In celebration of the Astro community here and Tumblr (and because apparently some think I am a bitch). I have decided to create a community tag where we answer questions about us, our blogs, astrology and whatever we like and so everyone knows that we’re actually human beings that take time and effort to give you the best that we can.

• I made years ago a post called “Birth Chart as a Kingdom” or something along the lines. I was so proud because it was fully me and based on an idea I had for a story, and also I took a risk and people turned out to love. That’s when I learned that I should love what I write and not write what I think others would love.

• When someone is truly fascinated by what you write and enjoys reading your thoughts. Because to me, it’s me, but to them I am some high mighty being with valuable secretive knowledge. I just feel so humbled, motivated and appreciated.

🌙What were the lows of being an astro blogger?

• When you get that intuition block and when someone attacks you and even threatens your life over a post.

🌙What made you most emotional?

• When people reach out for and help and they basically beg you to help them out. Whether it’s love, friendship, marriage, having children, sick loved one, missing loved one, death.y heart really goes out to them, because I can feel and tell that they literally can’t do anything.

🌙Have you ever stressed over a post?

• Only when in draft. Sometimes you want to create something but you just can’t. I have so many posts that I just sit and look at and just blank. The concept and the idea is there but the content is missing something, lacking or incomplete. But once it’s out, it’s out.

🌙What inspires you about astrology?

• It is fascinating to me how it falls on the line between science and spirituality, and when writing you can use both at the same time. Which rarely happens naturally in most topics and subjects. It’s an outline or a map to who you’re and your life, not a definitive and set in stone plan of how your life will play it. It’s an insight to the future, an indicator of the present and an explanation of the past.

• Zodiacrant is ranting about zodiac signs. It’s a safe space for people to express their opinions about their experiences and opinions about placements and people they know. I don’t know how I came up with it, it just came to me.

⭐️What’s the aesthetic/energy you’re going for?

• I do what I like and I do change up the theme and style of the page and posts from month to month. But generally I love extra in color but few in clutter. I want it to be selected extra stuff rather than pile of many small pretty things.

⭐️What’s the energy you like to give to your readers?

• Light heartedness, Uplifting, Authenticity, Realistic. I want them to feel included and part of the mess that is zodiacrant.

⭐️Which parts of you people can tell by your page?

• I love colors, I love to take my time, Clearly a Gemini Venus, I love to create surveys, reports and get out of the text book astrology.

⭐️Which parts of you are not coming through or you hold back on your page?

• Majority of my personal life, I am a bad online communicator so many people think I am not connecting with them but in reality I just don’t know how to interact online. To me it’s easier in real life. (Big thanks to Aries 3rd, Mars in 9th and Taurus in 11th)

⭐️If your page could be a person, how would it be?

• They will look like a cunt but are actually a caring cunt. Like if they’ll say something, they’ll say it to your face and they won’t entertain behind the back crap so even if they don’t like you, they respect you. And what you see, is what you’ll get.

⭐️What’s the style you love to wear?

• Simple look with a POPPING jacket or/ans top. Generally colorful, modern chic, eccentric formal, 1950’s meets 80’s but in the 21st century.

🗣Which type of posts do you like to do/write the most?

• Astro Notes, because they’re fun and easy. Posts about planets, because I love them and everything about them.

• Honestly, synastry, love and relationships. It’s just not in my nature to focus on them, so it’s difficult to fully tone into them.

🗣What makes you curious about astrology?

• Where does it come from and if it is real. Sometimes, I get those question marks in my head but then someone would interpret something that is impossible to pull out of thin air and I just go “That’s why I love it”. As unknown as it is, it does have structure and brings balance.

🗣An opinion no one asked for?

• I truly don’t know much about anything but tropical charts. It’s what I studied up on and it is what I use. To me astrology is a hobby, even though I am passionate about, I feel like the moment I stepped into Vedic, Persona, Synastry, Composite charts and seen all the astroids, I knew that I didn’t belong there.

• I was born May 4th, on 11:59 PM just seconds before it turned May 5th.

🍊I hate going to the cinema and watching movies. It’s so boring 😭.

🍊I have so many allergies and skin conditions (psoriasis, eczema, allergies to dogs, cats, rabbits, dirt, harsh cleaning products, too much chlorine, the sun and the heat, just to name a few. And oddly enough sriracha.)

🍊I had a psychic reading at age 16 and one of the things the psychic said is that in a past life I was a little Italian girl that perished during the holocaust, but my soul didn’t pass as I became a guardian to my younger sister, which survived. I didn’t pass on until she passed away and now we’re siblings, which I do have a sister one year younger than me and I am very protective of her. The psychic didn’t know I had a sister. I don’t know if I fully believe it but it is one of those moments that made me think, because both me and my sister were always interested in the holocaust and I would spend hours just watching testimonies.

No, I am not a Muslim but I was raised as such 😅. In my family and community, there is a belief that astrology has some truth but not horoscopes, which I don't believe in either, it is considered bad or "haram" because the spiritual side of astrology is part of the pagan culture and is connected to witchcraft. So it's considered a no no, but I like it so I don't care what they think 😂.

Many people believe in it to some extent since it was mentioned in the Quran, most get creeped out by it and are wary of it. I said this before, I am not spiritually interested in astrology but I love it as a culture and a practice.

Thank you to whoever made this question list, because the amount of questions about sex at a young age, highschool, pop culture and trivial idiocy in many “survey” questions is getting out of hand.

I’ll answer the questions but I’ll put them under the “keep reading” so I don’t inconvenience anyone. But I would be very happy and interested to read your answers too.

1. favourite place in your country?

