Gray and Harper – stood talking sometime in the little dining room – then in the drawing room (G- with us till near 2) till 3 (talking with H- from about 1 20 to 3) A- rode off to Cliff hill just before 3, that I did not see her till dinner at 7 40 H- had seen Mr. Parker last night – Mr. Carr had gone down to him that morning in a great passion saying his landlord had behaved very ill to him, and he was determined to do him all the injury he could – would sell me his (C-s’) 9 coaches and let me the white Swan for the remainder of his term till next May, so that I or my hotel tenant, might have his (C-s’) custom at the White swan till the hotel was ready, and then shut up the white swan – I said I would have nothing to do with Mr. Carr’s purposes of spite and revenge – would not lend myself to anything so dishonourable – I had been told of C-‘s having this scheme of intimidation against his landlord a year or 18 months ago – (Marin told me – heard I think from Mrs. Holmes) – on its being made appear that if I did not buy the coaches C- would sell them to someone else, and that I might have my own way in seeing Mr. Rayner and satisfying him I meant nothing underhand, I agreed to desire Mr. Parker to inquire into Mr. Carr’s proposal and lay it regularly before me – long talk about Mr. Charles Priestley – all his friends all his dependence for pecuniary assistance in York – H- seemed to think he would not and I inclined to think he would take the hotel – if he would better settle it the sooner the better and let him take out the licence and take the coaches and all at once – to write and ask him to call upon me here in the course of tomorrow – the less I had to advance the better said H- but quite agreed that if I must set a man up, it had better be CP- than Ward, or Sir John Ramsden’s valet butler – H-‘s grandmother Mrs. Myers had a farm near Sir JR-‘s her farm servants know all the R- servants – inquiries can easily be made as to advisability of taking the valet Littledale, if

CP- declines the hotel – H- advises letting the market on a lease of 21 years at a fixed rent – likes Mr. Gray’s plan for the exchange etc only afraid there is not room enough – will think it over and give me a birds’ eye sort of perspective view of the 2 markets exchange buildings and the whole of the ground laid out – gave him away with him the ground plan of Northgate and G-‘s 2 sketches the exchange pile, and the [streeting]- H- advised that if C- should come to terms for the coaches, I should have a person to overlook his coachbooks to see what the 9 coaches would be worth – H- to find the person to do this – Mr. Dobson the great coach account auditor at York would overlook the books and collect the facts and Kemplay of Leeds the auditor general as it were son to Kemplay the school master (has £400 a year for this which takes him but little time) and a man of £800 to £1000 a year independence would vale the custom for me to oblige Mr. H- not a man to do it for money – H- if I wanted to apply to him by letter will be till next Monday morning at the house of ‘Mr. James Hacking, Enfield, near Blackbrune’ (I rather think this Hacking is uncle to Mr. Husband) – and will pass thro’ Bradford per coach and be at the Talbot Inn there at 5pm. on Monday evening next – Messrs. Harper and G- together (after H- had had Hainsworth on his Harper’s leaving me at 3) setting out the East tower so that the foundations can be laid and the cellar done, and setting out the back Lodge till H- went away at a little before 5 – I out from 3 to 7 20 about but chiefly with Sam and Jack planting the ½ doz. thorns and 1 Ragland oak – Zebedee fetched up Booths’ 2 long timbers from the meer to the haybarn for wall-plates – Hainsworth came to me about 6 50 with a long bill for stones – said it must be checked by Mr. Booth – mentioned his not coming to the rent day as a thing that must not occur again – and he promised it should not – then mentioned the market – TG- having spoken about it – I suppose a deputation coming about it – mentioned the names of Mr. Whitley and old Mr. Mitchell – H- seemed to know nothing about it – said I had my own plans but would oblige the town if I could – told H- to get me 2 tenants for my 2 fields – 2 votes – A- and I were determined to have voters – would not rest till we had about 50 – H- much pleased – entering upon a long recital of our praises at the conservative association now consisting 600 members – wanted a room for general meetings that would hold one thousand people – on coming in wrote and sent by Frank (who went this morning to inquire if Thomas Greenwood would hire him as carter) my note to ‘Messrs. Parker and Adam solicitors H-x’ saying that after my note of last night perhaps it was hardly necessary to say I should be much obliged to Mr. P- to communicate with C- and lay his proposal before me, as it seemed not impossible some terms might be come to – dinner at 7 40 – coffee – A- very agreeable and sat long at table and afterwards at coffee till we both came upstairs together at 10 5 and she sat with me in the blue room 20 minutes or more – then wrote all the above of today till 11 55 very fine day F57° at 10 5 pm

My portraiture photography inspired by Rembrandt
My photographs I would like to create in studio, were inspired by these 2 paintings.
