your favorite pink beanie has gone missing. you wear it every time you go out, even around the house sometimes, but the hat has suddenly went MIA. last you saw, it was on your desk. and shoko was the last person in your room, but she doesn't seem to have your beloved hat. the four of you are heading out for brunch at some cafe satoru was going rabid about, so you don't want to keep them waiting over a beanie. it’s not until you settle for another and meet the trio at the door that you spot it on satoru’s head.

he doesn't show the slightest hint of guilt as you approach, in fact gojo acts like everything is normal. you'd find the sight of this 6 foot giant topped off with a baby pink beanie amusing if you weren't so annoyed in the moment.

“i have been looking all over for that!” you glare up at gojo, poking a finger in his chest.

and he just gives you a shit-eating grin. “oh, i know! looks like you finally found it, yeah?”

he thinks the little frown you give him is so cute, but gojo still pacifies your angry stare by engulfing you in his blue scarf. he taps a finger on your nose, and his eyes light up when you grin at him. you suppose this is a fair trade.

a brand new pair of pink slides that you just bought to wear around the house have suddenly disappeared clean from your bedroom. you wonder if you left them in shoko’s room, and search for her to ask.

“sho?” you call as you stick your head out onto the balcony. “have you seen my sandals?”

she’s leaning against the rail having a smoke, suguru sitting in one of the balcony chairs. your eyes gravitate to her feet as she asks, “which ones?”

‘which ones?’ you repeat mockingly in your head, staring at said shoes on her feet because she’s seemingly helped herself. along with a pair of your new socks, too, apparently?

"now, shoko-"

"okay, okay." she and suguru share delighted giggles. "can i wear them a little longer, until i finish this?" shoko lifts the glowing cigarette in her hand.

you huff, though unable to fight the way your lips curl up into a smile. "fine. i want them back right after, though. get your own slides."

she brushes you off with a turn of her head, giggling. "love you, y/n."

"yeah, yeah, whatever."

yep, one of your pillows is definitely missing.

it's not on the couch (like the last time gojo took it when he fell asleep there) and not in shoko's room (which you assume would make the most sense). you're headed to the guest room next to see if it's been misplaced there, but something feels off when you pass by suguru's open door. his eyes are on you as you step back for a doubletake, and find him relaxed atop a very out-of-place pink pillow on his black bedsheets.

"what, are your pillows not good enough?" hands falling to your hips, your head tilts, a brow raised at geto's unbothered reaction.

he replies with a languid smile. "i find yours a little more comfortable."

you hold your tongue on reminding him that you both went pillow-shopping together, so they're the same pillows. he holds his tongue on admitting that he also likes the way your scent calms his nerves and lulls him to sleep. you both decide it's not important, right now, anyway.

when was the last time you cried? i think it was, i finally watched into the spiderverse for the first time like two months ago seeing all the hype abt the sequel, and when the big sad emotional climax moment happened, the one during the big fight, i was crying, not silent leaking eyes maybe sniffling a bit, like full on open mouthed sobbing. shit just hit me rly hard, that movie's so good

okay so, the entire tiktok idea was planned— but the part where shouto came in surely wasn’t staged

so, being a curious young person— you wanted to make a tiktok, where you went on omegle just to speak to people for fun

and inside of your head, you’re kinda thinking that “this is dumb, omg im going to get flashed on there.” also while you were setting up your laptop

but you just used the appropriate tags and !! you were set off for an adventure

you set your phone aside, and you filmed most of the experience— cutting out the not so interesting encounters out of your tiktok

and then came on a dude, who had a,, unique reaction. he didn’t seem all that fishy— until he asked you for your snap (your social medias, essentially)

“you’re kinda cute, y’know. how did i not see you before?”

you shake your head, “oh no no! i appreciate your compliment, but i’m very much taken!” your mind immediately flashing back to the image of your icyhot boyfriend

“nahh you’re lying! i don’t see any dude back there”

oh,, and that was because shouto was out getting snacks 🧎 “no really dude, i appreciate it! i’m very much taken and being disloyal is out of the question!”

this dude just kept insisting and insisting, and due to the struggle— you weren’t able to hear the door knob jiggle

it seemed to be that his advances came to an end, and your lover made an entrance— a mop of red and white peaked out from the door frame

and the dude literally got scared and ended the conversation 💀 because you really weren’t lying!

you also figured that it was time to end your omegle shenanigans, and finish the tiktok— because your boyfriend was already there “hi love, who were you talking to?”

you closed your laptop, and offered him a smile “i was on omegle for a tiktok! i’m glad you’re back.” you discard your phone, wrapping your arms around his torso (and also making sure you don’t delete the draft)

shouto doesn’t say a lot, but he immediately accepts your touch, setting the groceries aside.

