wait wasn't this when you were home alone for a month HOW did you get it and what did they say at the hospital :o

I was home alone yeah but I went to the cinema to watch rocketman with an irl who recently returned from Prague and was severely ill but she came anyway coz like....the power of rocketman I guess. She said she caught "something" in Prague.

I got it from her and my symptoms started showing Tuesday evening and by midnight I was near fucking dying??? I still dragged myself to the theater as you can see if you check my blog around that time.

I had to go to what I referred to as the "emergency room" because it was Saturday and all other clinics were closed. I went because I was in so much pain I could barely move and my muscles hurt like hell, and I thought it was pneumonia

At the clinic they asked me why I didn't come sooner (it's coz my parents were the sort who'd let me pass before taking me to a hospital for some unknown reason so I learned never to seek medical help) and then wrote my symptoms down and examined me but she couldn't determine anything because my symptoms didn't fit either pneumonia nor the flu but it wasn't a simple cold either.

In the end she prescribed me antibiotics and something that would make my fever go away, I didn't take the antipyretics (?) coz well, it's not that I like having a fever but it helps the body plus I don't like medication, but I did take the antibiotics although I really don't think they did anything to help

....yeah that was basically it but it was genuinely awful especially because I had to do the entire thing alone. Luckily I spent most of it passed out asleep but still it was terrifying and I assume I would've been a hundred times more terrified had I known at the time what the illness really was