Saskia with flower
Tumblr media
Saskia with a Flower is a 1641 oil on canvas portrait by Rembrandt of his wife Saskia van Uylenburgh, now in the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden. It is also known as Saskia with a Red Flower, Saskia with a Carnation or Saskia as Flora.
Tumblr media
Hendrickje Stoffels (1626 – 21 July 1663) was the long time partner of Rembrandt. The couple were unable to marry because of the financial settlement linked to the will of Rembrandt's deceased wife Saskia, but they remained together until Hendrickje's death. In 1654 she gave birth to Rembrandt's daughter Cornelia. In the later years of their relationship Hendrickje managed Rembrandt's business affairs together with the painter's son Titus.
Hendrickje is widely believed to have modelled for several of Rembrandt's works and to be depicted in some Tronie portraits. However, her role as Rembrandt's model is disputed by some critics.
Relationship with Rembrandt
Hendrickje obtained work as Rembrandt's housekeeper, and seems to have lived with him from approximately 1647, at first as a maid, but fast becoming much more. This led to an acrimonious fallout with Rembrandt's previous live-in lover Geertje Dircx, who sued Rembrandt for breach of promise in 1649, and demanded maintenance payments from him. Hendrickje testified in the case, confirming that a financial agreement had been reached with Geertje. In the same year Hendrickje returned to Bredevoort for the summer (possibly with Rembrandt accompanying her), and is there mentioned as a witness to a christening in the Bredevoorts church records. The Eighty Years' War was past, and peace was finally reaching even the eastern Netherlands.
In 1654, when she was pregnant with Rembrandt's daughter, Hendrickje had to appear before the Council of the Reformed Church for "living in sin" with Rembrandt, who was a widower and 20 years her senior. She admitted to "unwedded cohabitation" with Rembrandt and was banned from receiving communion. On 30 October 1654, the couple's daughter Cornelia van Rijn was baptized in the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam. Rembrandt and Hendrickje lived together as common law husband and wife until her death in 1663.
Initially, Rembrandt's unwillingness to marry Hendrickje had a pecuniary motive: by marrying her he would have forfeited the inheritance of his first wife Saskia van Uylenburgh. Even with this inheritance he had major financial problems, but without it he would have been bankrupt. But then in 1655, Titus – the son he had with Saskia – turned 14, and thereby eligible by law to make his will. Rembrandt immediately made sure that Titus installed him as his only heir and by that he outwitted Saskia. Still, he did not marry Hendrickje.
As Rembrandt's dealer
By 1656 Rembrandt was forced to declare bankruptcy. In 1658 he lost his house, and he, Hendrickje, Cornelia and Titus moved into rented property in the Jordaan. In the same year, Hendrickje, who got along well with Titus, opened an art shop with Titus’ help where she sold Rembrandt’s paintings. In order to protect him from his money lenders Hendrickje and Titus became his employers.[9] In this way his former maid Hendrickje Stoffels had become his boss – at least officially. Her biographer Christoph Driessen believes that Rembrandt’s noticeable productivity in the early 1660s was caused by the obvious support Hendrickje was rendering him. She was organizing his life for him and prevented his complete downfall after his bankruptcy.
In May 1663, the plague arrived in Amsterdam and killed thousands, especially at the end of the year. It is not clear Hendrickje was a victim of the epidemic as she was the only one who was buried in the Westerkerk in Amsterdam on 24 July 1663.
In Rembrandt's art
Hendrickje may have been a model for
Bathsheba at Her Bath (1654).
Though there are no paintings that are explicitly identified as depictions of Hendrickje, there are a number of portraits, nudes and other images which appear to depict the same woman, who is often assumed to be Hendrickje. A portrait in the National Gallery, London is identified as her "based on the knowledge of the sitter's relationship with the artist, and the informality and affection with which she is represented. She is seated wearing a fur wrap and jewellery. There are a number of other portrait-like images that appear to depict the same woman. However, Rembrandt scholar Eric Sluijter is sceptical of attempts to identify Hendrickje in Rembrandt's work, writing that,
If one compares the large number of etchings, drawings and paintings with the purpose of recognizing Hendrickje it appears more often than not that there is little mutual resemblance between all the candidates. It is surprising how, still, in recent art historical literature numerous works are identified as Hendrickje Stoffels as a matter of course.
Sluijter suggests that the broad similarity between the faces of women in Rembrandt's paintings suggest that he tended to portray an "ideal type".
Hendrickje is also traditionally identified as the model for a number of nudes, especially the painting Bathsheba at Her Bath. She would have been 28 at the time of the painting. Sluijter has proposed otherwise, stating that Rembrandt would be very unlikely to portray his partner's own recognisable face on nudes to be sold publicly.

