Yep! More Ascendance drawings. I'm on a roll and need more practice with the tablet. XP This time we've got Schwartz and Weiss. I thought it's be relatively simple. I was wrong. There are not a lot of refs of the shumils and their cloths. Even less that has the embroidery clearly. I'm with Rozemyne, drawing the designs was enough. Sewing it all woulda killed me.

I hope I can keep on this roll. I wanna get Rozemyne and Ferdinand done, but I'm struggling to figure out what cloths to draw them in. Especially the tiny gremlin. She has too many different outfits!! Maybe I'll just go with the High Bishop robes?

So I got a new tablet for christmas and I need to start practicing with it! It's... kinda weird right now. Gonna take a while to get everything right. I figured for now a good simple drawing can also include something from the series I'm currently obsessed with.

Ascendance of a Bookworm!! And specifically I drew the best highbeast to ever exist, the cutest Lessy!

Seriously, if you haven't watched it, please watch Ascendance. Or even better, read the light novel! I can't explain just how excited I was when it was announced finally that we're getting a new season!! I need to draw so much stuff for the show before con season next year. XD;

So I know in the past I've posted little pics of my ttrpg characters I've drawn in MagicalPouch's emote meme. But not only have I done more, but I've also made this all look pretty with character names and what race/class they are.

Things I've learned? Apparently I just... never make human characters. I'm not shocked or anything, just amused that there are zero humans here. I also really like coloring eyes. It's just really enjoyable.

I'm also really happy about the variety of character looks between everyone mostly. Aurixel and Kimbra look the most similar, but I think that's just the hair. Amusingly the two who are related by blood look very different. Fiadh is a descendent of Leilani. How many generations we never really decided, but at least a few.

So July is apparently always a busy month for me. Art fight can be such a struggle, which I feel bad about. x.x In the end I wanted to do at least one attack, so I ended up doing this for shinyotachi, aka the mod for @askbookwormflareon a blog and artist I've been following for years. XP And if I was only gonna do one attack I wanted it to look nice. Hope you like it Savvy!

These more chibi cute animals are fun to do! XP Since I did the foxes first I knew I had to make some red pandas next of Karu would never forgive me and just pout. Hehe. I’m super happy with all of these, but the 4th one is just my fav outta them cause all I can hear in my head when I look at it is a cute little ‘Rawr!’.

Another Niflheim tiefling! This time it’s a Metalfur, Shavaun. She’s actually the niece of one of my characters from the old version of this world setting, Vii. The other fun thing when I was making her was her class. While she’s a monk, her subclass is a homebrew that Karu and I built. She creates metal strings with her ki that can be used in both combat or utility ways.

So one of the fun things about the ‘World of Midgardia’ setting that Karu, I, and a couple others in our friend group are doing is how we treat tieflings.

The tieflings in this world are all demons from Niflheim, and there are a variety of types with their own characteristics and cultures. Lupe here is what’s classified as a ‘Sharptail’ aka a mutt of different clans. For them it’s Terntail (a multi-tailed animal being) and Blackhorn (a clan made obvious by two pairs of horns and for full bloods often hooved feet).

Lupe is a wizard who works to combine magic and technology together, and can often be heard yelling and arguing with their mechanical tressym familiar, Glitch.

Old character, new design, and art that I shoulda posted last year! XD Yeah I can be bad at this sometimes, huh?

This is Hikali, a leatherwing tiefling and demon of niflheim. She’s lived in  niflheim castle, isolated from the outside world her whole life. Very shy and struggles with her anxiety and doesn’t want to fight or hurt others. Due to this she developed a unique fighting style that uses a shield as her weapon.

Genshin Impact sticker sheet design! It all started when I saw Yaoyao’s little bunny and then it spiraled into this. It was fun going back to the lineless style I’ve tested out before, and I’m super happy with how it turned out! Super excited to see how the sheets look in person. ^^

Another DnD character? More likely then you’d think! XD

This is Ailbhe, a Golynn and gentle giant of a sorcerer. Their birthplace is unknown, and was instead raised by people who work in the market of the Radiant Citadel. As a Spiritbound Sorcerer, they’ve been with their bond Rina as long as they can remember and the flying fox is extremely protective of her partner. Also very cuddly and insists on pets. It’s thanks to the bond that they’re both albino as well.

Been a while since I’ve posted some art. XD; I’ll have to look through my stuff and see if there was anything I missed uploading. For now, here’s some new character art!

This is Fiadh, originally made for a Strixhaven game, but now I’m using her in Radiant Citadel. She grew up with a team of explorers and archeologists, and was actually training to become a wizard. Unfortunately before that could happen she came into contact with an ancient book and became a warlock to a patron simply known as ‘The Library’. She’s extremely excitable and loves learning new things all the time.

Seriously I don’t get why her friends have an issue. These are the options that happen.

Person speaks Irish and is probably lacking in people to talk to as well and will most likely be excited to use it.

Person speaks Irish poorly but will choose to use this as a great learning opportunity.

Person speaks Irish poorly and asks to use English instead, which can easily be done from then on.

Person doesn’t speak Irish and asks to use English. Switch and move on with conversation.

Where is there a problem with any of these options? 

Keep the language, ditch the ‘friends’.

So a little while back @mystarseed drew one of her OCs as if she was in Genshin Impact. I thought that was cool but instead of redoing an old OC I just made a new one! XD I deliberately replicated the look of Genshin characters in terms of body/face and stuff.

Still need to figure out their name and stuff, but I do know for sure they’re an anemo sword user. They then use anemo to make a second sword, and their basic attack pattern flips from normal attack to anemo mattering on the hit in the attack pattern. Also, their attacks give off an aurora look to them.

And if you were wondering, yes they are non-binary. XP Because fuck it, why not?

Another thing I made for merch! A sticker sheet full of cats. Another one I and my friends thought would sell a lot, and ended up selling 2 of… *coughs*

I think we just greatly overestimated how much any one product will sell at a con. It was a learning experience, and hopefully we’ll be MUCH better prepared for future cons. In the meantime, this one, too, will be available in our shop!
