You collapsed onto your bed after an enjoyable but exhausting day. You had spent your day accompanying Daniel in the paddock on the last race of the season.

Because you were still mainly located in yours and Daniel’s home town, you didn’t often get the opportunity to travel so far to go and see him race, but you were glad you could.

You threw your outfit on the bench, putting on your comfy pajamas before making a call for room service and scrolling through your phone.

You opened up Instagram and saw that Carmen, George’s partner, had posted a picture of you, Lily, Isa and Charlotte.

You liked it, reposting it to your story, before checking the comment to see what people were saying.

That was your big mistake.

You opened a comment section to people slagging you off, for every reason they could.

“Y/N looks like she pulled that outfit out of her cousin’s closest”

“Jesus she could try and make some effort with her hair and makeup.”

“What?” You said to yourself. It hadn’t come to your attention before that people online didn’t really like you.

“She’s such a slag, sucking off Daniel for his money”

-> “Pity she wouldn’t use Daniel’s money to dress herself up a bit.”

“Daniel deserves way better than her.”

That last comment stuck with you. Your friends had always told you not to believe what the comments said. But surely if they’re all saying the same thing, they must be right?

You scrolled through the other photos the paparazzi had captured of all the other wags. Looking through them, you came to understand how you believed you were a lower standard compared to them.

They had the newest handbags, shoes, clothes, makeup. They had people dressing them up for this and every event they attended. They didn’t even had to think twice before flashing their card in a designer shop.

You, on the other hand, had to go to a thrift shop to buy the dress you wore so you could still afford your rent and bills at the end of the month. You used the drugstore makeup you had been using for years, as getting it done by somebody would cost too much, and you’d have to cut back on buying groceries.

How could you ever expect yourself to compare to these angels who had everything they could ever want? Of course, if you had asked Daniel, he would have bought you a brand new Louis Vuitton dress with a Gucci clutch bag just for today, but you prided yourself on not having to rely on your boyfriend for money. Maybe you prided yourself a little too much.

Tears started to fall from your eyes and down your cheeks. You couldn’t help but think you were and embarrassment to Daniel. That he only kept with you because he felt bad for you and your sad little life.

You headed to the bathroom to take off your makeup, so you could cry without looking like a panda. You stared in the mirror for a little too long, starting to point out imperfections that nobody else saw but you.

You started to cry again.

You crawled into the hotel bed, pulling the covers up over your head, and wept. You wept and wept until you felt empty. And then you came to a realization.

You had to break up with Daniel. You had to let him find someone better than you. Someone prettier, someone richer, someone who wouldn’t put shame on his name.

You were too busy crying to hear the sound of your hotel room door opening and closing. The second Daniel saw you upset, he rushed to your side.

“My love. What’s wrong?”

He pulled the covers down from your face gently, revealing your reddened cheeks and puffy eyes. A look of worry washed over his face.

“What’s happened?” He asked, softly.

You wiped your eyes in your hoodie sleeves and started at the ceiling, not even having it in you to look at his big, brown, beautiful eyes right now.

“We- we need to break up.” You croaked out.

Daniel’s face dropped. “What? Y/N, what the hell are you talking about.”

You brought your hands up to your eyes and started to cry tears you thought you didn’t have left. Daniel softly stroked your cheek in an attempt to calm you down.

“There’s- there’s just comments I saw online and they say how bad I look compared to the other girls.” You rambled out, still not able to look at him.

“Oh, doll.” He whispered.

“And one comment said that you deserve someone way better than me, which you do. I’m too ugly and poor to be with someone as good as you.”

Your breathing started to increase a little as you started to panic. Daniel pulled you into his arms, cradling you, as he rubbed soft circles on your back.

“Oh Y/N. You can’t listen to those silly little comments. I’m the one that’s lucky to have you.” He said, into your ear.

“But-” You went to argue but Daniel cut you off.

“No, listen. Y/N, I’m the luckiest person in the world to have somebody like you. Somebody so kind, so pretty, so smart, so sweet, so dedicated. You’re the prettiest girl in the whole entire world. Nobody compared to you, my love.”

He softly took ahold of your hands, removing them from your face.

“Let me see my beautiful lady.”

You smiled up at him. You were so lucky to have somebody like him. He really was one of a kind.

“Y/N, I love you.” He said.

Your face lit up, he said them. He really said those three beautiful words for the first time. Just when you thought you couldn’t love him more, he proved you wrong.

“I love you too, Daniel.”

He pulled you into a proper hugs and you stayed there for what felt like forever. You didn’t care, as long as you had Daniel, you could stay with him forever.

There is conversation about the difference between their clothes going to the airport. WYB was wearing very light clothing and XZ was bundled up. It’s like him following WYB’s reminder that the weather is cooling down and YBo saying to wear more clothes.

A key thing here is it was taken much earlier than it was posted. Which is not really suspicious if you think about it. Not everyone posts selfies in real time. So this was allegedly taken along with other selfies to report to WYB. This is kinda believable knowing that they were both in BJ together but now XZ has to leave.

