Something I’ve been thinking about lately is that small moment in “Air Turtle” where immediately after the Daves lose yet another game, Leo says how sorry he is and how he’s doing his best as the mascot. This moment is so short but it’s honestly jam-packed with a whole heap of characterization.
His need to apologize for things clearly not his fault - especially when it feels like he messes up the job he was given despite doing the best he can (the phrase “it’s not about you” takes a new meaning when this is one of the lessons to be learned from that - that he is not always solely responsible for things going wrong), his need to save face and make a connection with an older adult man in his life (something he consistently does throughout the series - he’s got a few daddy issues, always collecting potential father figures, it’s no wonder he jumps at the bit to keep rapport), and the way he sounds and looks and the words he chooses really pushes how he is just a kid (“Mr. the Dunk, I’m so sorry”).
Like I know it’s a one off moment that doesn’t truly mean much, but when put against the rest of the series it works really well with the rest of Leo’s established character and helps in solidifying later concepts as well.

Henry: "You mentioned that sometimes you can love and love and love someone, and no matter what you do, they don't love you back. Well sometimes, you can love and love and love someone who isn't good to you, and no matter how bad they are, you still love them."
(Episode 13: Terry Jr. and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Dad)
The unintentional foreshadowing of this quote kills me. Was absolutely smacked in the face with dramatic irony when relistening to this episode.
Of course Henry would say this. It's such an excellent thing for him to say, because loving the world and everyone in it is the core of his character. He explicitly tells Lark and Sparrow to love everyone like they love each other, on the precipice of a major battle with someone who defined Henry's misery.
Henry loves so, so much, to the point of tearing himself apart.
Because eventually, what Henry describes to Ron, happens to him. Someone he loves with his whole soul doesn't (CAN'T) love him back anymore. Someone he loves more than anything hurts him, in more ways then one.
But never, ever, will Henry be able to stop loving his son, no matter what.

how the fuck did clear sky get into cat heaven. he literally:
-killed multiple cats (or attempted to)
-disrespected starclan (the whole drown the stars in blood thing)
-try to start a whole war
-threw out his crippled brother
-tried to kill bumble (later the god of speech)
-and a dozen more that i can’t think off the top of my head.
it would be cool for an au possibly where one-eye dies but never forms the dark forest (like he doesn’t believe in religion thus never makes cat hell) and instead clear sky is the first one dammed and the first cat to walk the dark forest. this could be a great set up for later arcs where maybe in the distant future we see the dark forest fighting starclan (again) but this time it’s not tigerstar and firestar, it’s clear sky and gray wing
StarClan is flawed from its inception. It's the ancestors of all Clan cats, not just the ones from the Forest Four.
And that included Clear Sky, founder of SkyClan, cat who invented and established borders and war tactics. It's him and his followers who set the battle culture of the Clans that would come after, a snowball that would only grow larger and larger until it reached the state we see in TPB.
StarClan is the way that it is because of him. Him and cats like him are what encouraged StarClan to develop into the reactionary, self-righteous entity that it is, doing what they believe is right to 'protect' the Clans while still thinking their ego is something that must be coddled.

On the topic of Izzy’s queerness and headcanons, and since they mentioned the trans Izzy headcanon specifically (I’m not touching any of their points, it just reminded me that not everyone thinks Izzy is trans and it got me thinking about differing opinions on the nature of his. . . trans. . . ness?):
I do love to see some nice top surgery scars in fanart/fic and of course I’m always down for a ‘he did his own top surgery’ joke (or a later ‘Roach does his top surgery’ situation) but I don’t actually see Izzy as someone who has had or planned on top surgery? This is all personal preference of course but I, personally, don’t think he’d think it was worth the risk of all the downtime he’d need to recover?
As buttoned up as his whole outfit is he, could definitely be hiding stays under all those layers (which are generally more comfortable/practical than modern binders if I’m not mistaken). Or he could just be going full tits out (again, under all the layers) since Con’s got such a nice rack barrel chest anyway.
I do go back and forth on how dysphoric it makes him though, and to be honest I think it maybe would actually fluctuate for him? Like sometimes its worse than other times and all?
But he’s definitely on Ye Olde Testosterone, though I do like to think he was just. Super Hairy before he started transitioning, as a treat.
He does fully encourage and support Jim going for their top surgery though, talks to Roach about it, helps out as much as he can during, bitches at them when they try to escape bedrest, helps them with PT after the fact. He and Olu develop a ‘caring too much about the menace that is Jim Jimenez’ bond in the process and become drinking buddies about it.
