125) Mazari (beludżi i urdu: مزاری) - plemię Beludżów w Pakistanie. Mazari pochodzi od słowa mazar z Balochi, które w języku beludżi oznacza „tygrys”. Rojhan-Mazari, miasto w dystrykcie Rajanpur w Pendżabie, w pobliżu międzyprowincjonalnych granic Beludżystanu, Sindh i Pendżabu, jest bastionem plemienia Mazari. Plemię Mazari jest jednym z najstarszych plemion Beludżów. Obszar podbity przez Mazari jest nadal znany jako Tuman Mazari. Obejmował obszar obejmujący większość dystryktu Kashmore w Sindh, Tehsil Sadiqabad, dystrykt Chatha Baksha Mazari, Jhang i cały Tehsil Rojhan w Pendżabie. Solid measures to be taken for curbing child labour: CM LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar chaired a meeting to review the performance of the Labour Department at the CM office on Sunday. Addressing the meeting, he said that a Labour Tower would be constructed in Lahore under the supervision of the Labour Department. He also directed to review the proposal of setting up of hostels for the labourers and industrial workers. It was principally decided in the meeting to turn Punjab Employees Social Security Institution and Punjab Workers Welfare Funds into smart organisations. The meeting further decided that COMSATS would establish a campus on the land of the Labour Department in Defence Lahore where 30 per cent of children of labour and workers would get free education. He further directed the authorities concerned to take solid measures for curbing child labour. Usman Buzdar said that land of the Labour Department worth 2 billion rupees had been evacuated from the Qabza Mafia. Similarly, 144 flats of labourers and workers in Sheikhupura, Kot Chatha and other areas got vacated from Qabza Mafia as well. He maintained that the minimum wage of the workers in Punjab had been fixed to Rs 20 thousand, adding that incumbent government, during its two and a half year tenure, had given raise of Rs 5000 in the minimum wage of labourers and workers. He said that free of cost medical facilities had been provided to a common man in Social Security Hospitals of Lahore and Muzaffargarh. Usman Buzdar directed to complete the construction of 720 flats project for the workers and labours at the earliest. He said that Social Security Hospitals were being constructed in Taunsa, Sargodha and Faisalabad, whereas the cardiology department had been established in Khawaja Farid Social Security Hospital in Multan for the labours. As many as 98 per cent of payments were made online for Social Security Card. He said that the marriage grant had been increased from one lakh to two lakh. Similarly, the amount under the head of death grant had also been increased from five lakh to six lakh. Free online service was being provided for the registration of factories. The meeting also reviewed the proposal of setting up of PESSI Medical College and Nursing School. Secretary Labour gave the detailed briefing of departmental performance and measures taken for providing facilities to the workers. Provincial Minister Labour Ansar Majeed Niazi, Principal Secretary to CM, Secretary Labour, head of Special Monitoring Unit and concerned officials were present on this occasion. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of a kidnapping and murder of a child in Karyala Chakwal and sought a report from Regional Police Office (RPO) Rawalpindi. The Chief Minister directed for the immediate arrest of the accused and fulfill the requirements of the justice, said a handout issued here on Sunday. Usman Buzdar assured justice to the bereaved family of the child and extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences with them. Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has stated that those engaged in negative politics in the backdrop of corona pandemic have faced defeat. The opposition should shun their politics of deceit and stop point-scoring over the corona.
In a statement, the CM maintained that anti-corona policy has proved successful and the smart lockdown helped in overcoming the pandemic. It is sanguine that the anti-corona policy of Prime Minister Imran Khan has also been acknowledged at the global level. It is regretted that opposition has no strategy and they have also lost their credibility in the public, he added. The CM lamented that opposition leaders engaged in making tall claims have done nothing practically. They are isolated and have left the people alone, he said. Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has extended greetings to the nation and appealed to celebrate Eid ul-Adha with simplicity due to the corona.