Acquiring the Help oneself of Impression Little business
In this old age of laser and ink green printers, it is difficult to guess just about that in that respect has been a clock when from each one somebody printed alphabetic character or newssheet in demand to be ordered and printed in target chassis. The former built right smart of printing process is non stillness dropped. There are proceed to die-hards who however honor the guile. Maybe among the about strong-armer pieces of the printing process proficiency is stabilizing colourise on push. Many problems in coloration impression are the petit mal epilepsy of inclusion of the insistency operators on color invention. With the printer's absence of cognition and organism intimate with when it fears colour printing, it is no marvel that the the greater percentage of go-ahead and hands and women with impression tasks near up acquiring rent land with their duties. Ahead permitting for important ink and exhort adjustments, it is essential to cover how ink separations are made. This is chiefly because devoid of stableness in the celluloid, it is undoable to align dust and color achieve on pressure. Integer printing is degraded acquiring Worth in the printing process total globe as its rewards are a increasing excerption of identified. This know-how entails the growth of the nontextual matter or fancy on a electronic computer organisation programme in extremity case and afterward that impression it. Physical science printing has really limited the printing process technologies made role of presently from extinct of see impression systems to knifelike edge printing process methods. Owed to the actuality that of its gains in superfluous of other impression technologies, it capabilities as the passing identical Best quality for these enterprises and persons strain to settle all-inclusive and pecuniary resource-friendly foresightful lasting advertisement and marketing products and solutions. For this constituent, it is meaning that you wad with printing businesses whose prepress operators and personnel office get an apprehension of the essentials of color management and the suitable workings of electronic conception. They see what discolor temperature is and they screw what blank stableness is. As an helpful color procreation will non ceaselessly lie of hugger-mugger tips nevertheless demands paid out samara nidus on the many important aspects, it is substance to take the printing process initiative that volition ingest an sympathy of your mark turn and hand you the outcome that you motivation. Costly Expenses
Our thoughtful government saves us from pecuniary ruin by giving us more useless cash. Churning out money at this rate may overheat the printers, but you have to take risks to pretend you're profiting. We can use what was one of the few paper products we're still allowed to use as blankets when we're compassionately sleeping on park benches. Buying a covering isn't worth the price, which makes it like every other object. Isn't it nice to be no longer possessed by possessions?
The inadvertent economic lesson of making things costly is the sole benefit of Joe Biden's inflated term. We're referring to items being more than expensive, which confuses our dear president. Issue an executive order that words can only mean something in one sense so we can move past the era of connotations.
Pretending we can get something for nothing is the surest way to create a product nobody can afford. The oldest lesson is also the least fun one to learn, which is why we keep repeating it. Everything generated is unwanted. So, that's why everyone seems so freaking happy.
The constant call for affordable housing creates noise complaints instead of cheaper mortgages. A high quantity of sales pitches surely wears down economics. The first humans to think rent should be cheap must surely be clever about other matters. Scream on a subway platform about how corporations are out to get you.
A seller looking for a market shouldn't be made to feel bad for the pursuit. Figuring whatever sort of units they think they can fill is the goal of oh so greedy landlords. Dreaming of artificially lowering prices will surely make it reality. Also, pizza should burn calories.
Trying to help may screw up everything. Take starting off with a goal of ending unemployment. Wouldn't it be swell if nobody had to worry about having a job or coping with life? Back here on Earth, jobs are the byproduct of having something useful to do. Uncertainty about competence plagues the very sort of people who vainly demand guarantees.
Desiring unlimited free money is why you must vote correctly. That's unless you want to suffer the indignity of toiling in order to acquire limited stockpiles. Supply and demand applies to what's used to buy goods, as well. Cursing consistency won't alter it.
Government pays the balance, and we all know they possess unlimited free cash. That's why their name is on the bills. As for other obsolete technology, the reasons anything costs anything eludes those who think executive orders create affordability. All they see is the price and not how it was set. Costs way beyond what's billed are not negated by voting.
Shoddy insurance is the downside of everyone getting it automatically. At least the prices are astronomical. Medical procedures cost a fortune, notice those who made them that way with endless mandates while buffering customers from prices. The only amazing thing about how high prices get when companies who aren't paying directly is that anyone is amazed.
This open bar is a great deal except for the bride's father. Handing the tab to society causes the worst hangover. Trying their hardest to make life communal is for those who manage pain by sharing it. Blues music is a way better alternative.
Take all the useless money you want. The reason prosperous contentment feels contagious has to do with the security derived from sitting on furniture made of cash piles.
There's surely no catch to the easiest way to get rich. Mean Republicans told you the only way to have bills falling out of pockets was to please bosses or customers. Do you really want to have to be good at something to afford food? Instead, it takes multiple wheelbarrows full of bills to buy a gallon of milk, and making vegans feel indignant isn't worth the price.
