#i do believe people experience symptoms that align with what is considered a personality disorder #what i don't believe is that is something easily pathologized that is permanent state or way of thinking #which ive noticed people weild personality disorders as if it's as such #like a neurological disability and not a symptom of more complex issues stemming from both nature and nurture #it's the new hysteria #an easy way to say we won't treat you because you're just like that #and worse still people with aforementioned diagnoses say #i have this pd which means i am just like that and i won't be held accountable or try to grow because i was told its pathologic #it's broader and more complicated #it's trauma #it's neurodivergency #it's systemic oppression #its responding to alienation #its hostile conditioning #it is not an identity
