it's really frustrating that if my friend draws his monk with like extreme cut chiseled abs and I draw my fighter built like a rugby prop people will think I'm the one doing unrealistic fanciful stylization or wish fulfillment

THIS IS LITERALLY ABOUT HOW I'M A PEDANTIC NERD #meanwhile even people who are lean and jacked aren't usually extremely defined unless they're actively flexing #or actively fasting and dehydrating AND flexing! like body builders! or modern action heroes for some reason!! #comic book abs are stylized! and that's fine! but it's not MORE REALISTIC #and a FAT person being STRONG is not UNREALISTIC. #I've been talking about this with a friend and he was like 'it's wild because you can literally see fat people in the olympics' #there are fat people in american football! there are fat people in all KINDS of extremely visible Being Muscular roles!! #but somehow people's brains just reject that information as an outlier I guess?? #I know I yell about this a lot but I get defensive as a fat person because I feel like people assume I'm projecting when I draw any bodyfat #NO DUDE I DID MY FUCKING HOMEWORK.
