I am logging back on just to let you all know how pissed I am at this.

This is disgusting. It actually made me want to throw up. It's so sad and exhausting to live in a world where privileged straight white males keep on winning all the time. When are they ever going to suffer the consequences of their actions?

I cannot imagine how his victims are feeling right now. I hope scientology doesn't come after them. I hope they are safe, and I hope they have a strong support system.

I am legitimately sad.

Yes, I am!! I'm not posting a lot because my computer is broken and I hate using mobile to post things (I get insecure about grammar mistakes because I don't have Grammarly on my phone, lol), but I do visit my tumblr feed every single day through my phone.

I really miss you guys though, so I'm thinking about doing an ask game soon (and pretty please ignore the grammar mistakes that I'll probably make).

this is very random but do you have any music that has been used in a fic (a sad one) and you can't listen to it without thinking about that fic and it makes you cry or feel something? this really is random lol but i definitely can't listen to the 1 by taylor swift without thinking of a folklore inspired fic about jackie and hyde. 1/2

2/2 The fic had only one chapter and it was never finished but that single chapter destroyed me and now I can't listen to that music without wanting to cry lol I'm so dumb. Out of time by The Weeknd is another one that makes me think of a j/h edit I saw on twitter. PS: I miss your fics :)

YES!!! I was listening to "Wildest Dreams" by the queen herself while I was reading a very (very) sad J/H fic once, and now every time I listen to that song I find myself thinking about it and tearing up.

And I think I know which story you're talking about because I also can't listen to "the 1" without getting sad too.

Dude I was a couple chapters behind on Flash of the Blade so I got caught up last night and it gave me this huge burst of motivation to write my demon fic. FOTB is so fricking good!!! I was so invested in the story, I can't wait to read more whenever you post it. And it got me so excited to write my demon fic I wrote a whole chapter, lol. So thank you for the motivation and your fic is incredible!

(Also if you see that I just followed you, that was an accident. I clicked 'unfollow' on my way to send you this ask, lol. Did not mean to do that.)

This made me SOOOOO happy!!! Sometimes I feel like "Flash of the Blade" doesn't get as much recognition as my other stories even though I've spent countless hours dedicating myself to writing it, so... yeah, reading this made me really fucking happy. I'm so glad you're liking the story and I can't wait to see your reactions to the next chapters.

Cats can be mean, sometimes, but that doesn't mean I love them any less. I mean, I can maybe hurt a fly, but not a spider... Kate (panicking): Spider? Did you say spider? hi!! how do you feel about "that '90s show"? it's really happening right now. I'm going crazy and I can't believe it affects me so much and it's just a fucking sitcom lol

I feel annoyed, lol.

But that's mainly it. I'm not angry or sad, I'm just annoyed that they're (probably) going to ruin T70S even more than they did on s8 and give bleak and disrespectful storylines to the characters I grew to love so much.

I'll just completely ignore T90S as canon, like I tend to do with s8. The multiverse is real, the new spider man movie proved it, lol. So just pretend that that's what T90S is -- a weird story with people that look like the T70S characters and have their names but aren't really them, taking place in another universe.

But hey, I guess everything has a bright side, because all my annoyance towards the spin-off is giving me plenty of inspiration to work on the TSG sequel and that's nice 😅

I already have the entire plot and timeline on my docs, plus about 16k words of dialogue and random scenes that popped into my mind. I just have to write more scenes and then put everything together, but I'm not gonna lie, it's probably going to take a while.

My computer broke a few weeks ago, and that affected both my fanfic writing and my fanfic reading.

I have no clue of when I'm going to get a new computer because I literally just bought a new phone a month ago, but I'll find a way, trust me.

For now, I try to do most of my writing right here on my phone. It's not ideal and I'm not writing as much as I did before, but I did not stop writing and I guess that's good.

Anyway, don't worry about T90S so much! If it sucks, you'll always have amazing stories by amazing authors that you can pretend it's canon. I always do that whenever I remember s8 exists, lol.

I just wanted to say that I've watched Scream 5 this Saturday, and I'm still shocked. The movie was amazing.

I know this has nothing to do with t70s but honestly, the movie was so great that it inspired me to add even more things to my scream au story. I'll probably add a few more scenes to the chapters that are currently posted because I need some more subtle ✨foreshadowing✨, and I'm going to change a few things about the killer and their motives.

I'll let you guys know when I finish editing the chapters.

Well... I'm sorry, but this kind of made me a little sad.

RYLH is a story that I love writing, I truly do, and I'm not going to stop it, man. RYLH is my happy place, writing it makes me happy and I really enjoy the character arcs I have going on in that story. I think I've managed to keep everyone in-character even though the story is an AU, and I have a pretty nice and fun storyline going on (at least I think I do).

I do not feel the same way about WTLB. WTLB was the first story I've ever published, and my writing style is really different than it was almost two years ago. I can't stand writing in first person anymore, and I would've made different choices about the character arcs in that story if I was writing it today.

I'm not saying that the plot of WTLB is bad, not at all, is just that... I'm working on another story that deals with a conflict similar to the WTLB one, and I can't help but think that the story I'm working on it now is so much better than WTLB.

Now that I have a deeper understanding of the characters, and now that my writing improved, I don't feel like writing WTLB anymore. At least not for now. I can see myself getting back to it one day, so the story is not abandoned. If one day I decide to never write WTLB again (which I don't think it's going to happen), I'm not gonna leave you guys hanging, I would post what would happen in every single one of the chapters here on tumblr and I would post every dialogue and every scene that I have sitting on my drafts.

But again, the story is not abandoned.

Anyway, I'm really sorry you feel that way about RYLH, and I'm sorry you want to see more of WTLB, but... There's nothing I can do. If writing RYLH makes me happy, I'm going to keep doing it, even if everyone stops reading it, because I love it, and in the end, that's what matters the most, isn't it?

It's fine that you don't like Twilight or the plot. However I got to defend my girl Bella. The main criticism People make of her is that's she "weak" "boring" or "awkward" One of the things I like about Bella is that she looks and acts like regular teen. Her outfits aren't over the top, she doesn't wear excessive amounts of makeup. And yes Bella is awkward. But most teens are. As for weak, I can't agree. I'll explain why in my next post.

Why i don't think Bella is a weak character. When Jacob kissed her she shut it down immediately. When Edward wanted to kill himself out of guilt for leaving Bella. Bella stopped him, even though she didn't think they would be together again. When Edward tried to stop her from seeing Jacob she didn't put up with it. Is Bella the best character ever written? No. But I don't she's the worst.

I never criticized Bella's looks, and I've never said she's awkward, I just said that I think she's an idiot and that she doesn't have a personality.

To be fair, yeah, she was very young, and maybe I shouldn't have called her an idiot, so I apologize for that. But I'm not going to apologize for the rest of the things I've said because honestly I still stand by them.

By the way, the fact that she was so fucking young is what makes me hate twilight so much. She was a teenager, and she was dating a 100-year-old vampire. That's really fucking weird, man. I'm not going to get much into that because this would be a hella of a long rant where I would mention heavy things like p*dophilia, manipulation, toxic behavior, etc, and this is supposed to be a fun little T70S blog, lol.

Bella Swan is definitely not the worst character ever written, but she's not a good character either. I just really fucking hate the whole "damsel in distress" thing, and I think she shouldn't be a role model for younger girls like she was back when I was still a kid. She had little to no self-respect and she was willing to give up absolutely everything in her life just to be with a guy, that doesn't sit right with me.

But that's just my opinion, feel free to ignore it.