he doesn’t question the fact that you were on omegle because well,, he had to get used to your shenanigans on tiktok SOMEHOW

a few hours later, you posted the tiktok— and almost immediately, the tiktok gains a lot of attention

you show him the tiktok, “the tiktok did well.” he’ll comment calmly, but shouto’s lowkey MAD ?? that a dude had the audacity. but he’s just glad that you’re happy just maybe,, don’t go on omegle anymore 💀

“love— next time, let me in on your tiktoks.” he says, running a thumb along your cheek lightly. because he was actually quite entertained, putting everything aside

bakugou katsuki

as if bakugou katsuki would let you go on OMEGLE, a place that’s known for having the sketchiest people to ever exist— but make it virtual

but being with you made him realize that well,, if you want to do something, you’ll go through lengths just to do it.

even the great bakugou katsuki can’t really stop you. whatever makes you happy— but oh, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t highly discourage it

which lead you to go on omegle for a tiktok in the other room, while bakugou exercised in the very next room.

when you told him that you wanted to film a tiktok, bakugou only shrugged— “don’t do overly dumb shit.” was what he only told you and he left the door open too

you then set up your phone and laptop, applied the appropriate tags— and went off to make your tiktok

you only filmed the interesting encounters, and the people you met on there were very diverse in personality and just,, in general.

after the 4th encounter, then came a rather interesting dude. he didn’t seem all that ordinary but he wasn’t spectacular. he was just nice

and the conversation was rather normal— until he started asking for your socials “putting everything aside, do you have social media? you’re really cute.”

you reject immediately, “oh no, i appreciate your words but— i already have a boyfriend.”

you just have to hope that he noticed bakugou walking back and forth with equipment, but with his next words— that doesn’t seem to be the case

“i didn’t see anyone back there, a simple no would’ve been sufficient instead.” uh oh

“no really, i—” and before things escalated, katsuki’s head peaked through the door frame, freshly out of the shower “are you almost done, idiot?”

the dude literally looked behind you, and thought “oh shit, their boyfriend is bakugou fucking katsuki.” because bakugou is famous for,, multiple different reasons

the dude’s camera shakes in terror, “oh uhm,, it was nice meeting you!” not long before he dips from of the conversation, never to be seen again.

closing your laptop— you end the tiktok while bursting into laughter, and this action just confused katsuki ever further. he heard you speaking to someone, and when he looked, the person was nowhere to be seen

“what are you laughing at??”

“nothing katsuki, i was laughing at the tiktok i just made.”

then— you figured that it would be best to tell katsuki now that you were on omegle (long story short, he wasn’t pleased)

he scolded you that you shouldn’t be on omegle, but let’s be honest, he couldn’t stay mad at you— so he just cuddles the frustration away

when you upload the tiktok the following hours, it blows up pretty quickly—with comments like “LOL IS THAT BAKUGOU KATSUKI??” “he had guts until he saw bakugou katsuki 💀” “tbh i’d be scared too”

and when you report the news the katsuki, he smirks— “as he should be.”

midoriya izuku

at this point, izuku is very much used to your shenanigans on tiktok. he’s very supportive of whatever you do all in all

but, about omegle,,, yeah,, as much as he trusts you— he does not trust omegle. he’s aware that it’s a shady place, and he doesn’t advise that you do go on that website bc he cares

so when you brought up the tiktok idea, he proposed that he’d be there, right beside you just to monitor if anyone’s being weird :)

and that’s great! because you also wanted to ask if he wanted to be a reoccuring guest in your tiktok— and of course, what kind of boyfriend would he be if he opposed?

he helps you set up your laptop and phone— all of that sort of stuff, and then you guys were off to make an interesting tiktok

oh, but izuku did apply the appropriate tags because he didn’t want you to see odd things he was secretly nervous but,, you were very ethusiastic, so he was too.

the first several people were interesting in their own way— especially with their reactions to your boyfriend appearing on screen

usually, they’d back off with, and comment on how cute your boyfriend is— wishing the both of you well before calmly leaving to meet new people,

that was how it was, until you met this person in particular.

he sounded very,, egotistical— i wouldn’t say that because you’ve just met the dude, but he acted like everyone wanted him or it sounded like that

then he says, “you definitely have a phone number, right? you’re cute, just my type.” wkdksmd this is awkward since izuku’s right beside you, but he’s just outside of the frame

then, izuku pops out of the frame— in all his cute ass glory, he gives a small wave to the not so pleased stranger

“please, that’s your boyfriend?” he scoffs, “with those arms, he looks like he could be your little brother! now let me ask again—”