A mall called The Avenues, it's by the bay and is around the long ass tower of the four seasons hotel, which is very beautiful. I love to go there in the morning to have breakfast when I get paid. (Pre Covid of course). It also uses natural lighting and sunlight, and it is built like an outdoor row of stores but they're indoors. It's really beautiful.

2. do you prefer spending your holidays in your country or travel abroad?

The budget doesn't currently allow it but I would love to spend holidays elsewhere.

3. does your country have access to sea?

Yes! It's an island so you got nothing but sea all around.

4. favourite dish specific for your country?

I don't know how to spell it in English but it's like a chicken stew with vegetables and a tomato base. I like to eat it with white basmati rice. It looks like something between an Indian curry and a Caribbean curry.

5. favourite song in your native language?

A song by the Lebanese singer legend Fairuz called "Ana La Habibi" which roughly translates I am for my love. I don't listen to much Arabic music but the love for Fairuz runs in my family.

6. most hated song in your native language?

The list is never ending. There's this one song called (Si Al Sayeed) it is very misogynistic, and I don't like to through words around loosely. It featured Snoop Dog too!

7. three words from your native language that you like the most?

Naseem: Which means light breeze but make it romantic

Hoor: Which means ethereal beauty

Qamar: Which means moon, but the reference is so beautiful people use it as a name or a nickname

8. do you get confused with other nationalities? if so, which ones and by whom?

People think of Arabic people, Middle Easterners, and South Asians as a single entity. Sometimes people think I am Latin too.

9. which of your neighbouring countries would you like to visit most/know best?

UAE is pretty great, other than that the beautiful countries are at war unfortunately.

10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language?

Zaq: Zaq means shit, which can be a term of endearment. Like how people use the word bitch.

Kha'yes: Which mean stinky, and can be used jokingly or in a playful way.

11. favourite native writer/poet?

Their writing isn't for me.

12. what do you think about English translations of your favourite native prose/poem?

It loses alot of it's beauty. English isn't as emotive as Arabic and requires alot of explaining. Especially when it comes to idiomatic expressions.

13. does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?

Envy is HUGE thing where I live. Many people wear the evil eye and do things like saging while chanting parts of the Quran. It sounds so weird now to me after I wrote it.

Other than that, it said that the dead can you hear you when you're in the graveyard, especially on Wedensday.

14. do you enjoy your country’s cinema and/or TV?

I used to, but now it is just a lot of self-centered propaganda.

15. a saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get?

I can't think of a saying at the moment but saying things in an exaggerated accent is considered very funny.

16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?

My country is pretty secluded so we don't have a lot of similar values to other countries and it is more "open minded". (As open as an Arabic country can be.) But there's this stereotype that we're just a country that offers "forbidden" vices, like alcohol and prostitution. And I hate that, because it gives others the illusion that we're basically this island that serves tourists and doesn't have any other importance. Which by the way, many people who live on islands are treated that way.

A good stereotype is that we're very generous and love to eat, which is very true..

17. are you interested in your country’s history?

Oh yes I am. Especially because I don't know much about since it's all kept away in a museum in London.

18. do you speak with a dialect of your native language?

Yes I do. If you speak "correct" Arabic, then we know that you don't know the language. It's like someone speaking to in a musical or a Shakespearian play.

Arabic is composed of dialects within a dialect that is part of many more. So I speak Khaliji dialect, and under that I speak Bahraini and under that I speak Bahrani, and under that speak a Manama Bahrani accent mixed with the urban accent of Isa Town.

It's a very complex language to say the least.

19. do you like your country’s flag and/or emblem? what about the national anthem?

No

20. which sport is The Sport in your country?

Football. (Soccer to all my lovely Americans)

21. if you could send two things from your country into space, what would they be?

Dates and Pearls since we're known for both.

22. what makes you proud about your country? what makes you ashamed?

I am proud that it is one of the more progressive countries in the Middle East

I am ashamed that they still hold on to some old views and beliefs, even in their laws.

23. which alcoholic beverage is the favoured one in your country?

They don't drink here. (Publcily anyways). But I remember some kids tried to get drunk by drinking hand sanitizer in Elementry school. I am happy to say that out of the three of them, only one is dead so far.

24. what other nation is joked about most often in your country?

Saudi cars have letters on the license plate and we always make it a game to spell out the horrendous sound they would make.

25. would you like to come from another place, be born in another country?

Of course I would, but I won't let anyone white wash me.

26. does your nationality get portrayed in Hollywood/American media? what do you think about the portrayal?

Nope.

27. favourite national celebrity?

We don't really have that kind of attachment to celebrities here.

No. Only deserts and the beaches.

No, but there are plenty who do. My town was pretty hood back then, now it's all of a sudden fancy.

Only distant relatives. There are in the UK, Frnace, Lebenon, Russia and the US. My grandfather's cousin family are this rich family that lives in Silicon Valley.

Do you ever heard about outer planets person(OPP) who have more than one of Uranus/Neptune/Pluto dominant/strong ?I did some research and some people said they are the late bloomers,"out of synch" with society.I have Aquarius Uranus/Neptune(both RX) and Sagittarius Pluto dominant,and i feel like i dont belongs to this Earth.What do you think about it?Thanks if you answer🌸

As a Uranus dominant I can relate, it is quite difficult to find your place in this world. And I thought it was a teen thing but here I am 22 and still I don’t belong completely anywhere and it is true when it comes to life experiences, since those planets take a longer time to complete a turn around the sun.

Ignoring the negative aspects of being an out planet dominant, we usually peak more maturely in life, in comparison to reach peak in your teens or in your early 20’s as most inner planet doms do.
