#aiden's monologuing #i cannot help but compare jjk and naru. it follows the same formula in many ways. to the point of discomfort honestly lol #ailbjjk #well. more like thoughts i've been having since the beginning #the major difference is how much more willing jjk is to kill off its characters. but the thing is. #you have to be so so careful with character death #because you need those. you need characters to have a story #also naru is so much better at emotional stakes it's not even funny #i've seen people say jjk takes what naru does and does it better but where. with which things. #i'd say it's better with its female characters but like. again. gratuitous character death. #i'm still miffed about [spoiler redacted] dying. she was so cool. and is maybe still alive?? #she got schrodinger's cat'd #at this point i can't take jjk seriously. i am viewing it as horror-comedy battle manga now
