I know I've been talking about this a lot but it's not only because I've seen dumb posts on Tumblr but cuz I like listening to history podcasts n shit..... it's so so so so fucking wild the way a ton of the left idolizes the USSR. Like. It was not fucking good guys. Even outside of the bullshit anti communist propaganda I promise you the USSR was not actually run well and the people running it sucked ass. I promise that you don't have to go to bat for this shit in defense of communism, the USSR was led by dudes who were temperamental, untrusting, and driven at times by just their whims.

But I mean there's also ppl on the "left: that just outright deny the holodomor so 🙃
