i have this very odd feeling that 2023 is gonna be the year my mother disowns me again..

#i've been avoiding using tom's pronouns and just referring to them by name with her #mainly bc she said she was gonna throw some money my way at the end of december #and as bad as it is i wanted to stay friendly up until that point #mostly bc she kiiiiiinda owes me #but i see no sign of it and tom has given me permission to tell her they're out as nonbinary even though we both know it'll cause a fight #btw this will be the 5th disowning if it does occur #but tyler why would it cause a fight? you use he/they? #YEAH I DO but she refuses to acknowledge the they part bc she thinks they/them pronouns are [ableist slur] #HENCE WHY IT WOULD CAUSE A FIGHT
