turns out I have been doing something extremely illegal for over a year and now I have to call the irs. living in the nightmare realm right now

#turns out you are LEGALLY OBLIGATED to susbcribe to a medication insurance here #and you are LEGALLY OBLIGATED to subscribe to your employer's insurance. which I never did in my previous job 🙃 #so now I can't file my taxes bc they ask insurance questions and 'omg oopsies fuck fuck fuck' isn’t one of the answers #I read that I'll have to pay a fine which is ok but I feel like they're gonna throw me in jail and notify my previous employer #who is gonna sue me and ruin my life and revoke my diploma and also kill me #so my weekend is going great in case you were wondering 🥴