While filming the movie Dunkirk, Styles and L/N grew intimate. The crew on set were aware of their relationship along with the cast. Fionn Whitehead who plays Tommy talks about the pair in an interview with Cillian Murphy.

She was shooting The Wolf of Wall Street when she first directed something, a music video. Well known singer Stevie Nicks asked Y/N to direct one of her music videos. With no previous knowledge about the job, she still took on the assignment. In less than a week Nicks had gained a music video that earned her about a dozen awards.

Even though L/N had very too little experience about directing she jumped in head first. “Well I really was clueless about the whole directing thing but luckily I got the hang of it.” She lets out a laugh.

Last year in 2018, Warner Bros Pictures offered to turn her ideas into reality. “Turns out I loved being behind the camera more than in front of it.” She continues with a smile.

Quite quickly, she wrote a script and brought a few actor friends together which resulted in Harry Styles being casted in her movie.

During filming, Styles and L/N began to grow an intimate relationship. It’s very common for love to flow in a workplace—look at Jim and Pam for example.

Them getting close wasn’t a surprise to cast and crew. Since day one of shooting Dunkirk, Y/N and Harry have been inseparable—eating lunch in the same trailers, going to dinners, hanging out with each other’s family—you name it and the two probably did it.

“From a personal aspect Harry is such an amazing person. He’s a delight to hang out with and…” Y/N softly laughs into her hand, trying to hide her giggles. “I just am so glad to have him in my life.” She continues on, still wearing a smile.

As L/N tells the story, she looks so happy. Her legs were sat under her as she traced invisible shapes onto her blue flare jeans. I noticed a familiar piece of clothing she had on and soon recognized it as Harry Styles iconic Rolling Stones shirt.

I can’t believe Yamanaka Hiko’s been terrorizing me for over twelve years now. OH MY GOD I’M SO OLD. And true to the Yamanaka Hiko brand, this turned out to be another fantasy masterpiece (read His 500 Years of Suffering Romance). This was definitely the type of thing that would do great even without the BL aspect of it. Now, I did have an issue with Kidou being an asshole (he's almost killed Yoshino more than once), so I’m not excusing it. But I do get how and why he turned out to be like that and I'm aware that it's important for his character development. The world-building was great, don't get me wrong, but it's definitely dubcon 2015. I would strongly advise you not to get into it if that's a deal breaker for you.

Anyway, onto the voice work.

Souma used a tone so close to Gucci's that I kept imagining Gucci being Yoshino. Yes, I didn't read the manga while listening to the BLCD. It was like after graduating Karasuno, Gucci went on to become a teacher, then a donor lmao. His Yoshino panics more like Honda-san, however, so my final verdict is that his Yoshino is half-Gucci, half-Honda-san.

This isn't Nakajiki and Souma's first rodeo, but I'm glad to say that their performance/dynamic here is different from Mikeneko and XL Size. I expected Kidou to be a mix of Amano and Anaconbayashi-kun 'cause the former was cocky and the latter was stoic, but Kidou was only 50% of that mix and 50% brooding, suffering, I'll-protect-you top. Am I even making any sense? Again, I listened to the BLCD first, but the sound direction they gave Nakajiki was very different from what I thought he'd sound like after I read the manga. It’s almost like what happened with OnoD’s expressive Hasebe-kun in the Kotonoha BLCD vs the more stoic Hasebe-kun in the manga. 

The voice work of our two leads was 👌. This might just be my fave out of their pairings 'cause the sex isn't over-the-top like XL Size and Mikeneko. I will say that I wasn't completely sold on Yamashita Seiichirou as Shibata-san 'cause I feel like he speaks too slowly, but I'm sure it'll grow on me by the time I listen to their spin-off. KawaKen was fine. My heart broke for him every time Shibata-san rejected him, so it's safe to say he's got Taki-kun down already.

Oh. I did have a slight issue with the sfx too. Why was it so watery??? Lmao. Even r18 otome cds aren't that wet. But it's not so glaring that it'll turn you off.

The BLCD was almost perfectly accurate to the manga. I highly recommend this to those learning mid to higher levels of Japanese. Futekiya has licensed volumes 1 & 2, so please try to support the official release if you can. I'd be lying if I said that I agree with how they translated it so... literally?, but I think it's also important to see how things are translated that way if you're aiming to dip your toes into translation aside from studying the language. For example, they used "Living God" throughout the manga instead of "Ikigami." It's correctly translated, but I personally prefer retaining the original title. You know, like how Viz uses "Kaiju no. 8" instead of "Monster no. 8?"

God knows if I'll ever survive the spinoff that I wanted to work on. I avoided talking about it for a reason lmao. Anyway, if y'all liked this, then please give 500 Years (Ono Yuuki x Suzuki Tatsuhisa) and Shortcake no Ichigo Sawaranaide (Nojima Hirofumi x Takeuchi Ken). These two are android bls and Ikigami to Donor is more guide bl, but they both share a futuristic vibe.

