This is a super belated Birthday gift to @zlukaka, featuring Shaazgai - one of my favourite characters from her and @luffik 's novel City and the Beast. Saying I adore him is an understatement. Also he is a walking red flag. But then again red is my favourite colour.... The subtlety of elvish social cues and norms might be confusing to onlookers.

Oh also I tried a different look for the invisibility cloak's effect to make it look more "sufficiently advanced technology". And yeah those plants took a long time but were oddly satisfying to paint.

Happy belated birthday to @luffik. I will always be so honored to have made your acquaintance. You are the best! This comic is about two characters that appear in @cityandthebeast, but by now have their own gay side-story nearly finished. Ahriman and Ormazd start out as something akin to enemies. Intertwined with mythology, both of them have their own agenda and pretty opposite characters. One of them is an annoying pest and the other has a stick up his arse (in the eyes of the other). So how did things get like this? I’m sure @zlukaka or @luffik would share some details. You could also check out the first book of their series City and the Beast, which is available for free (link on @cityandthebeast ).

This one’s for my friend @spiritimmortal. Some time ago she made her old OC, Endimion, a character sheet for D&D 5th edition, and has since played him in a few games (as an elven bard). The other guy, Kurkach, one I have a lot of pictures of in my gallery, and he originally started off as an NPC in a D&D 3.5 edition game (later used him as a PC in another d20 campaign and in a homebrew between 3.5e and Burning Wheel). So his appearance is based on the 3.5e version. I haven’t played 5e but from skimming through the books it doesn’t seem like it’s even possible to remake him that version. When we were talking about characters back in the day, I imagined their interactions would be confrontational, but I think their current selves would have a pretty good time chilling around the campfire. Endimion’s pacifism is pretty refreshing for a change, and although I didn’t draw it in here, Kurkach plays guitar in his spare time so they could try out something musical for fun.
