Three ships: Griddlehark, my beloved.. they just rotate in my brain no matter what I'm doing and I'm not ready for the series to end next year. CaitVi because yes. I want my messy blue/red lesbians and I hc Vi (gentle) touch starved af. Camilla Hect and therapy.

First ever ship: I cannot avoid the weird kid allegations anymore: Sonadow (Sonic X Shadow..... yes the hedgehogs).

Last song: Hot by Liili

Last film: Vesper on Netflix. I really liked the world they were presenting with the Citadels and lab-made viruses/diseases/fungi infecting and killing most of the world's wildlife and food. Workers have been replaced with lab-made creatures called Jugs due to them being easier to control so the lower class are struggling to survive outside the Citadels. Vesper is a girl who's self-studying to help make crops fertile again. It was pretty good, I recommend to anyone who fancies something different to watch.

Currently watching: Superstore on Netflix, recommended to me by a friend.

Currently reading: Frontier by Grace Curtis. Keeping with the dystopian themes I love so much; we follow a stranger who's fallen down to Earth in search of (what I assume is) their romantic interest/partner (because it's apparently a romance). The people of Earth now worship the planet itself, which is interesting as some phrases concerning hell have been replaced with space and phrases concerning god have been replaced with goddess (Mother Earth, fuck yeah, god is a woman). It's been interesting so far, but it feels like a story I'd prefer experiencing as a game.

Currently consuming: Tea.

Currently craving: Cinnamon buns tbh.

COMFORT MOVIE

one of my fave movies ever is the big year with jack black, owen wilson and steve martin. i remember the first time my parents and i watched it we rented it on video on demand and i watched it again the next day before the rental was up. i love adventure movies so much (not action adventure, just adventure!) and it makes me think of my dad because he likes bird watching and i have this dream of doing a big year with him so. it’s a really great movie and it is so comforting to me!!!

COMFORT FOOD

idk if it counts as comfort but naan bread with baba ghanouj can make any horrible day into an amazing day, i love it so fucking much. also bread with brown sugar cinnamon spread!!! and chocolate chip pancakes!!!

so sorry but fangirl by rainbow rowell. i love it so much and how everyone is the worst. i love the miscommunication trope (when ik there’s a happy ending) and this book has so much of it!!! and it has my baby levi stewart!!! and i unfortunately relate to the main character so much as a bitchy uncommunicative loser nerd!!! i reread like my fave portion all the way to the end of the book every like 2 months or so slkdjflkdjs i love it so much

when you're angry, all your defenses go up. the unfortunate person or thing that managed to piss you off is suddenly talking to a wall. On the inside, you're screaming and crying and cussing them out, but somehow you can't express it. you're blank. emotionless. to anyone's knowledge, you could be zoning out of a lecture. because of this, it's hard to express how you're feeling when the person asks for your thoughts. you've choked your feelings down, and they won't come back up.