We don’t know if he's contractually obligated to play straight (image clauses still in effect from txf days), if it's him bargaining for something or making a trade off (for himself or Louis). Maybe he's about to do something gay? Or it's just a new brand deal with L*ewe (like the Gucci one) but this time they did a two for one, giving him a beard on the same brand deal (that's what the blind items are saying if you believe them). So i'm not sure if he's willing to do anything, or more doing it to be allowed to do other things. We'll see.

As i've also touched on before, i think in order to sell these stunts and make them somewhat believable he has to make more of an effort than he used to. Gp and fans are starting to se pr stunts for what it is, and he's done so many now that he needs to convince everyone that this one is really the one! He can't afford to half ass it.

A kiss will sell the relationship more than a thousand bike rides or walks through London will. (At least with his current display of negtive body language). It may also be less taxing on him to kiss her once or twice, than the constant outings. Everyone will go 'awww they kissed', and ignore his obvious discomfort. Much like the O tattoo probably saved him a lot of awkward make out sessions with her (if they'd continued the stunt).

It might be that we get a "couple" fashion shoot with them wearing Lo*we in Vogue and an accompanying interview. I hope he's prepared his talking points this time (his team lets be real) and don't shit on fans, fandom and those who don't buy the relationship if that's the case... Although more brands are wanting to do this there is many factors involved that make it difficult, these factors are insuring all workers are still paid fairly, addressing the issue of overproduction and many others. Its not just fashion brands that need to be more sustainable, its us. I feel that people need to be more self aware when buying clothing as this will help to prevent over production. Doing things like buying less and buying better is a good way of been more sustainable as if you buy better quality clothing it will last longer meaning you will have to buy less. Overall everyone can play a part in been more sustainable, from huge fashion brands to the average customer.

Up-cycling: Upcycling fashion is the term used to describe the creative reuse of textile waste or existing clothes into new, better quality products that aid environmental value. It aims to transform the once used garment into a unique piece that can be worn again in a new way. 

Up-cycling is the current biggest trend in fashion right now, the question is should it be a trend or an expectation? Upcycling has been the biggest trend of SS 2021 with top designer brands like Balenciaga and Coach all exploring on how they can reuse and recycle materials. As well as top brands become more self aware, small businesses and regular individuals are also taking part in the upcycling trend, by upcycling clothes they already have or buying from places like charity shops and selling them on apps like Depop or Vinted. A designer who has used upcycling in his pieces is a Dutch designer Duran Lantink, he reassembles deadstock garments from brands including Gucci, Prada and even Off-White into new high end pieces. There has been a lot of interest from major retailors and brands wanting to collaborate with him. This has made a lot of retailors think about what to do with deadstock. Again I believe everyone can do their part in upcycling and doing this UNIT has gave me more of an insight on how to understand and easy upcycling can be.

Takeoff Killed in Texas Shooting: Read the Emotional Tributes

As previously reported, Takeoff was shot and killed very early Tuesday morning in Houston.

The rapper, a member of popular hip hop group Migos, was only 28 years old.

According to various reports, he had been playing dice at a bowling alley with a group that included friend and fellow musician Quavo when an altercation broke out — and someone brandished a gun.

Houston Police Department Chief Troy Finner confirmed at a news conference this afternoon that Takeoff had been murdered.

“I got many calls from Houston and outside of Houston, and everyone spoke of what a great young man he is, how peaceful he is, what a great artist (he is),” Finner said, later adding that Takeoff was well respected and nonviolent: 

“I would not expect him to be involved…

“We have no reason to believe that he was involved in anything criminal at the time.”

In the wake of this fatal incident, a number of celebrities and members of the music community reacted in shock and sorrow via social media.

Rapper Gucci Mane, who’d recently collaborated with Takeoff and his uncle and bandmate Quavo on the song “Us vs. Them,” shared a photo of the rapper to Instagram, writing that the news left him devastated.

Added Ja Rule on Twitter: “Rip Takeoff… this s— has to STOP… sending love to friends and family.”

Rapper Ugly God then broke down Migos’ influence on hip-hop, writing online that the trio’s 2015 debut album Yung Rich Nation changed the genre.

“do y’all not realize these n—s changed the whole cadence of rap when they came out? rip Takeoff,” he wrote. 

Journalist Jemele Hill also weighed in on the loss via a Twitter thread that expressed frustration with the frequency with which young Black men are shot and killed:

I was in college when Biggie and ‘Pac were killed and thought there was no way we’d ever experience anything remotely close to that again. 

Now it’s happening so frequently that you barely have time to recover before someone else killed. RIP Takeoff.

Here comes another useless conversation about how the real issue is we need to better navigate our lives around gun violence. There are 400 million guns in this country — twice as many as we have people. There is no navigating around that.