Satan shakes his head at how devious these alleged deals are. Getting hooked on terrible entitlements is cynical even for alleged hope peddlers. There's nowhere to take your dollars because you didn't spend any if you didn't already feel trapped. You're stuck with the dispassionate and caring government that couldn't figure out printing money furiously would lower its value. Washington offers no alternative. It's not like Burger King if Wendy is rude to you.
I only wish there could be a way to lower prices like different sellers competing for business. Such a “free market” would also maximize quality by having to attract customers.
You might think of not trying to make everything cheaper by edict but by competing for business. That is because you are an unsophisticated rube who doesn't understand how the right White House can order everything better. Expensive things that are worth the price will be a relic like VCRs.
People being able to afford things because the economy isn't drained to fill it sounds like a trick. Being glad to pay for nice stuff would mean earning and compensation, and both of those are antithetical to collective utopia. Or, continue to worry the plasma bank guy will recognize you while attempting to peddle your lone asset.
Trying to get rich instead of settling for poverty is for decadent kulaks. The whole work part dissuades those with political science degrees costing in the mid-six-figure range. The same tactics designed to lower prices creates the very need for them. If that's not ironic enough, wait until you hear about how being handed money doesn't mean you're wealthy.

Seven evangelical churches in Turkey
There are now seven evangelical churches in Turkey, and, before you receive this, there will probably be eight. These churches of the living God have nowhere to assemble but “ at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,” in a private house, or in a room rented for the purpose, no house of prayer having been yet erected for any of them. The church of Constantinople was organized nearly two years ago, with forty members, and sixty have since been added to it, there having been additions at every communion. The number of those that belong to the congregation is at least four times as large as the number of those that belong to the church, and no private house is sufficiently large to accommodate them. “ Your servants for Jesus’ sake,” whom you have sent here to invite “ as many as they find” to the Gospel feast, can no longer say to those that come, “ And yet there is room; ” but, in direct opposition to the while spirit of Christianity, our straitened circumstances declare to them more plainly than words, You must go away; there is no more room.
A house of God, then, is imperiously demanded. A lot for the purpose has already been purchased. The contract for the building is already made. The house will absolutely be built. The cost will be ten thousand dollars. The money must and will be forthcoming. You will see the bills are drawn at sight. Should you honor them, the honesty and the reward will be yours. Your own precious Redeemer, who poured out His own soul unto death to save yours, has such confidence in your punctuality and uprightness that you have the honor of His first call. Ilis first drafts are on you; and surely not for worlds would you have His confidence in the stability and integrity of your house shaken.
Should it be asked why the people here do not build their own church, the answer is, they have suffered the loss of all things for Christ, and taken joyfully the spoiling of their goods. Some of them are not even yet able to earn their own bread, so vigilant are their enemies to distress and ruin them. “ Now at this time, then, let your abundance be a supply for their want, that their abundance may hereafter be a supply for your want,” beyond the Rocky Mountains, in Oregon, or California.
Contemplated church of the Redeemer
One word more. Satan has a house of worship building here, — a magnificent theatre, — which will cost at least one hundred times as much as this contemplated church of the Redeemer. Some scores of men have been employed on it for many months, and they will be employed for mouths more. This also is built by subscription. Rut all Satan’s drafts for this object are duly honored. Sustaining pecuniary
From his very entrance upon his work at Constantinople, Mr. Goodell had aimed at calling forth the energies of the people in sustaining pecuniary the various operations that were undertaken for their benefit, and this not merely as a matter of economy, but in order that they might appreciate their privileges. What costs nothing is little valued; and it is equally true that those who have expended time and labor and money on any enterprise will naturally look for some return from the investment.
We have not heard of a single bill of his being protested here, although he really has no funds in any house.

We have not heard of a single bill of his being protested here, although he really has no funds in any house.
Now, my dear brother, we have no more words to say. If any more are necessary, you must say them. Rut we fully expect to hear that those on whom these bills are drawn sat down immediately and wrote “Accepted,” and said at once, “ Rise up and build bulgaria holidays.” And thus all that any future historian of these transactions will have to add will be, “ So they strengthened their hands for this good work.”
Alleluia! Amen! Farewell.
In behalf of the station,
W. GOODELL.
To this were appended a number of drafts for various amounts, to be signed with the names of the cheerful donors of the several sums.
The first year that he was at Constantinople, he encouraged the Greeks and the Turks to 15 v
establish tlieir own schools, while he furnished the plans for carrying them on, and, as far as possible, books and teachers, for which they were expected to pay. In this way they were made altogether responsible for keeping up the schools.
