Ever since Watching and Dreaming premiered I have been working on a huge 4 hour Owl House retrospective that aimed to cover nearly every facet of the show's characters, writing and themes. After a multi week battle with Youtube and their automated copyright system, I finally was able to get it up.

I have poured everything I have into this heartfelt love letter to one of my favourite shows and would really appreciate any help getting the word out since due to having it out so long after the show ended, I'm aware it'll be at a disadvantage.

Hey y'all, I'd appreciate anyone from the UK signing this petition to allow trans/nonbinary kids to stay closeted from their parents if they're out at school. It's obviously very important that children be able to keep potentially dangerous information about their identity away from their parents, and explore it safely in a school environment.

If it reaches 10k votes the government must respond, and 100k means they need to debate it, but any votes are good for raising awareness and profile.

Loved episode 2. Din being such a dad and going after the droid because Grogu was worried, Grogu just being Grogu (saving his father and looking cool while doing it), the unexpected Grogu and Bo-Katan bonding. It was all so damn good!

But the ending had me laughing my ass off. I thought Din had gotten dragged under by something but no. Man just unkowingly stepped right off into the deep end, fully clothed, and sank straight the bottom like he was a Zog.

So during that entire final scene, I wasn't even paying attention because I couldn't get this image out of my head.

Seriously, give my guy a break! The season's barely started and he's already having multiple near death experiences a week

The Mando season 3 news reminded me I forgot to post about this guy.

I got him a week ago. Found him while me and my friends went out for the day. He was £15 but I've been wanting a Din plush for a while and he passed the Ebay test (couldn't find any listing for cheaper that didn't involve importing him from somewhere else in the world) so I caved.

And here he is with my Disney Store Grogu. Probably will start looking for a smaller Grogu plush to better go with Din (might find one when I go to London in 10 days).

I will buying the new Lego Star Wars for the sole reason of playing as Din and Grogu in a videogame and I'm only about 20% ashamed of that fact.

Don't mind me. Just thinking about how when The Mandalorian returns it's going to be so drastically different from everything up to this point.

We're just going to receive constant moments of Din and Grogu being father and son. Din doesn't have to try and emotionally distance himself because Grogu is now officially his child. No more searching for a Jedi to eventually take the foundling away. We don't have to prepare ourselves for the moment where they'll be separated (like we had been for most of season 2) because both of them have accepted they're a family and belong together. They chose each other and there's no going back!

Sure we're gonna have some trauma to deal with and high stakes storylines (because the show wouldn't be complete without either of those) but inbetween all that the wholsomeness and fluff are going to reach maximum levels. And just knowing that will make the wait a lot easier for me.

Help me! I need more Din and Grogu content in my life. I ain't in this fandom for ships and lore (though nothing against those who are) I just want wholesome (maybe with a pinch of angst sometimes) interactions between space dad and his wizard son.

I've been desperate for 2 weeks and have not found nearly enough to quench me.

Okay I've been bottling this up for 3 days and have to get it out somewhere. So it's gonna be very ramblly.

The ending of No Way Home isn't permanent nor should it be. Not only would Sony never even dream of not bringing Zendaya back but there are several things that tell me this isn't the end of MJ's story.

Ned will be back. That's pretty much for certain considering how the movie opened up so many new possibilities for his character. And since MJ and Ned are somehow still friends she'll be tagging along.

But going back to ending. While it's a good little knife twist the thing that irks me is Peter didn't give them a choice. He did what he thought was best for MJ and Ned by actively going against their wishes. Memories erased or not they wanted Peter to come find them.

On the outlook yeah, the truth would be a tough sell to them. But Peter erased himself, he didn't erase Spider-Man or anything that happened in the past (meaning Spider-Man was still there in DC and Italy and Prauge and London) so if he was able to reveal his identity to them why wouldn't they listen to what he has to say?

If this really was MJ's last appearance then it'll be No Way Home's only huge flaw to me. Taking a character who has always been quite active and intelligent and writing her out of the story in a way that robs her of all her agency.
