on @imissthembutitwasntadisaster's urging I FINALLY sat down to listen straight through MCR's The Black Parade and I gotta say. Welcome To The Black Parade may be slightly a meme in certain circles, but it is and remains a certified Very Good Song. like... this is QUALITY lyricism and songwriting and music. yes we all have an instinctive reaction to the G note yes it's a meme about emos and has been for like... years but also YES it is a GOOD SONG with a GOOD MESSAGE and it BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER and BUILDS THEM UP. and that, I think, is what matters.
