sometimes we have to set up temporary barriers between headmates/subsystems while they acclimate to the system like cats through a screen door and they function similarly to our gatekeepers' gates so now they are Baby Gates

#like those little gates that you set up in doorways to keep toddlers and sometimes small animals from Escaping #sometimes we introject two people who Really Hated each other in source so we have to separate them temporarily #until we see if they've changed upon being introjected or if we need to work through some stuff #we've gotten really good at internal management and making sure communication and stuff is good #and bc we have good communication we're getting better at learning how to manage our emotions and stuff #which is. a far cry from us a few years ago #earlier Owen brought up the fact that system-wise he's taking the same role that Ro did when he was really active #and just thinking about like. the difference between how good our communication was then to now #seeing the improvement so clearly is really nice #it takes time but we got somewhere :) and we're still going :)
