LEFT BEHIND

I feel left behind.

My colleague just got her fiancé visa approved. My HS batch mates are either getting engaged or married, and some has already their kid/s (not 1, but 2!! freakin' kids-- mamsh tao na yun, di na aso). Honestly, I've never been so envious to those ppl who's as if have their lives all well figured out, like srsly, while being me is like "ma, late ako uuwi, date kami ni Alds", "ma, pde ako swimming sa dagat kasama fam ni Alds", "ma, dinner out lng with bffs", and I still got curfews whenever i dont ask for my parents' permission!! My dad is still waiting for me downstairs until i get home safely. Bruuuh, i love my family so much, but I want to explore things that an independent lady would do. Travel, go out sober, go home wasted, roadtrip to nowhere, get lost, make new friends, explore nature, mga ganong bagay, ofc with friends or boyfriend.

Then comes the earthquake phenom, I was rly thinking that it would be the end of the world!!!! No joke, i was on the 2nd flr of our bldg when it happened, i thought i wont be able to get out alive, falling debris were everywhere, i also thought that i would be buried alive with the crumbles of bldg. And there, i thought i was going to die virgin (still lol-- haha on a funny note), but thank God, i didnt, i survived, i am still writing this.

Aldrin, my love, let's get married the soonest!!!! We may never know what will happen for the days to come, so lets make the best out of it. I love it when you're with me and just plainly doing nothing. Just your presence in sight makes my heart full. If i were just the boy, i would ask you to marry me asap, be anxious of our future because we're still struggling young professionals, but who cares, as long as you're with me, we can make things happen, we can overcome all challenges.

It may be a stupid idea getting married with what i have in my bank acct, but I would still be the happiest person if it will happen!!! Hahahahaha 🤣
