idk why they bothered getting dai satou back if they werent going for a gimmick that required a tv writer he sucked ass the whole time except for the one character they let him actually go nuts on

#you can tell he didnt care about shit and just put in the most basic level 2/10 imagery and metaphors and references #to get the paycheck its soooo ass #the game looks good and had potential to play decently but it just had no direction or passion behind it #such a phoned in miserable game #barry's parts arent even cringe enough to loop back around into comedy its just -_- every time they try to make him Bad Ass #and its not enraging enough a take on dads to mean anything at all. like literally his single sin as a dad was being #really fucking stupid and negligent one time in a way that had no lasting consequence as far as the plot is concerned #like the characterization was not nuanced enough to have 'yeah i shot my sister on accident cus my dad is an idiot but shes fine' actually #carry any weight whatsoever. like she needed to fucking die. but then moira forgiving him would be stupid and insane #so nothing ever gets built out of anything. it honestly feels like the game had a chapter cut from production at some point #which while adding an abruptness to the game probably is for the best the only reason #im not spitting mad about having to play it is that it was so short it barely had time to register as as horrible as it was
