i need to draw a proper reference for ayru’s prosthetics, but i Am in the process of collecting a small pile of reference photos to help articulate the ideas i have in my brain

#i've never liked the heavy metal look of his canon prosthetics #it doesn't seem practical at all (especially for someone whose fighting style is so light and incorporates so many jumps and flips) #his first prosthetics probably aren't the most advanced or the ones he sticks with (they serve their purpose but that's about it) #later on i imagine he gets a pair made that he can personalize more with engravings vaguely inspired by iridonian horn engravings #they still wouldn't be too flashy though but he has no interest in making them look like actual legs or mimicking his tattoos or anything #he still wears shoes/boots for the most part but only to avoid needless wear/damage not to hide the fact that he has prosthetics #anyway can you tell i'm procrastinating working on my exam project...
