going up? She couldn’t even collect a single berry from that stupidly high bounty… At least the picture was cute, she supposed.
“The boys are gonna get so noisy again,” Nami groaned to no one in particular. Maybe she should hide these, at least for a little while. Just hold on to this peace a little longer…
Quickly sifting through the stack of wanted posters for both their and Torao’s crew, Nami barely paid attention to the numbers—even their previous ones were stupid high, what did a zero here or there matter anymore? She would never understand why the others always made such a big deal about it. Except maybe Chopper and Bepo, the poor boys deserved to finally get some recognition by now; even Nami felt bad for them.
But then, she reached the end of the bounties and instead, a special report came to view.
And Nami completely froze, staring at the headline with wide eyes. She read it over and over and over again, trying to wrap her head around it but failing.
STRAW HAT LUFFY—THE NEW PIRATE KING
It really said that.
It really fucking said that.
“How?!” Nami cried loudly before she could stop herself. “What the fuck kind of sources—?! We literally left the island two hours ago!”
“Oh my,” Robin said with a chuckle, undoubtedly peeking over Nami’s shoulder with an extra pair of eyes. “Morgans’ quick. He needs to introduce me to the souls of the dead who report to him. I could use them as well.”
“Not now, Robin,” Nami groaned. She had hoped to get in one shopping trip before the world blew up but no.
Not only did the world get turned on it’s fucking head four times over in the span of the past maybe two months—and then eight times more once Robin pieced the poneglyphs together—now she couldn’t even buy some nice clothes in peace.
And judging by the hands that appeared like omens or disaster on the railing right next to her…
She was not not going to even get to enjoy one quiet, sunny afternoon.
—————
“Torao! Look!!” Luffy called, bursting with excitement as he propelled himself away from the garden and back to where Law was taking a nap with Bepo. He felt a little bad about the way he crashed right into the two of them, but he was just so giddy!
“Fucking—What the hell, Straw Hat-ya?” Law snapped once he got his bearings.
“Sorry. But look!” Luffy repeated, shoving the special report he stole from Nami in Torao’s face.
Luffy watched expectantly while Torao read the headline, his eyebrows furrowing more and more with each passing second. Well… that wasn’t a reaction Luffy was expecting.
“Torao?” Luffy tried.
Law was silent for a second longer before he slowly opened his mouth to speak, his eyes not leaving the paper in Luffy’s hands. “How the fuck does Morgans know we’re soulmates and why the fuck does he think we’re getting married?”
“Huh?” Luffy blinked a few times, tilting his head to the side. What was Torao talking about?
As he looked at the paper in his hands, he finally noticed he was holding it out backwards—the front with the headline announcing him conquering the Grand Line was facing towards him… which meant he was currently showing Torao the backside.
The backside, which was apparently also the front side with another bombshell headline.
Slowly turning the paper in his hands, Luffy quickly skimmed the announcement on the other side.
STRAW HAT LUFFY TO MARRY HIS SOULMATE, TRAFALGAR LAW
As he read the words over, Luffy hummed thoughtfully. “Oh, is this because I was planning to ask you once we got to Sabaody?”
“Excuse me?!” Law asked, full of shock, but Luffy didn’t pay him any attention.
“Who cares about that, look at this!” Luffy made sure he was holding the paper right when he showed it to Torao again. He was grinning so wide his cheeks were starting to hurt.
“Did you seriously just casually blurt out you were going to propose to me only to follow that with ‘who cares’?” Law asked flatly, his eyebrows shooting up as he stared at Luffy over the paper—and not paying attention to what was written on it, goddamn it!
“Torao~!” Luffy whined and raised the paper higher. “Pay attention!”
With a resigned sigh, Law finally turned his attention to the most important thing—only for his reaction to be completely underwhelming.
“You needed a newspaper to tell you were the Pirate King now?” Law asked in a tone that sounded so very unimpressed.
“This makes it official! Torao, come on~” Luffy said, a large pout on his lips as he slumped forward, sprawling himself over Law’s lap where he was leaning back against the still sleeping Bepo in a half-sitting position.