Just had a fight with someone on twitter that used to be a really good friend, but lately just became impossible to deal with. I even had her muted and tried to keep our friendship (she was the first person I met on twitter and because of her I made amazing friends there) but she just started acting as if she was better and above everyone. Like when there was a fight, she’d pretend to be the better person while indirectly making us feel dumb or things like that. Now we just fought because I, +

+ in all my goodwill, retweeted something Bellarke-related from an account that even used to pick up on me at a time I had a different @. Anyways, tweet was completely harmless. My friend comes and says I’m wanting to be friends with this horrible person (she really did say some horrible stuff she got reported for), that I’m defending her side account because I said she hadn’t done anything wrong now, that I was being ridiculous by defending her, etc etc. All because she told me she was going +

+ to get her reported soon, which I said sounds like witch hunt, which is what some people do to her (my friend). She doesn’t realize she’s a hypocrite because she blames and makes fun of people for half the thing she does, mainly being “delusional”. I swear, stan twitter is something else. So, how do I keep my sanity? She’s become really toxic but she doesn’t seem to even want to see that. How do I deal with this? Keep my distance until things calm down? Keep my distance forever? I’m confused.

Honestly, that sounds WAY too exhausting. This is one of the reasons I have distanced myself from fandom, because it seems to me that a lot of people are in it for the social drama... not the fictional drama. They like to have someone to fight, and if you step out of line, it might be you. ESPECIALLY if their past fanwars start dissolving and no longer offer a challenge. They need to fight SOMEONE. 

That is what happened to me. After the bc-cl fanwars died down, the bellarke fans who used to stand together over shipwars started turning on each other. I disagreed with some popular and influential bellarke fans over meta and they turned around and started calling me names, setting up anon hate sites, went to other platforms, talked about me on group chats, cut and pasted me to drag me, etc. I didn’t toe the line, I didn’t fall in with their dogma, and so I became the enemy. The target.

Here it sounds like, “You have to be on my side and agree with me all the time or you’re my enemy. I am righteous and have the right to call people out but if you call me out, you are my enemy, and I will turn on you.”

For you, it’s over socializing and fandom, for me it was over meta and identity. 

People like that don’t like their authority challenged. They don’t allow themselves to be wrong because their self worth is wrapped up in being right all the time, even if its’ just about fiction. Which none of us even know the end of yet. And you already said that she tries to make people feel dumb whenever they disagree with her, and that, well, that’s control. Agree with her, or you are dumb. You also say she disparages OTHER people, on a regular basis, for their ideas that she doesn’t support. I’m going to say that she isn’t JUST becoming toxic. She’s always been toxic. The difference is that now the toxicity is being turned on you.

TBH, this is one of the tells of who a person is. Pay attention to how they treat people who they disagree with, because even if they agree with you now, if your relationship continues and grows, you will ultimately have a disagreement. And the way they treat the people they disagree with will someday be the way they treat you. 

You challenged her. You challenged her righteousness. You pointed out her hypocrisy. You supported the “wrong” idea/person. You are moving into the wrong team. You should never have given that person the benefit of the doubt and you should never have criticized your ‘friend’ for being a hypocrite. She expects you to follow her lead, and not think for yourself. Whoever she likes you should like. Whoever she hates, you should hate. Then you will remain on her team.

You could always apologize and make nice and kiss up to your “friend.” I bet she doesn’t have a problem with people who agree with or support her like good followers. You can give up your concept of fairness, for HER concept of fairness, which looks like “fairness= I win.” You could make sure that she approves all your future ideas and thoughts, make sure you get her permission.

Clearly. That’s not what I would do. Because what I did was say, “Excuse you, I do not need your permission to have my own thoughts. Good bye.” And then just, like, walk way from the argument. Which did not end when I did that. Unfortunately. Because I was now the enemy and her team went after me. And after me. And after me. Until I actually stood up and faced her down. And actually got mean and aggressive. She didn’t let me just walk away and mind my own business. And it doesn’t seem like your friend is allowing you to do that either. 

I don’t know if your friend will do that. I hope it’s not the same person, but I am aware it might be, because it’s the same M.O. But there are a lot of people who behave the same way. They’re called bullies. And if the bullies are on your side, it’s fine.... for you. But when they turn on you, you find out what it’s like to be one of their enemies.

She didn’t change. She’s the same as she always was. You just gained enough independence to be seen as one the threats, and you no longer seek out her good opinion, which makes you dangerous to her. 

You can try to mute or unfollow and just stay away from her. If she doesn’t decide to target you, maybe you can get away unscathed. Good luck.
