Pages 64 and 65 of my 2015-2016 watercolor sketchbook/journal.
A self portrait on the left page that I don't particularly care for and a fairy-like mermaid on the side. In the bottom corner is a "happy birthday" drawing of me hugging my friend who passed away in May 2012. Her birthday was Dec 10th and I miss her still.
On the right page is an illustration I didn't paint from life or from reference. It was just feelings. December 2016 was my first Christmas away from home, although I can't remember how I spent it exactly... I know I surprise-road-tripped to Texas right after the new year began and I know for Thanskgiving I took the FVM car up to visit my aunt in upstate NY but what did I do for Christmas?? Why can't I remember?? I'm 99% sure I didn't go home. Did I spend it with @theoneman-army ?? The next year I didn't go home either because my parents were in Maryland with me due to my dad's BMT but why can't I remember Christmas 2016?
I feel kind of embarrassed that it's not coming to me at the moment but maybe I'll remember later or maybe the spouse or a friend will remind me. I do schedule these posts so we'll see if I remember by the time it posts.

Pages 72 and 73 of my 2015-2016 watercolor sketchbook/journal. I lied. Now it's just one more page left, lol.
Top page is a painting of one of my brothers on a playground reading something. We were on a road trip and taking a short break. It's a study from a photo so it's not an image from a 'current event'.
Bottom page is an illustration of my character Astraea with her babysitter from my wip children's book, "People Planets". I wrote it for my book illustration class but felt a little defeated by the negative/constructive criticism I received from my professor and I still haven't gone back to it :( I should though. It's a story about grief.
The main negative comment was that Astraea seemed too smart for her age and I was just like... my brothers and I all had higher vocabulary counts than the average kid I guess..... anyways!
One page left of this book to share and then it's on to the next one!

On the leftt are some ideas I was sketching for my parents' anniversary card and a random character.
On the right is my brother holding my cousin's pet bunny. Also on the right were ideas for my alphabet autobiography (which was for my independent study class). I miss the green vest thing and that skirt-I do not have them anymore but I have the memories!

Pages 24 and 25 of my 2015-2016 watercolor sketchbook/journal.
On the left is an illustration of me getting dressed for a wintery day in Rochester, NY. The getting dressed self portraits ended up being sort of a series so you'll see more of them in later pages. I haven't done one of them in a while but I did enjoy drawing them.
On the right is a little reminder of Lent, a small study of my youngest brother at the beach, and a mermaid :)

On the right are the Baudelaire children, a couple self portrait doodles, and something I doodled for when Notre Dame caught fire (I think that's when that happened, correct me if I'm wrong though).

Pages 26 and 27 of my 2017-2018 watercolor sketchbook/journal.
Top page is a sketch for an illustration commissioned by a friend for his now fiancée. It's of a scientist encountering a volcanic dragon.
On the bottom page is a journal entry from when someone recognized me walking down the street as their friend's roommate. It was a little startling because I didn't know them lol. There rest of the page includes sweaty Cella and an unfinished painting of my hand.

Left page was a customer interaction while working at Framers' Workroom in Tenleytown, DC where they offered DIY picture framing with expert guidance. Sometimes the expert guidance was declined.
Right page has a couple self portraits and a random doodle.

Pages 22 and 23 of my 2017-2018 watercolor sketchbook/journal.
Top page is a witch sitting on a train of the DC metro from another inktober witch-themed prompt.
Bottom page is an illustration of me lugging my old suitcase along using my purse as a handle. The wheels of that suitcase were horrendously useless on any sidewalk of the DMV area but I had yet to acquire my own car so I was very reliant on walking/public transportation.
I don't remember from when/where I was traveling but I do remember that suitcase, hahaha, it was so bulky lol

Left page is a comic I doodled inspired by a business idea of @mademoisellesarcasme, who could add pockets to any article of clothing that was missing pockets they needed!
On the right page is a sketch of me with @theoneman-army from some snapchat filter and a few random sketches I don't remember any purpose to. Also, a tiny sketch for the business card idea :) it will make sense when you see the next page.

The final page (page 74) of my 2015-2016 watercolor sketchbook/journal and its cover.
This last page is a self portrait either painted at the end of December 2016 or the very beginning of January 2017, I can't remember. I'm wearing my tau from my year has an FVM (Aug 2016 - July 2017) in Silver Spring, Maryland - which, isn't over yet of course, at least in my sketchbooks ;)
The next couple of sketchbooks I have were actually painted simultaneously but I will still go through one sketchbook at a time.