At that… Torao finally laughed, the sound light and easy and sending vibrations through Luffy’s body. Ah, Luffy really could enjoy this little moment forever…
“Sorry, I’m joking,” Law huffed, his body still lightly shaking with amusement when he leaned down to press a small kiss to Luffy’s temple. “Congrats.”
“Why are you so mean, I hate you,” Luffy huffed—but his grin made it back on his face full force and he giggled happily. “Thanks!”
Luffy almost had to stop himself from purring when Law’s hand found its way to his hair, running through the strands carefully, fingers lightly scratching his scalp. How did Law do that? Was Luffy turning into a cat now?
Oh well.
Leaning into the touch, Luffy felt himself relax completely. This really was the best day ever—the ending of his dream was within sight, he had the best ship and crew to see it through with, and he had his Torao right next to him.
The only thing that was missing was some meat and—
“The answer is no, by the way.”
“What?” Luffy asked with confusion, turning his head to the side to gaze up at Torao.
“To your proposal. I’m not going to marry you,” Law explained, closing his eyes momentarily. “Who put that idea in your head anyway?”
“Sanji and Penguin,” Luffy replied without hesitation.
Law rolled his eyes. “Of course,” he said with a sigh. “Look, do you even want to get married? Do you realise you’d have to stand there for the ceremony while the cake was right there and you weren’t allowed to eat any of it?”
Luffy paused while the information processed in his head. Damn, he really didn’t think of that…
“Yeah, okay.” Luffy nodded to himself decisively. “Can we just skip to the party?”
At that, Law laughed again, shaking his head as he ruffled Luffy’s hair. “Yeah, sure. I’ll ask Black Leg to make a fancy cake and all.”
“Yay!” Luffy cried before a snicker forced its way past his lips. “As long as you’re happy, too!”
Law rolled his eyes. “I feel like we’ve had this conversation before but you’re literally my soulmate and I love you so what the hell would we need a wedding for? Not to mention the World Government is basically on fire right now, who even has the authority to do weddings as it is?” Law asked in a tone that suggested he wasn’t looking for an answer before he added, “Also it’s just way too much of a bitch so yeah, I’m happy as it is.”
“Okay! No bitch ceremonies,” Luffy said, his voice shaking with laughter at the way Law clicked his tongue at the teasing remark.
And when Luffy pulled Law down to his level, the both of them smiling into the soft kiss they shared… Luffy decided not to mention this was the first time Law told him “I love you” directly.
After all, Law showed his love to Luffy every day in the way he smiled, the way he always left enough room next to him when taking a nap with Bepo, the way he brought out his precious Sora, Warrior of the Sea comic collection from the Tang’s safe storage space so that Luffy could read them.
He showed Luffy he loved him in all the little things, all the little moments they shared—just as Luffy did for him.
And Torao was right; they didn’t need words, a wedding, or even their soulmarks to know it.

LawLu Week 2023 Roundup
I wrote something for nine of the ten days of LawLu Week 2023. Here’s a recap:
“Hold Fast to Dreams” (PG-13 | 3K for the prompt “Soulmates”): Law was nine the first time he had a dream that wasn’t his own. He was in a forest on an island he’d never seen before—the plants and trees were the wrong color for one thing—and he was running from an old man he called Gramps, only the man had looked nothing like either of Law’s grandfathers.
“A Fleeting Moment (When the Sun Can Kiss the Moon)” (PG-13 | 4.3K for the prompt “Sun and Moon”): Once upon a time, the Sun fell in love with the Moon. Fairy Tale AU.
“The Heart Asks Pleasure – First” (PG-13 | 2K for the prompt “Promise”): When Luffy was certain Law was looking at him, he said, “Take my heart.”
“What?” Law asked dumbly. There was no way he’d heard that correctly.
“Take my heart,” Luffy repeated, leaning forward. Though they were still a few feet apart on the balcony, Law suddenly felt like Luffy was looming over him. “And I’ll take yours.”
“Hurricane Heat in My Head” (PG-13 | 2.9K for the prompt “Possessive”):  Five times Luffy didn’t like the way someone was looking at Law and one where he did something about it.
