The Silver age with Croly Croul and the other’s back in there early days. before joining together to create the evil organization. That supports the bronze age which is where were at now

Honestly I just like to think that the great seven all retired and are watching the shit go down with theses new villains and the reporter that keeps getting kidnapped like every other day. There’s probably a betting pool amongst them for who kidnaps yuu next lol

Okay, Imma level with you here, folks. Back in this ask, when I said that my initial instinct was to have the Great Seven be like famous, rockstar-level supervillains in the past, this instinct was fueled by a small quibble I had.

Because I think it would be cool for the Great Seven to be hanging out somewhere in the modern day too! Just being retired and watching all these shenanigans of the new generation go down while being neighbors with their old nemeses and cheating at bingo on Sundays.

Except for Maleficent, she’s in the senate because of fae looking deceptively youthful and finding it adorable that Malleus is going through the same supervillain phase she went through.

There are just two small quibbles my brain has with that though:

1. Do the Great Seven fit in narratively into this AU if Crowley and his league of evil are supposed to be one of the highest evil organizations in this world? Or would their physical presence be largely extraneous? In other words, would they add to the experience of the AU or take away from it?

2. Would it be weird for people to use “Great Seven” as an expletive/emphasis if the Great Seven are still around to hear it?

Like we don’t really say “Oh Queen Elizabeth” or “Great Sarkosy” or “In the name of G.W.Bush”, so I was worried doing something like that here might break immersion a little bit.

However, I can’t truly know unless I ask.
