Seeing and hearing the reaction to her words the she wolf arched a brow and remained silent as she gave Elidi that look of hers that read she knew damn well what the was being implied. Though she did smirk at the question of not killing, looking over to the witch she leaned in closer and hummed some before speaking softly,
“So I can take orders from you in regards to not killing, but its a whole different game when I say I am Your Alpha. You know exactly what I meant, what benefit do I have in giving you orders?”
Almost as if upon saying the words a few ideas crossed her mind but she didn’t voice them in that environment. Instead the red head narrowed her eyes onto her partner and gave her a wink. Seeing how Elidi suddenly seemed to sit up the Alpha arched a brow, tilting her head in a wolf like way upon being told there was an anniversary coming up. The flirtatious energy faded somewhat from the red head as she looked curious as to what the witch was speaking of.
A fond smile broke her serious expression as Elidi suggested a slow walk. Letting out a light laugh she nodded while looking over  to the empty glass, though she herself was just barely starting to get a head change the idea caused her to wonder how long had the witch been there drinking before she had shown up. Seeing Elidi try to pay the she wolf caught her wrist and shook her head,
“This place is literally called the Pack Master’s Pub, despite how little I come here I still have rank, which means our drinks are free.”
As Elidi swayed upon standing Tamryn slipped out of her seat and was ready to help her balance if need be. A warm smile upon her lips as she watched the witch proclaim how she could still walk Her eyes followed the woman she was smitten with as she shook her head some before looking over to grab the bottle and following her drunken lover outside. Meeting Elidi’s attempted grasp for her hand, the she wolf interlaced their fingers in order to not only keep up with but also keep the dark haired woman upright should she lose her balance.
Taking another heavy swig from the bottle as she let Elidi lead her on. The Alpha signaled to her guards to stay there as she was pulled down the lit path way. The red head stayed thoughtfully silent as she simply watched her drunken partner with admiration even in her current state. Everything the witch did while this drunk only seemed to make the glowingly intoxicated wolf to swoon.
After being trailed along for a bit the she wolf knocked back the remains of the bottle and dropped it into one of the trashcans along the pathway before she came up behind Elidi and while still holding onto her hand she wrapped her arms around her careful to not cause them to stumble and fall. Bringing her lips close to her lover’s ear she whispered
“Où allons-nous ma chérie, where are we going?”

Once outside, strolling along the sidewalk, Elidi was true to her word, her pace leisure as they traveled. As Tamryn settled her arms around Elidi's waist, a grin broke across her features, almost ducking away from the redhead as she spoke softly. Tamryn's breath is warm against her skin and Elidi's ears had always been delicate to touch. Not that she wanted to voice such a thing aloud, but silently blamed her intoxication instead for her lowered tolerance levels. Still her tone is heavy with merriment, turning abruptly in the embrace to meet her lover's gaze. "Ha, ehem... Somewhere we could be alone."
Facing the Alpha, the mirth faded from her hues, this felt more bittersweet than anything. At least it would be soon enough when Elidi ruined the mood yet again. Her brows furrowed, her free hand reaching to cup the Alpha's cheek while searching her gaze. "I don't want to tell you now.... Only because it'll kill this moment in time, and I'd rather be selfish and linger here." Elidi admitted to her, her forehead dropping to press against the redheads.
Eventually she breaks the embrace, giving Tamryn's hand a gentle squeeze before continuing on with her at her side. Really she was hoping to find somewhere to sit with her partner, though this area was anything but providing. After some thoughtful consideration, she ushers an apology to Tamryn before pulling her close and warping them away.
The spell feels dizzying, at least to Elidi, who had transported them to her backyard. In the familiar scenery, she stumbled into the wooden swing she had outback, the materials creaking with her sudden weight. She's quick to still the rocking motion. "Sorry if that seemed abrupt.. I wanted to sit, and that place is too unkempt for you."" Her speech is slow, particularly in an attempt not to slur the words around from lips that had already begun to feel numb.
When Tamryn sits next to her, a content smile covers her lips, gazing adoringly at the redhead. Crickets chirped noisily all around, the yard dimly illuminated by fairy lights Elidi had strung along the back porch. A soft radiance encasing their lone figures and the many plants that resided outside.
Her back leaned against the board, head resting onto the frames with her countenance skyward, her distorted gaze observing the stars as best she could. "This was many years ago, back when Tabula had first been established. I was a rookie still, young, definitely not who I am now. Anyways, I happened to stumble upon a wanted killer at the time, a young vampire, freshly turned. He was untamed, his kills were so messy, sloppy. Even as a newbie, I liked to stay in touch with high profile cases..." The sentiment distracts her momentarily, a weary smile tugging at her lips while her gaze swept the twinkling sky. "He was hungry I presume... I happened to be around while he was hunting and I pursued him. Which was stupid to do alone. He ended up getting the upperhand, broke my ribs, my lip, I had a concussion. Just so much stronger..." Her words trailed off the further she delved into the memory, "a boy walked by, a teenager. Unaware, blissfully ignorant. That vampire pounced on him so quick, a scent he couldn't ignore, something saved me from his fangs. Yet, I couldn't do anything as he bit that poor boy."
"I felt as if I were crawling in slow motion towards them, blood was dropping to the ground. I couldn't do anything." Elidi repeated, above her thunder crackled in the distance, altering her focus. "...the next bit is a little uhm... strange. I just remember being angry, so angry that I couldn't save one innocent soul, just the one. I had never wanted anything more." Her regard flickers over to Tamryn, a little reluctant to even utter the words. "A bolt of lightning sparked downward from the sky, and... well it hit me." An amused laugh emitted from her, this was certainly a strange thing to voice aloud to someone. Definitely sounded unbelievable, Tamryn was the first person she willingly told. "I haven't identified her yet, but some mythos, some being granted me with these extra abilities. It was enough to move me to my feet, enough to reach my target and ignite him to dust he deserved to be."
As quick as the hubris spreads across her expression, it fades. "I couldn't save the boy, the bite was too severe, and he bled heavily even with my hands pressed on his throat. Onto my legs, onto the ground. I passed out shortly afterwards, and I was informed of his passing once I awoke in the hospital." She remembered that being her first question when she awoke, was he alive? "Part of me can't forgive myself, I should've been stronger, quicker. Sometimes I can still hear that scream... That's why I went into the bar."
Blinking, her attention falters, deciding to change the tune, shift her thoughts elsewhere. Sitting up straight, she guided Tamryn's hand to the base of her neck, pressing the Alpha's fingertips to the raised skin scar that began along her nape. "I got a scar from that day, new elements and these lovely glowing eyes." Again she seemed amused, her lit gaze averting, as if shy to say, "my eyes used to be brown," quietly following with, "I've never told anyone... aside from those involved in the case."
Apologetic and sobering up, she leaned to press a kiss to Tamryn's lips, deducting they both smelled of liquor. "I'm sorry, I seem to kill whatever moment we seem to find ourselves in, which is definitely not my intentions, Querida."