In his message, the CM expressed the satisfaction that anti-corona steps have proved useful. However, the nation should remain watchful and follow the SOPs because it is the matter of protection of human lives, he maintained. We also pay tributes to those who have sacrificed their lives due to corona, he added. The CM said the Eid ul-Adha is the festival of sacrifice and sharing happiness. It is our social obligation to help alleviate the indigent strata, he said. We should also commit to avoiding social evils like backbiting, hypocrisy and lies. The Pakistanis should show unswerving probity and leave behind the societal curse of criticism for the sake of criticism and levelling baseless allegations for the sake of allegations so that the country could move forward. We should also remember the brave sons who have sacrificed their lives for the protection of motherland, he added. He stressed that ensuring participation of the heirs of the martyrs in the joys of Eid is our collective responsibility. Similarly, we should also remember oppressed Kashmiris who are a continued victim of Indian state-sponsored tyranny in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). The mistreated Kashmiris are celebrating eid under lockdown, being continued for the last 12 months, in Indian Occupied Kashmir. They are hapless victims of tyrannic Indian policies, he deplored. The CM regretted the immoral, illegal and unconstitutional steps of the hindu supremacist Modi regime have deprived the Kashmiris of their joys of eid. I salute my Kashmiri brethren on this eid and we should promote the passion of brotherhood by avoiding internal differences. Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has stated that none died due to coronavirus during the last 24 hours in Punjab while 172 new cases have been detected.
In a statement, he said the number of active cases is 8697 while 81260 have been recovered. Similarly, 699636 have been tested. The governmental steps have helped in overcoming the virus and the cooperation extended by the people also yielded positive results, he added. He maintained that observance of SOPs is imperative on Eid ul Adha and its implementation is being ensured in cattle markets. Similarly, any violation of SOPs will not be tolerated in public transport because less and less socialisation helps in overcoming the spread of this virus, the CM added.

Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said the provincial government believes in the concept of composite development as it is the right of every area of the province. In a statement, he said development projects have been designed keeping in view the needs of the people and consultation process has been started for the identification of development priorities. He emphasized that the development budget’s utilization is better than the previous governments and added that criticizers should speak in the light of genuine figures. The past government left several incomplete projects in Lahore and other districts. The incumbent government made payments of a number of projects of the previous tenure and got completed the public welfare projects by rising above prejudice. He disclosed that administrative arrangements are ready for the establishment of southern Punjab secretariat. Funds have been allocated and secretariat would be established soon, he added. CM VISITS MIANWALI AND REVIEWS LAW & ORDER SITUATION AND PROGRESS ON DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES
LAHORE, January 04:
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar visited Mianwali on Saturday and presided over a meeting at police lines for briefing about law & order situation and development schemes of the district by Deputy Commissioner Umer Chatha. The chief minister directed timely completion of development schemes and reiterated that he is monitoring development projects of far-flung areas along with conducting field visits. No compromise will be made on the standard of development schemes, he added. He expressed satisfaction over the performance of the district administration and directed that officers should work hard for public service adding that action should be initiated against the elements involved in artificial price-hike. He further directed the administrative officers to keep a vigilant eye on the prices of essential items and action should be initiated against hoarders and illegal profiteers. No leniency will be tolerated in the mission of public service, he warned. Usman Buzdar said that district Mianwali is very close to his heart and added that necessary steps should be taken to further improve the law & order situation. Meanwhile, the campaign should be continued against absconders and complainants be treated gently in the police stations. He hoped that the establishment of model police stations would prove fruitful in changing archaic police culture in Mianwali. Amjad Ali Khan Niazi MNA, provincial assembly members Amin Ullah Khan and Malik Ahmed Khan Bhachar were also present on this occasion.
Talking to the assembly members after the inauguration of the model police station, the chief minister said that at least one model police station is being established in every district. This initiative is an important step towards changing routine police culture, he added. The model police stations will improve service delivery, contact between people and police would be developed and police performance will also be improved, he added. The chief minister informed that police functions are being improved through operating procedures management adding that monitoring and control rooms have also been set up in model police stations. Similarly, carpeted non-smoking lockups have been established along with the facility of washrooms, he told. Along with it, CCTV cameras have also been installed to monitor the investigation process.
Later, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar visited various parts of the city without any protocol and inspected cleanliness arrangements of the city. He also paid a surprise visit to Police Station Wan Bachran and inspected its various sections as well as the official record. He directed to improve the cleanliness condition along with the cleanliness of washrooms of the lockup. The grievances of the victims should be redressed in police stations. The culture of police stations is being improved and by the grace of Almighty Allah it would be made in accordance with aspirations of the people, he concluded.
