you dozed off in his arms, only a quarter of your mind aware of the video. this was your first time watching asmr with him. you never thought he'd be into it, but you learn somethin' new every day.

at first, he thought it was weird; he didn't like how the sounds and movements made him feel. a man in dim lighting tapped at a pen and asked random questions to get you to drowse away, and he was doing well for the most part. you'd both agreed that whoever could answer the most questions without falling asleep would be the little spoon for 3 nights in a row, which was big for the two of you.

"tuesday," he answered smugly. "looks like someone's getting a little tired."

you yawned and nuzzled your head further into his soft sweater, cooing at the warmth he provided. you'd forgotten all about your little bet. you were too comfortable.

"i guess i have no choice but to be the big spoon tonight," he sighed, shaking his head. "you should be glad you're cute."

you mumbled quiet susurrants to yourself, provoking a small chuckle from your lover.

"you are somethin' else," he laughed. he pulls you closer to him and allows the two of you to sink into the soft mattress.

Now the Charlie slander is crazy!! Let's make one thing Clear that is very obvious Abt Dira cus I feel like y'all are underestimating her cus y'all don't like Charlie! Dira from what we see with this Tre guy knows when her limit is up and doesn't wanna deal with BS. She blocked him and exited his life and didn't let him back in for a period of time that he compares himself to someone being incarcerated. When she did let him back, he's following a set of rules of her boundaries. She obviously has a lot of power over her boundaries and gives less of a shit of someone's feelings if she has to block for her own good. If Charlie mentioning dating was that big of a deal to her... She would of blocked and left him already. But he's also a friend to her, seeing that they hang out casually and she's comfortable seeing his family at the vendors, and bringing him to a family function which then he gave her aunt confidence to propose to her girl, which is a big step for her emotionally, and they danced the night away. Dira keeps him around bc it seems she likes his company. And like Cin said, Dira wanted this Yorkie. If he went to go get it, it seems he knows Dira well on a personal level to get it and was happy she was happy. And let's remember during the photo set of the phonecall, when tre asked why he got blocked and such, Cin pointed out the scene then cut to Charlie sleeping. And idk Abt y'all.. but Cin doesn't do stuff just to be silly. That was intentional. Like idk!!! I don't think Charlie is evil for wanting a relationship. All he's doing rn is making joke like her coochie wants him to marry her. It ain't his fault her coochie shivers her timbers when he just talk! I fully believe if Dira feels uncomfortable, she would of blocked by now. She's shown us already she can. I wouldn't never underestimate her or her decision making!! If she seemingly is keeping him around, I'm assuming he's giving her a fun time and she's just rolling her eyes at his quips.

Xaden hugs an oversized dragon plushie as he sits in the passenger seat.

The gift is for Violet, though it doesn’t hurt to have a bit of emotional support as they drive to their scheduled session. He fiddles with the pads on its paw, and hopes Violet doesn’t notice. Vulnerability has never been his strong suit.

Now I need to know about this left hand hiding adventurin thing!!

this is a very abbreviated version bc i wanna get this out before going to sleep, but still minor spoilers for aventurine’s story in the 2.1 penacony story

basically, it’s revealed that, while gambling, aventurine holds his cards confidently with his right hand while his left one is clenched and shaking under the table where people can’t see (boiling down to the point that his showy facade is just that… sth that’s not real and that he’s actually terrified)

so after that has been revealed, we ofc reevaluated some of the things we know and saw of aventurine; like him only wearing rings on his “showy” right hand or his hand position in the light cone “final victor” and in his new trailer (notice how in both scenes it’s hidden behind his back?)

so i just couldn’t help but notice that in the idle where he tosses the coin around, he does that exact pose (i don’t have a reference atm); hiding his hand behind his back in a manner that looks very polite, gentlemanly and confident

it doesn’t have to mean anything since some things just become habit if you do them often enough and i don’t think he’s as scared of tossing a coin as he is in those life or death situations mentioned above, that piece of his story is just burnt into my brain and i watch his hands like a hawk

in the animated short he tosses a coin with his left, so it’s probably more habit than his hand actually shaking in his idle; but then again, thinking about the fact that he hides his hand (i.e. trembles in fear) so often that it has become an unconscious action… that would open a whole new world of angsty thoughts (let me swaddle you up and protect you ㅠㅠ)

now on the other hand (literally) in the art where he is just waking up and is relaxed he holds his phone with his left; again probably doesn’t mean anything, and i’m interpreting way too much into that one for sure, but i still think it’s a tiny piece of symbolism that he is actually at peace and with his guard down in that situation
