saw on twitter that some hezbollah resistance fighters have been martyred and some people were saying shit like "they got killed murdering sunnis in idlib fighting alongside assad" and i was like??? isn't idlib held by isis/al nusra or something? is hezbollah really killing sunnis? also are there any books about assad/the syrian civil war that's not written along american lies?
Listen, one thing you should know is that no matter how much we fight, and how much we're trying to resist the occupiers and the imperialists, a lot of Sunnis will simply not like us. Some have compared us to the Zionists, heck, we're worse than that. Hezbollah, the Houthis, Kata'ib, the Hasdh al-Shaabi and etc, have all been actively fighting against Israel and the West, but even as they do that, the Sunnis will never be satisfied with us, because we're heretics.
Idlib is run by the Turkish-backed Tahrir al-Sham (formerly al-Nusra). I don't think it takes a second to realize who these extremists are and why they're such a big deal. They'd be more than happy to exterminate every single Shi'a, Druze or Alawite from Syria. Interestingly enough, they can't get along with every other rebel group anyways, so it's just a bunch of Sunnis killing Sunnis, because they can't agree over which draconian Shari'i-based government they want. Neither Assad, Rojava and secular FSA member want these fuckers running the country for a good reason. With that said, the Free Syrian Army is dead, it failed and have been transformed into a coalition of thuggish Salafists who wish to establish an Islamic State -- akin to the Taliban regime -- and can only depend on the Turks to bail them out.
Regardless of everything, the Shi'as will never waver in their resistance against the Imperialists and will continue to fight for the Palestinians.

USAF launches retaliatory airstrikes against Hezbollah military bases in Iraq 🇮🇶
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 01/25/2024 - 15:00 in Military, War Zones
On January 24, 2024, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it had conducted air strikes against facilities used by the Kataib Hezbollah (KH) militia group in Iraq.
This action was a response to previous attacks attributed to the KH, including one at the al-Asad air base in western Iraq on January 20.
The attacks were initiated after a series of incidents involving Kataib Hezbollah (KH), including a missile attack on U.S. military bases. In retaliation, the U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagles targeted several locations in eastern Syria and western Iraq. The U.S. attacks focused on three specific locations associated with KH and other groups affiliated with Iran, including its headquarters, storage facilities and training centers for rocket, missile and UAV capabilities.
Tumblr media
One of the targeted sites was a KH military base in Jurf Al-Nasr, Iraq, known for storing a large hiding place of rockets and ballistic missiles, leading to several secondary explosions. Other attacks targeted at least six bases in the Iraqi provinces of Al-Anbar and Babylon, which were linked to the IRGC's Kataib Hezbollah, with the aim of degrading their operational capabilities.
In response to U.S. military actions, Abu Ala al-Walai, secretary general of Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada, an Iraqi Shiite radical militia affiliated with Hezbollah, criticized the attacks. He called for increased actions against U.S. and Israeli targets, including a blockade of Israeli navigation in the Mediterranean Sea and attacks on Israeli ports, indicating a potential escalation in hostilities.
Tumblr media
The Pentagon, represented by Secretary Lloyd Austin, described U.S. military attacks as "necessary and proportional", intended to prevent further attacks against U.S. troops and ensure their safety. These operations took place in the context of the increase in attacks on American bases in Iraq and Syria, marking an increase in hostilities that were relatively infrequent before the recent escalation in the Gaza Strip.
Simultaneously, tensions increased when Hezbollah recently launched an attack on an air traffic control base of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Meron, northern Israel. This attack resulted in minor damage, but without victims, and was claimed by Hezbollah as retaliation against alleged Israeli actions in Lebanon and Syria. After that, the Israel Defense Forces strengthened their defensive measures in sensitive locations and conducted retaliatory attacks against Hezbollah and Iranian positions in Lebanon.

🇮🇶 Kata'ib Hezbollah (Iraq):
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The zionist enemy, supported by the United States, continues its cowardly treacherous operations against the fighters of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance.
After its military failure in facing the steadfast fighters of Gaza, it commits another assassination crime by targeting the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, leader Saleh Al-Arouri, and a number of his companions, as well as civilians in Beirut.
The criminality of the zionist entity in dropping tons of bombs on civilians in Gaza and its audacity in targeting civilian sites in Lebanon represents a serious escalation. This is in addition to the zionist aggressions in Syria and Iraq, which would not have occurred without the support of the American administration, aiming to execute its nefarious schemes in the region.
At a time when Kata'ib Hezbollah renew their pledge to spare no effort in expelling the occupiers, they pray to Allah to join this group of martyrs with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and that they find excellent company in them.
They also pray for Allah to grant patience and solace to their families and loved ones, and [recite] "There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Almighty."

Ideologia
**Maggioranza:**
Nazionalismo iracheno
**Fazioni:**
• Musulmani sciiti
• Interessi dei musulmani sunniti
• Pan-islamismo
• Antisionismo
• Anti-americanismo
• Anti-Ovest
• Velayat-e Faqih
• Khomeinism
• Sistanismo
• cristianesimo
• interessi turkmeni
• Yazidismo
***Composizione e organizzazione***

After bombing pro-Iran militia bases in Syria and Iraq, US hints at future strikes
- 30 December 2019 Top US officials declared that a series of airstrikes against Iranian-backed forces in Syria and Iraq were “successful”, and hinted that the US was preparing for future attacks on Iranian assets in the Middle East. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the US would confront Iran and its proxies for its attacks on American forces in the region. “We will not stand for the Islamic Republic of Iran to take actions that put American men and women in jeopardy,” Pompeo said after briefing President Trump in Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper called the strikes “successful”, and warned Iran that the US was prepared for “additional actions”. “We discussed with [President Trump] other options that are available,” Esper said. “I would note also that we will take additional actions as necessary to ensure that we act in our own self-defense and we deter further bad behavior from militia groups or from Iran.” On Sunday, US F-15 fighter jets bombed five bases used by Kata'ib Hezbollah, a pro-Iranian Shi’ite Muslim terror group which straddles the boundary between Syria and Iraq, and is allied with the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah. The five targets struck included three in Iraq and two in Syria. Twenty-five fighters were reported dead in the strikes in Iraq alone, including four of the group’s leaders. In addition, at least 55 were reportedly wounded in the strikes in Iraq. The US carried out the attacks after an American civilian contractor was killed and four US military personnel injured in a rocket attack Friday on the K1 base in Kirkuk, Iraq.