“Healing Hands and Healing Hearts” (PG | 1.4K for the prompt “Healing”):  Law might be a doctor, but Luffy, Law realized with a sudden flash of clarity, was a healer. Law had put Luffy physically back together after Marineford, but Luffy had put his own soul back together. And, two years later, he’d taken one look at Law’s pain and had extracted the poison from the wound that had been festering in Law’s soul for the last thirteen years.
“My Heart in Your Hands, My Hands around Your Heart” (PG | 1.9K for the prompt “Hand Holding”): In Luffy’s lowest moment, Law takes Luffy’s hand and promises that his story will not end.
In Law’s lowest moment, Luffy takes Law’s hand and promises the same.
“Your Heart, Broken in My Chest” (PG-13 | 3.6K for the prompt “Hurt/Comfort”): Luffy was far from an expert at having someone else’s heart in his chest, but he was pretty sure what was happening with Torao’s heart wasn’t normal. Follows “The Heart Asks Pleasure – First.”
“My Heart, Fragile in Your Hands” (PG-13 | 2.3K for the prompt “Reunion”): “I failed them,” Law whispered, and it felt like a confession—like at church in Flevance. Confession was supposed to absolve someone of their sins, right? He doubted there was a god anywhere who could absolve him of his. And yet, he confessed at the altar of Luffy. “They were my responsibility, and I failed them.”
Or, Law wakes up in the Sunny’s infirmary after Winner Island. Follows “Your Heart, Broken in My Chest.”
“Our Hearts, Made Whole in Each Other” (PG-13 | 2.3K for the prompt “Confessions”): Luffy cupped Law’s cheek with his hand, softly grazing his thumb over a yellowing bruise. “Torao is so pretty,” he said quietly, a note of awe in his voice. Law flushed. “Torao’s heart is beating so fast.”
“Yeah,” Law agreed, swallowing. “It is.” Luffy’s, despite a few flutters, was beating steadily in Law’s chest. Law, on the other hand, felt pinned to the spot, one hand holding Kikoku and the other in Luffy’s grip.
“You should stay.”
Law blinked. “What?”“
You should stay,” Luffy repeated. “On the Sunny. With me.“ Follows “My Heart, Fragile in Your Hands.”

I've been following a very nice fanfic called And Then You Smiled for a long time, honestly I had a lot of unfinished things and I even felt that I had no more inspiration to keep drawing. But this last chapter made me feel so much that I wanted to draw the last scenes. I recommend it, it's very good! I'll I leave you the link to the fanfic I mentioned, I hope you like it as much as I do. https://archiveofourown.org/works/44942911?view_full_work=true

Another late night thinking
mentions of smoking
its been a bad night for you, just general depression and bad thoughts for yourself so you decide to dress warm and go for a walk, despite it being very late and cold. you head your way down the street toward the beach. its not that far, but far enough for youe thoughts to run wild. your nose is pink and freezing as you walk alone, holding your arms to your chest to keep as warm as possible. you make it to thw beach front and stand watching the dark waves.
you pull out a cigarette and a lighter, putting the stick in between your lips. you bring the lighter up, but your fingers are too cold to properly use it. its a struggle but you eventually light it. only then do you notice another person standing near you.
you're taken aback, heart beating with fear at this stranger until your eyes focus and you recognize the man. its a boy from your school, Jotaro Kujo? hes also smoking a cigarette, leaning against the brick wall of the public toilets. his eyes pointed directly at you.
you both stand in silence for a moment, he takes a drag of his cigarette while staring at you, preparing to make a move if necessary. when he takes a look at your build however he relaxes.
"sorry i didnt see you there" you say shyly, already turning to walk away
"no need" his voice was deep "smoke wherever you want"
(makw the rest up yourself im so tired and cold i go sleepy honk shoo mimimimi)

'Devil child '
My concept of Mihawks backstory since he has none. Disliked by people in his village who viewed him ass odd and scary, if not a monster. Many looked down on him because he was born out of wedlock. His mother died in childbirth so the nuns at a church took to raising him. Rumors spin out of control, and he ends up being viewed as a sort of devil spawn.
