Proship means ship and let ship. Not all proshippers ship problematic ships.

If you don’t like a ship, or certain ships, you block and ignore the tags and move on.

They just believe that no one should be attacked for fictional ships. Because again it’s fictional and not real.

By you saying you don’t want proshippers to interact because of what they ship, sounds to me like you don’t actually know what it means. Which is understandable, since a lot of anti shippers tend to lie about what it actually means. But it’s not about shipping problematic ships. It’s about being anti-harassment.

aaa i've had several come to me to explain what proshipping means and i've been getting various meanings that are. pretty different from each other. in my opinion, proshippers seem like a mixed bag of people who write those topics to cope; and people who use it to justify writing inc*st and/or s*xualizing, minors by saying fiction doesn't affect reality. that's a whole other topic which i feel like i don't need to talk about because as i have stated in my initial ask about this topic: i don't want to see content like n*ncon, inc*st, etc. no matter the reason. this isn't a matter of ship wars or whatever, because trust me, i may be a dumb ass but i know when to just block and move on 😭

like you said, proship means "ship and let ship" because of the claim that fiction =/= reality (again, that's a whole other can of worms) but this is a public platform and everyone has the right the curate the content on their dashboard. and for me, that means i personally don't want to see content of that nature and when someone who labels themself "proshipper" has a high likelihood of writing that kind of content, then i'd rather not interact with them. not trying to attack or harrass anyone, just trying to keep this site a safeplace for me, is all

EDIT: the bottom line is (and i'm sorry for putting it like this if it offends anyone) i don't care what you call yourself, i'm really not here for debates on what it means to be a proshipper or an anti, i just don't want to see content of that nature in my dash.
