I am falling into a strange hole. See, see Idk if you guys are familiar with sm/p (yes I'm hiding) serieses (no i don't know how to pluralize series) but I somehow became a fan of one and like it's weird because it's like a dnd/tabletop game campaign where everyone plays as themselves but there's still a fan base with fan content and aus and theories and shipping? And its like like these are real people but also characters but also real people but also characters but also real people who encourage the fan content and some of these real people react to said fan content namely youtube videos/animatics, animatics which one of these real people said they send to each other(the rest of the server members) in their (server) group chat. These animatics which treat them as characters in fiction which I mean they kinda are but also they're real peo

#I like to dive right into fanbases/content when I develop an interest in a series of sorts #but my brain is like on edge or something #Like I am seeing their characters as characters but also like #Those are real people #And like there's one that if this was a legitmate character I would lowkey be projecting so hard onto rn #But he's a real person #And like I'm coming to conclusions about certain things & they sorta feel projection-adjacent & I just go #“Is that weird? That's a real person.” #But like it's kinda like when people guest star as themselves in shows #Except it's not #They're not being written by anyone #They're real people #but their fans aren't treating them like celebrity fans treat celebrities #their fans are treating them like cast & crew & characters #but also like real people #bcuz they're real people #(Not to say casts & crews aren't really people.
