what should i use to write inside the cover of a board book 🧐

#i have to write a note inside the cover of a bedtime story book for a friend's baby shower #i got a board book bc its more durable with babies than paper but im not sure abt writing on it? #i feel like sharpie would smugde and not like adhere to the page bc its shiny #pencil or pen would like dent it and not stand out very well #i could write a separate note and tuck it in but my friend wanted a note inside the cover from each friend #so she could think of each of us when she reads it #which is sweet #but i didn't know a note was required when i picked a board book 😐 #so now idk what to do lol #anyway i got a little corduroy teddy bear and both the corduroy books bc i loved them when i was little <3 #no idea what i want to write inside yet but idk how to do it snd google is useless 😔 #this has been a shitpost
