love the little things in vampire diaries that dont make sense and no one else cares about. 18 year old matt donovan walking around with a six pack of beer like yeah i bought this at my work :) all these high schoolers are constantly drinking so much and killing people but they get mad at jeremy for smoking weed because "thats illegal". where are they even acquiring so much alcohol. i mean i too drank in high school but it wasnt the nineties like it took some finesse to get that much of it. no one ever pukes or gets a hangover they're all exceedingly aware of their boundaries at 17-18. where does jeremy even get his weed after vicki dies cause let me tell you one thing about this kid he does not have friends. 18 year old matt donovan is living alone in a bachelor pad cause his mom sucks and he busts his ass working at the mystic grill to pay the bills. you know who else doesnt have parents? elena and jeremy but do they have to work or worry about bills in their huge fucking house that constantly needs repairs after vampire attacks? no theyre fine. they have groceries. who is doing the grocery shopping when elena's constantly getting kidnapped? alaric telling elena on her 18th birthday "you're an adult and you can be an adult better than i can" i think he should die. is no one concerned about all these kids very obviously living without any guardians? jeremy dies and elena burns her fucking house down and later they bring jeremy back to life and he has to pretend he burned his house down and faked his death and he has to go back to school and everyones like, yeah seems normal for you to live at home with your 18 year old sister and no other adults. how does he get into art school? one thing about this kid is he was not fucking drawing. i love television.
